It will be interesting to see if the Vic/Shane storyline goes the vein of Obi-wan/Anakin

Does sitcoms still/really have studio audiences?
Darthtiki replied to syxx2001's topic in Television & Film
Speaking from experience of going to a sitcom taping, they mike the audience and probably add some generic laugh track for better effect. -
Don't forget that Gomer Pyle, USMC was a spinoff of Andy Griffith Also Just the 10 of Us was from Growing Pains And I believe Sister Kate was spun from Amen

I'm pretty sure that Val Venis, Lance Storm, Mick Foley, Bradshaw, Jericho, William Regal and Kane are the most intellectual and informed wrestlers out there. Val Venis was always candid about his political beliefs, Storm has always been the smart guy, Mick Foley did the debate thing, Bradshaw's engulfed with politics and shit, Jericho has always seemed to be a news guy, William regal always seems to be smart as hell and Kane's a licensed educator. Don't forget about Trish who if it wasn't for a University strike would be a Doctor.

Best/Worst songs for commencments/senior sendoffs/
Darthtiki replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Music
Time of your life (Good Riddance)-Green Day I Will Remember You- Sarah McLachlan The Graduation Song- Vitamin C, this song especially because I swear to christ for the past five years since its release the stupid ass pop station here in Sacramento edits in graduation messages from seniors of the local high schools and literally you are made 10 points dumber by listening. I personally would like Social D's Story of my Life, Ball and Chain, Don't Take Me for Granted, or I Wasn't Born to Follow -
no i just hate the yankees

At least on my favorite teams: Packers: Owned by the people, can't bitch about that. Kings: After about 15 years of horrid owners, the Maloofs have made this team from the redheadded stepchildren to a eventual championship team. However, they need a new building, but some assholes can't pony up the land because they decided to get greedy and could force the team to move. Angels: Aside from the asinine name change, Arte Moreno gets it. He may let fan favorites go (Glaus and Eckstein) but he will bring back some value. Hell first thing he did was lower beer prices, can't go wrong with that. Dodgers: My beloved boys in Blue...FRANK MCCOURT IS A FUCKING DOUCHEBAG! The Boston parking lot attendant, who after purchasing the team from News Corp, (who by the way kept ticket prices down as well as finally put together a solid roster) said he was committed to winning managed to go in one season from a playoff team for the first time in almost a decade to dismantling into a cellar dweller save for Gagne who is now the franchise. In closing I can sum it up in one phrase: FUCK YOU FRANK MCCOURT, TAKE YOUR BROKE ASS AND YOUR FLYING MONKEY DEPODESTA BACK TO BOSTON. I'm done now

Angel Stadium, Dodger Stadium, Fenway, and sadly Yankee are the best in the MLB, though they should have kept Pacific Bell Park even after the SBC merger since the Stadium sits on the bay which is a gateway to the Pacific. Lambeau and Soldier best stadium names in football.

Wasn't there the storyline about one of the blonde bitches getting beaten on by her boyfriend too

Garbage- Saw a clip on Mtv News' coverage of the '96 Movie Awards and went damn I don't care if they suck the lead singer is hot. Then I caught one of the 30,000 replays and saw Shirley belt out Only Happy When It Rains and then I was completely hooked. Social Distortion- Heard I was wrong on the radio back in'96 and liked them, they disappeared off my radar for a few years until I picked up their Live at the Roxy cd and then I was hooked on their fusion of old school punk, rockabilly, and country.

Jesse singing, "I'm so excited" while Zack tries to hug her....the funniest shit I had ever seen, especially knowing it was supposed to be serious. Man, those were some innocent times, when the hardest thing you could get on was No Dose. I'M SO EXCITED! I'M SO EXCITED! I'M SO....SCARED!" I couldn't stop laughing for the rest of the episode. It's classic bad overacting. really...i was embarassed FOR her. But then came Showgirls and do I need to finish. Also Step By Step had a few very special episodes I think. Of course none of them involved the Code-man beating the shit out of some girl.
