I cannot even tell you how much a Braves-Marlins, Yankees-A's LCS pairing would turn me off these playoffs. The A's are the only team I'd be even half-interested in seeing win; the rest I absolutely can't stand...and they all would have eliminated a team I would've loved to see win the entire thing. Jeff Loria is an absolute asshole, and I will be rooting against the Marlins harder than I rooted against Art Modell and the Ravens 3 years ago (not that that did any good...).

I have seen the future in the Ottawa goal, and it is undoubtedly Ray Emery. What a performance against Detroit this week! Facing what amounted to the Detroit opening day roster, and opposing Dominik Hasek, Emery was outstanding in a 3-1 win. He could very well be the best goaltender on the roster -- and he'll be starting in Binghamton this year. Ohbytheway...Senators are 7-0-0 in the preseason, including three wins against the Leafs by a combined score of 10-3. Can't wait for November 29...Leafs at Senators on Hockey Night in Canada.

FINALLY got to see this movie yesterday. I can pinpoint exactly what was lacking: a decent script. I swear, I couldn't believe some of the lines that were coming out of these people's mouths...they were just so over-the-top that they were laugh out loud funny at times.
