I shouldn't have a problem with either day. Next week is better than the week after anyway, given that the following week is Easter weekend and all.

No, the ones I was talking about aren't peanut butter. They're made out of molasses. Finally found an image...they're made by Allan, so they may be just a Canadian thing:

It's mind-boggling that I'm even thinking in these terms, but... The Senators are only seven points up on ninth place right now.
-
OK, then things are a lot worse than I was thinking earlier. We basically have two weeks to get this draft finished.
-
I wonder about that. He's basically a statue at this point. I just don't see him lasting in the league much longer.
-
I'm not sure those games count...Krankor, can you tell us whether this is the case?
-
I'm starting to worry that the pace is slowing down too much.

I'm usually not very happy to see a Bronco leave and sign with the Raiders, but I'll make an exception this time.
-
I'll grab Olympic Stadium. (Edited from The Ex...the Big O seemed more appropriate for my team name.)
-
Washington did resign Collins. Green hasn't signed anywhere yet.

Tiny Toons and no Animaniacs? For shame.

Another terrible candy I just thought of...remember those molasses chewy candies you used to get at Halloween? Those were the worst. Every year, I'd be stuck with about 20 or 30 of them at the bottom of the bag around January when all the other candy was gone, and end up just tossing them.

I've never been able to find the entire match on YouTube, but the match between Randy Savage and Dynamite Kid at the Wrestling Classic in 1985 is legendary (if criminally short -- Dynamite/Macho went 6 minutes, and they gave Macho/JYD nearly 20???). Here's a clip of the finish:

That shocked me when I heard about it this morning. "Angel Eyes" was on the radio constantly when I was in high school.
-
I remember that one. I also remember the Wendy's commercial (one of the better skewerings of a competitor I've seen), but never put two and two together until now.

Good for him. Too bad that he decided to retire after what has to be considered one of the very worst games of his career.

I win the thread: This gum tastes like soap. That is no exaggeration. In fact, it is so well known for tasting like soap, the company that makes it now markets it by stating on the package, "It STILL tastes like soap!" Incidentally, regarding the Creme Eggs, I have no doubt that if Cadbury made Creme Eggs year-round, I would weigh 400 pounds within two years.

Oh man, I bet you were bummed when that happened. I never said it had to be in your lifetime. -

My answers: Senators -- The last-minute loss to New Jersey in 2003 was pretty heartbreaking, but I'm going with the game seven tank job against Toronto in 2004, when I realized that this team will NEVER beat the Maple Leafs. Blue Jays -- I'll go with the final weekend in '87 as well, although seeing a supposed playoff contender win only 67 games in 2004 for no good reason is up there. Lakers -- Magic Johnson's retirement. Broncos -- I could say it's the 55-10 Super Bowl loss to the Niners (although they were clearly outmatched before the game even started) or the blowout AFC title game loss to the Steelers three years ago at Invesco, but losing to San Fran in the season finale two years ago, at home, being favoured by 11, where they made the playoffs if they won, and then having their young emerging safety murdered that night is my choice. -

Next question: What do you consider to be the worst moment and/or lowest point in the history of your favourite team(s)? -
One of my favourite shows as a kid (and I was actually a kid when it premiered):
-
I was wondering about that. The camera angle didn't really show whether someone got a piece of the ball.

This one I like just for the moose wandering all over town.
