Unfortunately, that's not the case in Canada.

I wouldn't exactly call it my favourite memory, but my most vivid memory is of Dave Dravecky throwing a pitch and snapping his arm in half against the Expos. -
Eating at Applebees for the first time in four years.

My wife and I went there for dinner in Fort Lauderdale in January. I don't think I've ever been so full. -
No, not at all. This just means that baseball season starts earlier for me than last year.

Yeah, he mentioned this on Bill Simmons' latest podcast. A lot of people were upset that he was taken out of the rotation for the regionals last year. -

Gund Arena is in Cleveland, and was renamed Quicken Loans Arena. Which, coincidentally, is my answer to this question. -

11/16, and I still have my entire Elite Eight. -
ESPN Classic Canada has a 1982 playoff game between Edmonton and Los Angeles tonight. What strikes me immediately is how much SKINNIER these players look compared to today. Some of that is probably all the extra padding they have today, but it's still really evident how much bigger and more powerful today's players are.

Looks like Dallas has the inside track on the ninth seed out west. What a horrible time to lose your best player.

That's only if they have the onions to beat Kansas. -
Whoo, Davidson! Getting me more points and knocking out a hated rival in the process.

Thats if Davidson mustards anything against Wisconsin defence. I see them playing ketchup all night. -
The Jays have to be one of the unluckiest organizations in baseball the past few years. Fourth place is looking more and more likely.

I would never vote for daily changes, because I don't have the time to spend on my roster every day. That's why I can't figure out why I join all these other leagues that have daily changes.

If ever there was a sure sign a guy should just retire already, that's it.

Redden's days of being a solid defenceman appear to be behind him.
-
I will say this -- there is no way that Wade Redden will be resigned by Ottawa in the offseason. None whatsoever.

Here's one. It was the lowest scoring "major" league in baseball history. 3.33 runs per game. And people today say the game is boring.

Seconded. Next question: What professional athlete do you think is/was the biggest underachiever during his/her career? -
I don't think it should be much of a struggle. Sens SHOULD win this one easily. Like you said, the Leafs don't have Sundin, and the Sens can actually score goals and, on a good night, play decent defence.

That's weekly, not biweekly. Divide by 26 to get biweekly. No. Because the interest compounds daily, you grossly underestimate your interest paid by just adding 10% to the mortgage value. Using your assumptions, you're looking at over $1300 a month. There are more costs as well. Because your down payment is so low, you need to add CMHC insurance onto the mortgage amount, which is about 3%, as well as closing costs (including your lawyer), which could be another 3%. That should add close to $10K to your mortgage. In addition, you need to figure out how much you'll be paying in property taxes. My opinion: Buying a house is something everyone should strive for. However, if you're single and making less than $50K a year, you might want to hold off for a little while, lest you overextend yourself.
