Nah, samosas come from central Asia (India, Pakistan, etc.). They've probably migrated west to the Arab countries and the horn of Africa.
-
And you know they will.
-
At least you've won one of yours.

My wife and I both have mutual funds in our RRSPs, and the rest of our money is in a high-interest savings account making a little over 4%.

EDIT: Oh geez, I swear I searched and couldn't find him. Fifth round for Harden? Really? Wow. Oh well, then I'll REALLY roll the dice on... Kevin Millwood, SP

The franchise that is currently in Ottawa doesn't share the history of the old Senators. -
I guess it really didn't matter if I agreed or not, since I don't have a pick this round.

I didn't even look at the other responses... Baseball: Tampa Bay, Seattle, Texas, Washington, Houston, Milwaukee, San Diego, Colorado Football: Cincinnati, Jacksonville, Houston, Minnesota, New Orleans, Atlanta, Carolina, Seattle (this is assuming we're counting NFL and AFL titles before the SB era) Basketball: Toronto, Orlando, Cleveland, Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas, Minnesota, Memphis, New Orleans, Denver, Utah, Phoenix, LA Clippers, Sacramento, Golden State (again, counting ABA titles for the Nets and Pacers) Hockey: Washington, Florida, Atlanta, Ottawa, Buffalo, Minnesota, Vancouver, St. Louis, Columbus, Nashville, Los Angeles, San Jose (again, counting WHA titles for the Jets/Coyotes) EDIT: Strike the Kings, Warriors and Hawks off my basketball list, then. -
I was going to do it, since I usually do. But, go ahead.
-
I didn't have much of a choice here, I don't think... Nick Johnson, 1B thepinjockey selects Ervin Santana, SP. Best of luck (I had him last year).

Finally, I found it...Stone Cold's terrific promo vignette for Survivor Series 96:

Playing for Keeps by David Halberstam. The definitive book on Michael Jordan and his ascent to global icon, and the evolution of basketball during that time.

Yeah, all the Canadian races are off except maybe the one in Edmonton, thanks to scheduling conflicts with the two circuits merging. Tony George can burn in hell for destroying open-wheel racing in North America.
-
Does this mean MikeSC and Marney are back?
-
Go to Al Snow's house and ask to see his jersey collection.
-
Unless I miss my guess, you'll be rid of both of them after next season.
-
Nice pick. I was just thinking of him, after noticing I'm very light on SBs.

Let's Find Some New Classic Threads

Don't forget the Vince McMahon's Ladder Legdrop thread. Probably the best thing ever to come out of the WWE folder. -
Sounds good to me.

Probably Tyson/Spinks. Just a massacre from the word "go." The Broncos/49ers and Bears/Patriots Super Bowls both came to mind, as well as the 62-3 Jags/Dolphins playoff game. In baseball, I'd have to go with this game between the Brewers and Blue Jays in 1992, when the Brewers set club records for runs (22) and hits (31). Something reminded me of the list of the 50 greatest NBA players, and it got me to thinking of this question...looking back on the list now, given what's happened in the past twelve years, who would you add to the list, and who would you remove? -
King's pick is now up.
-
No, you can pick now.
