Region 1 is North America. You can't play DVDs from overseas on a North American player. Which, up until recently, was a shame, because the UK always was coming out with American TV shows on DVD. To answer the original question, IF it's been released here in Canada, I'm picking it up and watching it tonight.

Gorilla Monsoon is your all-time favourite wrestler?

14. He's not Rob Johnson

Well, there's why it didn't happen, right there.

I'm still laughing from this one.

No, both UConn teams are #1.

Here's a hearty "FUCK YOU" to every movie exec in Hollywood. -
That pisses me off more than the USC/OSU thing. Apparently the NY Times computer has TCU down somewhere in the twenties, behind some teams with THREE losses. It's disgusting.

I'm not afraid to say it... A Walk To Remember.

Living in the northeast, I've always been a huge Big East guy.

Cuban got such a huge pop because Cuban is a demi-god in Dallas. He is an owner, but he's seen as just another fan, which makes him supercool. Plus, if you knew just how bad the Mavericks were before Cuban rescued them, you'd understand.

Well, this is very disconcerting. Looks like after last night's game, Parcells wanted to kiss and make up: Edit: Damn you who beat me to it...

Oklahoma and TCU, because they're both undefeated, both have to be in. Aside from them, probably USC, Ohio State, LSU, Georgia, Texas and Miami (Ohio), just for kicks.

I beg to differ. Austin punking out midcarders and upper-midcarders for no reason at all without any repercussions is very much NOT entertaining. In fact, the only way this storyline will make sense at all is for Austin's team to lose.

The One and Only Survivor Series Thread

You know, for a non-wrestler, Vince sure gets in the main event a lot. What was the last PPV Vince main evented? Assuming we don't count WMXIX (where Vince/Hogan was the de facto main, even though it didn't go on last), I'm pretty sure it would be King of the Ring 2000. But look at this list: - Survivor Series 2003 (Vince/UT Buried Alive) - King of the Ring 2000 (Rock/UT/Kane vs. HHH/Vince/Shane) - Armageddon 1999 (Vince/HHH) - King of the Ring 1999 (Vince/Shane vs. Austin, ladder) - St. Valentine's Day Massacre 1999 (Vince/Austin, cage) - Royal Rumble 1999 (Vince wins Rumble) Not to mention primo slots at 2 of the last 3 Manias, vs. Hogan at XIX and vs. Shane at X-7, as well as semi-mains against Flair at Rumble 2002 and against STEPHANIE(?!?) at No Mercy last month. That's as many as or more than a lot of guys in this company (RVD and Benoit, most notably). And he's a NON-WRESTLER. Christ, I hate this company. -
There's no way they're getting this.

Interesting stat...Tony Dungy is the first coach to have beaten all 32 current NFL teams.

Upheld. Vikes need to at least hold Oakland to a FG now.

The "Charlie Brown Christmas" soundtrack.

How is it that freaking DALLAS has as many wins as last year's Super Bowl teams COMBINED???
-
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Wait until the Rumble for sure. It's usually a pretty decent PPV even when the product is bad.

A lot of things have changes since last year. All signs are pointing toward no one wanting to pay to see the product. TV ratings are holding, but house show attendance and PPV buys are going into the toilet. I'll be surprised if it breaks 200,000.

That's not going to make a lick of difference. Boller's not good at this point, he's just less bad than every other option they have.
