See you don't have to have any matches annouced for a Wrestlemania to competely sell it out. Let's consider the source here, WWE.com isn't really super-reliable when it comes to reporting. Also, believe me there will be seats released near the event because not every seat in the building was sold today, most but not all. Seconded, but with Maria while the body is fantastic, her eyes are what are the draw for me.

Canyon, actually. Couldn't the canyon be filled with sharks below

He's 11, but that wasn't the point of my question. My question was is the idea of getting a PS2 viable considering his big following is the EA Sports games
-
My parents are thinking of buying my little brother a new console for Christmas (since it'd be too expensive to upgrade his computer which he runs games on) . They think that getting him a PS2 is a relevant choice, while I tell them that the support from game publishers will dry up within the next year or so and that it is better in the long run to purchase a 360. Who is right?

Mike, I'd try going through the EDD

Don't get one. That'd be all well and good but when rent is close to 1,000 a month for what constitutes as a studio apartment and my income will be severely cut down because of getting a new job, I'll kind of need one.

The Hunter's Point area of San Francisco (where Candlestick is located) has been a "blighted ghetto area" for years and if it were to be redeveloped ala what they did across town with PacBell/SBC/Cingular/AT&T Park, it would help revitalize more of San Francisco back into a destination as opposed to the steaming cesspool it currently is. Additionally, I think there is enough blame to go around on this, York because he is a complete fuckhead for driving a storied franchise into the ground and Gavin Newsom, who is nowhere the type of get things done mayor that Willie Brown was and believe me if Willie was still in charge this shit would not be an issue. As for Sacramento, I hope they stay but if they decide to pull a Baltimore Colts and head to Orange County, I'll be the first one to welcome them all the while I give the bird to my hometown and its fucking moron people who couldn't see the benefits of a new building because Arco is showing its age.

That just made my day

Right Now music video? Two things I think of when I hear that song: Crystal Pepsi and High School Football games (Ced can back me up on the latter)

We should change this to the OAO Renters Questions thread. I'm finally moving out to go to school and I'm trying to find a roommate, what's the best way to find one when you know absolutely noone in the location where you're moving to?

I'm certain the lawsuit will not make the courtroom, either through settlement or the releases will be ironclad, which more than likely is the case. I saw the movie tonight, it was exactly what I thought, but goddamn was I dying.

The one thing I remember about him was when he did one arm pushups during his acceptance for City Slickers. RIP

Funny, I thought Eddie had given up music to finish his cure for cancer, except for scoring porn. My god he has to be one of the most batshit people in music, yet still a guitar genius.

Ed Bradley....Anyone Anyone

It's official Northern California cities don't care about sports teams. I wish people would see the economic benefits in building a new building, especially in SF and Sacramento.

Universal paid 42.5 million for the rights to Bruno, with half that going to production budget.

Actually, it was a smart move considering the early buzz that had been propigating the web and word of mouth had been cooling in the 2 or 3 weeks leading into the open. Fox, seeing this and not wanting to suffer the same fate that New Line did with Snakes on a Plane, made the calculated decision to scale it back which generated a good chunk of press, which reinvigorated the buzz and got people to flock to see this movie. It's a simple advertising principle by creating demand you will generate profit. As for my prediction from earlier, I stand corrected. I think had this lineup bowed on Thanksgiving weekend, my predictions would have been more accurate. I do still think Universal overpaid for the rights to Bruno.

Neil Patrick Harris, Content Gay Man Figured it belonged in here.

This seems like Yakhov Smirnoff's schtick taken to a radical extreme. I think Universal is going to hate themselves for shelling 42 mil for Bruno when this disappoints. Fox was smart to scale back the release this week considering the competition this weekend in Santa Clause 3 and Flushed Away which should take the weekend.

I was going to say Mondale considering he only carried one Fucking state, his own.
