Who should they be? Believe it or not it's just me!

I picked Purple Rain too, just because it is just so definitive. While I probably find 1999 the most enjoyable, I think Purple Rain is his best album. Prince is touring. I would know this because I saw him on his third concert of the tour in late October. I have no idea where he is now, but I know he is touring.

Actually, it was called "One Of Us", not "Was One Of Us". There was an awesome cover of it by Prince. I recommend all and any to download it or find some means of listening to it, as it absolutely creams the original.

I agree that it was partially Jericho's fault. But what a lot of people have against Orton is the fact that he immediately went and repeated it, which drew a lot of attention. Though that also can be partially attributed to Jericho, as he could have dropped the Walls, and get ready to turn around to confront Orton only to be RKO-ed for good. But yes, I think I'm a bit torn in who to blame, and so have decided to not particularly care and get over it.

Interestingly, earlier today I was walking in the garden and stepped on a thorn and am still in immense pain. How's that for karma?

Pet Sounds is a classic and is #1 of those listed. My second pick would be Grace, and now I see nobody has voted for it which makes me wish I had have voted for it instead because it deserves at least one vote. I never got the big deal about Radiohead. And The Cure are awesome.

Sable, Goldberg, Triple H Make 'Most Annoying' Lis
spiny norman replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Himmler and Stalin? For starters, they didn't really bother me in 2003, but the fact that anyone can top them is downright stupid. And if they're on it why isn't Hitler? And what the hell is Princess Di doing on the list? She's dead and wasn't anywhere near as evil as Charles. And what did Chrissie Hynde do to make this list? I can't handle the bizarreness of that list. Too much of it seems to be just adding a random person in. -
I personally say Keep It because if we rid ourselves of it it's just a step backwards on the board. And in all honesty, once Hardcore Discussion is gone General Chat is going to instantly become exactly the same as HD is now. I say open registrations again, because with new people things can be livened up. As is we just have the same people posting the same things and contributing little over all and just the same feuds and whatnot. If we allow new people, the "circle jerks" will be broken up and the board could be spiced up a little.

That's interesting, because in Australia Raw is broadcast on Friday nights, and it was left in unedited. I wonder why they change it for people from the UK, but not for us?

I picked Warrior, but shouldn't Jeff Hardy be there somewhere?

True, I'm the most annoying person I know.

The first test: Points: 30 Our experts are please to report that you are a tolerable, if not pleasant. You should be proud of your annoyance rating (unless you lied on your quiz, then you're a complete bastard!) Second test: Your total score is: 45 Partially Annoying Bravo for being open minded and personable, but you often make dumb decisions in areas that you know little about. Although your improvising skills are weak, you deserve respect for your benevolence and occasional common sense. "The secret to not being annoying is the balance between courtesy and certitude," says Team Annoy tech guy, Keith. "You may have the desire to be kind, but you never let it shadow your ambitions." Being Partially Annoying may be something to be proud of if you care for sub par results, but Team Annoy suggests that you work harder to achieve a less annoying status. It seems I am progressively getting more annoying. Third test: Points: 49 According to test results, you've been branded "not annoying." But don't celebrate yet, this also means that you have no personality. Cheers! All true.

Not only did he put Frank Sinatra as Exceeds Hype, The Beatles are pure crap apparentally. No wonder he got banned. BTW, this message goes to all those who put The Beatles as anything other than perfect. Perfection: The Beatles Bob Dylan Bruce Springsteen Greatly Exceeds Hype: Metallica Nirvana Exceeds Hype: Michael Jackson The Eagles and any of those 70s easy listening rock bands who sound the same Blink182 and any of those 90s punk rock bands who sound the same Stevie Wonder Black Sabbath Rolling Stones from 1972 onwards. Acceptable: Madonna Prince David Bowie Elton John

I've always thought the quality in such a forum comes and goes in cycles (or at least felt it has in my time here). It has been quite good in the past, it's pretty bad right now. It will lift eventually (and yes, the whole "work the board" thing and then "why do you take this all so seriously, you loser!" is all irritating and stupid). But I think leave it there and give it time. Eventually it should pick itself up again. That said, why aren't new registrations allowed? I think they should be, because what we need right now are some new posters in that folder because that's half the problem. Hardcore Discussion can grow stale very easily if nothing new is added.

I'm taking it this is all sarcastic, but the question remains: Why would you bash The Rock or Triple H in 2000? They were bloody good back then (and their feud was better than Benoit-Jericho). So because of that I have no idea what this guy is trying to say here, other than perhaps Benoit is great and all those who were upper-carders when he was a mid-carder were nowhere near as good and were holding him down (which is really not the case with The Rock, the guy jobbed to anyone).

WWE Notes: Steiner, Triple H/HBK, Rumble
spiny norman replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
I don't know if it's the ending which is detracting so many people from that match. If you recall The Rock-Mankind from way back was a LMS match which ended in a double countout. While it was a bit of a pissy ending (and it's nice to see they've learned from the reaction to that) it is still seen as a fairly good match because the build to that double countout was good. HHH/HBK, well, nothing really happened. That's why it was a disappointing match. More than the finish. -
Most recent reports show that intelligence developed the theory of WMDs during the act of making love. They convinced Bush he could no longer sit back and allow Iraqi infiltration, Iraqi indoctrination, Iraqi subversion and the Iraqi conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

I had never heard this saying before until that thread in question. Now that my wondering of what it meant has been answered with "bugger all" I have to say it is an incredibly stupid saying.

I thought Chave was heel from long ago. He has certainly been growing more aggressive to posters in recent memory. That said, I can not buy into a heel who has any reference to the awesome sequel of Breakin' in their name. Similarly, the fact that he is also Eddy Grant makes it difficult to dislike him.

Even if it was an original screenplay, the award is Best Original Screenplay, not Most Original Screenplay. I could write some screenplay about a flying capsicum which kidnaps dogs and turn them into turnips in order to ally those turnips (who are a common ally of capsicum after all) in order to win their war against tomato and lettuce everywhere. However, due to disgust from dogs by being turned into turnips against their will, they employ the Grim Reaper to kill the flying capsicum but it betrays the dogs and every living thing on earth simultaneously combusts. It is original, but it is not good. Lost In Translation may be less original, but it is better.

It is incredibly hot here. I had a heatstroke the other day. Should I envy you people or should I gloat?
-
Yes, I really thought that didn't add up. Plus what Mario said didn't sound like a confession at all, that's why my reaction was of confusion. If that's what you were insinuating Rico in your two seemingly unrelated quotes, I think you are wrong.
-
Huh?

Oh. Should I be going then?
