Yeah, I noticed that also.

Well, if no one else is going to take it, I will: M*A*S*H I'm one of the apparent few who liked both the Trapper John/Col. Blake era and the B.J./Col. Potter era. Entertaining at worst, and howlingly funny at its very best.

Not to sound like a twit or anything, but could someone give me a better idea of what we're supposed to put in these writeups? PM is fine.

Yeah, I don't ever remember an MJ team blowing a 24-point lead at home during a must-win game. Hell, I don't know that I remember an MJ team blowing a 24-point lead in any game -- playoff, regular season, exhibition, offseason pickup game, whatever.

All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft
CanadianChris replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in Draft Faggotry
I can't help but think that it would've been so amazing if you'd waited for two more guys to post before doing this. -
Sorry for lateness...I would've picked last night, but the board was down and didn't come back up before I went to bed. My pick is incredibly old school, and I don't know if anyone else would make this pick at #2, but this was the defining console game of my teenage years and is still eminently playable today (as I found out when I stumbled upon Virtual NES). This is the game I'd most like to have with me on a desert island: Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES, 1990)

How many rounds are we going?
-
In.
-
JESUS H. CHRIST. I thought I'd easily get Bailey this round.
-
I don't wanna sound like a queer or nothin', but I was expecting to get Orgazmo 5-10 rounds from now.
-
With the eight-hour time limit, I think you're up now.
-
To be honest, I haven't seen at least half of the shows taken so far, so I can't really make a judgment on anyone else's island.
-
Shit, he was my next pick for sure. Nice.
-
I vote C. The only option I absolutely hate is A, though.
-
I called that the minute Wilson was announced as head coach. It made absolutely no sense that they'd hire the coach first unless Fletcher was staying on.

I got a lucky break -- it's my wife's turn to have Father's Day with her dad, but we're doing it in the morning thanks to a scheduling twist with her brother's family. So, I'll be home to watch the entire final round.

I don't know how he's still here, but I won't question it... Bart Starr, QB 4x Pro Bowl selection (1960, 1961, 1962, 1966) 4x All-Pro selection (1961, 1962, 1964, 1966) 3x NFL champion (1961, 1962, 1965) 2x Super Bowl champion (I, II) 2x Super Bowl MVP (I, II) 1966 NFL MVP 1966 UPI NFL MVP NFL 1960s All-Decade Team 5x NFL passer rating leader All-time playoff passer rating leader (104.8) Plus, he won the f'n Ice Bowl. That's good enough for me.

Depends on how good Cassell's blackmail is, I guess.

Pretty much the only good thing to come out of the Two-Man Power Trip: WWF Tag Team Championship match: Steve Austin & Triple H [c] vs. Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit, RAW, May 21, 2001
-
Assuming I get a fourth guy of better quality than, say, Hal Gill, I'd match my top four against anyone.
-
I had another match pegged for here, but this one has been available for far too long, and I was considering taking it as early as the fourth round. The match that made Sting for all time: NWA World title match: Ric Flair [c] vs. Sting, Clash of the Champions I, March 27, 1988

Looks like July 11 is the launch date. And it's FINALLY coming to Canada. I'm so happy I'm not on an existing cell phone contract, because I want one of these very badly.
-
Wanna trade?
-
Must be the Ottawa franchise record.

Not to say it wasn't a good match, but all I can remember about the Angle/Lesnar ironman match was how much of a letdown it turned out to be. I remember rushing home so I could catch the start of the match, expecting a MOTYC, and it really wasn't IMO.
