Fargo - 10/10 Sound Of Music - 10/10 A good day for movies with me.

Holy shit, that better not be a typo. Could someone besides me actually like Psycho 2 better than Psycho 1? Psycho is nothing compared to its sequel. Who in their right mind considers Hitchcock to be better than Richard Franklin?

It goes down. How many times do I have to say it!? There is little to no spiralling!

What an interesting translation: Brave men of Quisqueya, Let us sing with strong feeling And let us show to the world Our invincible, glorious banner. Hail, O people who, strong and intrepid, Launched into war and went to death! Under a warlike menace of death, You broke your chains of slavery. No country deserves to be free If it is an indolent and servile slave, If the call does not grow loud within it, Tempered by a virile heroism. But the brave and indomitable Quisqueya Will always hold its head high, For if it were a thousand times enslaved, It would a thousand times regain freedom. -

wrong flag if you want to be the Dominican Republic. Bloody hell. Dominican Repubic! -
Limahl - Neverending Story Somehow this song was not nominated for Best Song at the Oscars for 1984. Neither was anything from Purple Rain. Worst of all, I Just Called To Say I Love You won. Yuck.

The Western Suburbs of Sydney here. And yeah, toilet water kind of just goes down, I never notice it spiralling much. Draining water yes, I've noticed its clockwise nature, but never before have I noticed such a thing with toilets.

Dominican Repubic! Isle of beauty, isle of splendor, Isle to all so sweet and fair, All must surely gaze in wonder At thy gifts so rich and rare. Rivers, valleys, hills and mountains, All these gifts we do extol. Healthy land, so like all fountains, Giving cheer that warms the soul. Dominica, God hath blest thee With a clime benign and bright, Pastures green and flowers of beauty Filling all with pure delight, And a people strong and healthy, Full of godly, rev'rent fear. May we ever seek to praise Thee For these gifts so rich and rare. Come ye forward, sons and daughters Of this gem beyond compare. Strive for honour, sons and daughters, Do the right, be firm, be fair. Toil with hearts and hands and voices. We must prosper! Sound the call, In which ev'ryone rejoices, "All for Each and Each for All." Dominica: Home Of The Free And The Brave. -
Monsters Inc: 8/10 The first time I saw it I loved it, this was my second and it wasn't quite as enjoyable, but it's still a pretty good kiddies flick.

Quite possibly the thing I least expected.

What about if they add Benjamin, make it a four-way? In a way it makes sense in storyline terms as Benjamin has bugger all to do and beat the guy who supposedly has every right to be in the title match, thus surely Benjamin has every right to be in the title match. But on the flip side it's a little early to put Benjamin in the title match and it will be a big push just out of the blue. But I have no idea what else they can do with him. He should be in some feud with Evolution, but HHH has the World Title match, Orton has Foley and to put Benjamin in a Tag Title match would be counter-productive. What can they do with him?

I say leave Booker/RVD for Summerslam. Until then have Booker just beat all the Smackdown midcarders so as to prove how much Smackdown sucks, finally meet Cena at the July PPV for the IC Title, where Booker wins it. The whole time RVD's telling Booker Smackdown's really not bad, but after Booker wins the IC Title RVD says he's had enough of Booker's cockiness and that his sympathy for him is alienating him in the locker room, so he's going to take it away from Booker. Thus Booker can be built as a strong midcard heel and RVD can win the IC Title and they can see if he can get any respectability. I know it'd never happen, but it seems like good booking to me.

My local Music TV Station is counting down the greatest songs of all time so I'm listening to that: 66. Fleetwood Mac - Don't Stop

Yes, say they have HBK/Benoit as a Ladder Match, Orton/Foley as Hell In A Cell and Jericho/Christian as some interesting stipulation, I think people would pay to see it.

I always ignore it. Worst time this ever happened for me was when I was seeing Return Of The King, when Frodo kissed Sam, this stupid kid behind me who had no idea what was going on for the entire movie and kept asking questions to the parents and began kicking my chair...anyway, they asked the other stupid kid next to them "Are they lesbians?" to which they replied "No! That one's married!" I would have turned around and told them to shut up had I not been laughing so hard.

Yup, Israel is as Bad as Palestine about Terrorism
spiny norman replied to a topic in Current Events
As far as I'm concerned the extremists of either side are as bad as the other. The attacks from the Israelis that have killed innocent Palestinians are just as bad as those from the Palestinians on the Israelis. Yes, there's a Palestinian suicide bomber, but to ignore the fact that there has been mass deaths of innocent Palestinians by Israelis is bloody obstinate. It's a cycle of violence: a Palestinian attacks Israelis, an Israeli attacks a Palestinian and so on. Don't be so close-minded as to act as if one's attacks are as justified as the others. Unfortunately it will go on repeatedly until all Israelis/Palestinians are killed or have escaped. Not all Palestinians are terrorist extremists who wish to kill all Israelis. And not all Israelis are really nice people who are just hard done by. The situation is not that black and white. -
I've gone through about 4 Kleenex's already.

I've heard rumour that Lucas is not planning on killing off Jar Jar. If this is the case, I guess it is true that he actually has lost his mind and touch with what the fanbase wants. Star Wars Episode Three: Force Boogaloo.

While Banky usually never bothers me, his post in the General Chat version of this thread bothered me: As someone who has lost three cats being run over I find such a comment downright disgraceful and offensive. I wasn't going to bring it up, because you're likely to be a dick about it, but that's one of the most disgusting things I've ever read on this board. If you don't understand people's love for their pets, then fine. But to say that if the opportunity arose you wouldn't go out of your way not to kill something which people love just because you can't be bothered or whatever, that's downright sickening.
