Well I'm logging on from my parent's house with some update. -All stores have closed for the most part. The gorcery stores shut down at 1PM today. -People are running out of gas in a hurry. Going to the store again today, we saw at least 15 cars stopped on the side of the road due to empty tanks. A lot of the tanker trucks with gas are stuck in the traffic and cannot get to the heavy congested areas to fill the gas stations. A lot of stations are totally empty and are closing, stating they will not get any more gas until the hurricane passes. They had people on the news this morning at 3AM filling anything they could with gas (big water cooler water tanks, gas cans, milk jugs...basically anything that could hold fluid) -Most people in Houston are trying to head north to Dallas, San Antonio, Austin and are becoming very unsucessful. For a 30 minute drive to places, it is taking 3 hours to get to where you need to go. Some have tried going to Louisania but that might not be the safest place since the storm could turn and head to Lake Charles or NO depending on what the pressure system does. I am in a flood area, but high enough up that none of my possessions should get flooded out. My only concern was my car which is why I got out when I did. I left at 5AM this morning just to avoid any traffic that there could be on the back roads (since people were calling in the road stations and telling people alternative roads to take to get to certain places) We have limited cell phone use since there are so many people in the area all on their cell phones. It is hit or miss if I can make calls from my cell phone or have people call me. I am able to get through on the land line here with little to no problems yet.

Didn't Merril commit suicide? That was the whole show when he was injecting the hispanics with BoboTox and he had Christian on the table strapped down. He cut Christian on the forehead and then looked in the mirror and said goodbye to himself and I could have sworn he killed himself with Christian still tied to the table. Ava is returning from what the writer/creator said. Her character was a hit and she will be back for Seaon 3.

That's my feeling about being on the north side. We are far enough away that we'll probably get flooding like we did with Allison. That would be the only reason I'll head up with my parents in The Woodlands just to avoid my car being flooded out. But like you said, the media here isn't helping. I'm not saying this storm isn't bad but the media is blowing it way out of proportion. Oh well, it least I don't need to go to the store.

People here are in panic mode. My father said all the grocery stores are out of water and canned goods and I had to get my prescriptions at Walmart today and you would have thought it was Christmas time. Parking lot was jammed, the lines were all the way to the back of the store. Carts were filled with bottled water, canned goods, paper products and batteries. I honestly don't think it'll get really bad just because we are further north, but whatever. I'll do whatever I need to so I don't get bitched at.

Now the entire writing staff knows but is under strict orders not to disclose The Carver. It is very protected that even the actors are not aware of it. They are only given the script they will need that week and nothing more. I believe it's either Matt or Ava. Ava will also be back. Julia opens up a store with Liz and Gina.

From what I have read about Season 3 is the whole season revolves around The Carver. In the last episode of the season we will find out who The Carver is and from what the creator said it is someone we know. Just from reading the notes, it seems to be a good looking season with alot more sex.

CNN says they've reached the legal limit the building can hold as per the fire code. Wow. I hate to sound like a nerd, but imagine a crowd of poverty-stricken people the size of WM17 but possibly larger. How did this happen? I thought there were only 10,000-12,000 in the dome and they were the largest shelter around? Did they just start taking everyone who said "Oh yeah, I'm from New Orleans, can I have a room?" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To answer your last question, yes that is what people were doing. Officals at the Dome were told only people from the Superdome are to be allowed in from the buses. This angered people that came from NO instead of waiting with all the idiots that wanted to "ride it out" Problem is now alot of our shelters are at maximum capacity and shelters left and right are turning people away. Our judge is saying that they probably can only stay a month at the Astrodome due to the fact that Dome isn't equiped to handle something like this. The children can go to the Houston schools for one month, but that's it because the schools need record of all their immunizations to allow them to attend for a long period of time. We are being asked to donate whatever we can to them. I'm also helping a coworker raise money and bbq for all these people. They have raised over $2,500 right now and plan to cook all weekend.

I just got a new PC and want to migrate all my files easily. I have tried networking the two together but the old PC doesn't have the right driver (I guess) I'm not sure what I need, driver wise, to get this to work. I have the CAT 6 wire to link the two together but can't get it to go any further. Any help would be much appericated.

Tarantino also has come up with an original story for the episode, which is expected to shoot in early April and air May 19, according to "CSI" executive producer Carol Mendelsohn. Tarantino has long been a fan of the stylish forensic drama as series creator/executive producer Anthony Zuiker learned when he bumped into Tarantino at an awards show during "CSI's" first season. They have pursued him to direct an episode for some time, and after members of the "CSI" crew ran into Tarantino a few weeks ago while the show was doing some location shooting in Las Vegas, the stars finally aligned for him to helm the show's fifth-season closer, Mendelsohn said. "He knows everything there is to know about 'CSI,' and he is into the whole mythology of 'CSI,"' Mendelsohn said. "Quentin came in a couple of weeks ago. We had a story meeting with the writers. He had a great idea, and it was so much fun to have him in the room. . . . We are positively giddy." Zuiker, in particular, "worships Quentin," she added. Sara was sprung on Gil. Gil had feelings for her, but loved his job more so he turned her advances down. They have had and probably will continue playing their sexual frustration throughout the course of the show.

I believe that was the one were a young nurse and her doctor boyfriend were murdered in her house. Grissom takes very special interest in this case when he sees the victim looks just like Sara. The girl turned out to have been with alot of guys (mostly doctors) She collected gifts from all her suitors (all were some sort of butterfly item, since she loved them) In the end, they don't have enough evidence to get the older doctor who killed them both, however Grissom gives a speech to the guy to show he knows what this guy is thinking. The speech was about finding the right girl who can give them the world, but they choose their jobs over the girl; or at least Grissom did. He goes on to say the doctor choose the girl, but she didn't choose him and he lost everything. We see Grissom sitting in the room with Sara watching and listening through the two-way window.

I watched "Ellie" last night on CBS late night CSI: weekends. It'll replay again tonight as that is how they seem to do it.
