My defensive guys keep getting picked, while my offensive guys are staying on the board, so I guess I'll keep building the offensive line, with one of the truly great centers: Jim Langer, C 2x Super Bowl winner (VII, VIII) 6x Pro Bowl selection (1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978) 6x All-Pro selection (1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978) NFL 1970s All-Decade Team Pro Football Hall of Fame (1987) Probably the best O-lineman on the undefeated Dolphins, and so good he even has a college award named after him (D-II offensive lineman of the year). More holes for Barry to run through.

Damn you, Muller was on my list for my next two picks. :shakes fist angrily:

WWE/WCW Match Backwards Draft
CanadianChris replied to foleyfanforever88's topic in General Wrestling
Aw dammit, that's what I was going to pick. No matter, though, I thought of something better (worse?). With the 2nd pick in the draft, I'll select: Doomsday Cage match: Hulk Hogan & Randy Savage vs. Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Lex Luger, Kevin Sullivan, Meng, The Barbarian, Z Gangsta and The Ultimate Solution, Uncensored 96 Words cannot even describe this abomination. Easily the worst PPV main event of all time. And of course, Flair took the pin. -
The OAO TSM "Happy Birthday, you!" Thread

Happy quarter-century, Max. -
I wouldn't be surprised if there's a site somewhere for famous cancer patients or something like that. You should go look at Leena's list from last year, it was way worse from that perspective.

WWE/WCW Match Backwards Draft

I'll give this a shot. Do I get to pick now? -
Watch some of my upcoming picks. Well, besides the fact that I've drafted two already.

I really have no problem with anyone on Marvin's list. Simplot was the president of a large corporation, and had a pretty extensive Wiki entry. He's not really that different from a Bill Gates, or a Warren Buffett. It's not like he was famous for being the oldest living person in the US -- anything like that would be unacceptable. The only one I questioned was the professor with the brain tumour, but even he's a best-selling author.

Wow, looking at my roster, I think I actually have 5-6 keepers. That certainly wasn't the case a few weeks ago.

Ding! I wanted to get some grit in addition to scoring ability on my forward lines...I think these two picks start to accomplish that: John Tonelli, LW Dale Hunter, C

Tick...tick...tick...

That's funny, Meltzer has been saying the crowd is dead in pretty much every match review so far.

Oh, man. I was thisclose to taking Bennett with my last pick That's a great selection.

I think enough of a precedent has been set to allow me to take this and have enough programming to last me until just about the end of time: Hockey Night in Canada

Out of the ten or so matches left on my list, I've narrowed it down to two. I'm virtually certain one will not be picked, so I'll leave it for last. Which leaves me with this match: The Megapowers (Randy Savage & Hulk Hogan) vs. The Megabucks (Ted DiBiase & Andre the Giant), Summerslam 88, August 29, 1988 The atmosphere for this was just off the charts. Not bad from a technical standpoint, either, but that's not why you're watching this match.

Last Comic Standing With Comedy Central Presents gone, this is my first choice for good (and not so good) standup comedy.

April 12, 1992 - Cleveland beats Boston 2-1 without recording any hits. http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CL...199204121.shtml Pitcher's name was Matt Young Andy Hawkins threw a no-hitter for the Yankees back in 1990 and lost 4-0. The White Sox scored all 4 runs in the 8th inning with two out, on two walks and three errors.

I think 12 hours is up...fourth out of the four well-known matches involving these two is still better than the vast majority of matches out there: WCW World Heavyweight Championship match: Ric Flair [c] vs. Ricky Steamboat, Spring Stampede, April 17, 1994

There's no work to show. It's a vertical line, so it has infinite slope and no y-intercept. The equation is x=-5.

I'll grab both of the great Newman/Redford movies...both of these are just such fun to watch: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) The Sting (1973)

Continuing to build the offensive line: Bob Brown, OT Pro Bowls: 1966, 1967, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 All-NFL: 1965, 1966, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 NFL 1960s All-Decade Team College Football Hall of Fame Pro Football Hall of Fame, 2004 Anyone who can say this is welcome to play on my team any day:

To help, supplement = 180 - angle, and complement = 90 - angle. Aside from that, it's an algebra problem.

It wasn't going to be for long, goddammit.

Ah, the first really good RAW match. That was on my list from the start. (You should see this list.) It was way down in the order, though.

I'll give that a shot. I usually alternate paces. I'll go at an 8:00 pace and then switch to a 15:00 pace to walk and go back and forth. I run the 8:00 pace for 8 minutes but then I start my switching. Maybe I can maintain a 10:00 pace for a lot longer. It's funny though because it takes me a while to get running. My gf can get it on 5.5 (the speed setting) and be running on the treadmill. I go to 5.5 and it's a fast walk. Damn long legs. LOL. Actually, doing the run/walk thing is good, too, it's what got me up to speed. The running clubs around here all recommend a minute of walking for every 10 minutes of running.
