When did he admit to being a PBP? And which one?
-
Why did he get banned? For post whoring (eg. like he did here)?

David Bowie - Rock 'N' Roll Suicide I know a few people who dislike Bowie. I believe they must have never heard this.

Lost In Translation is one of my favourite movies ever. And I've seen a respectable amount of them.

What bothers me is that City Of God is nominated for such a large amount of awards, enough to warrant it getting a Best Picture nod, yet it isn't even nominated for Best Foreign Film. That's the bizarre thing. And you're all mad if you think Sean Penn was better than Bill Murray.

Matt Morgan injured at Smackdown house show...
spiny norman replied to Placebo Effect's topic in The WWE Folder
I have to be somewhat in agreement from the guy who posted last. It is impossible to put the blame on either guy because we weren't there, we don't know the situation. Perhaps Holly stuffed up. Perhaps Morgan stuffed up. Perhaps it was a pure accident which nobody could have foreseen coming. I suggest we wait for more information before jumping to blame at someone. -
I dunno, I think Scarlett Johnson's performance was not memorable enough for the Academy to give her a nomination.

WWE Online Poll
spiny norman replied to A Guy Who Injects Heroin Into Kids' Eyes's topic in The WWE Folder
Current results: Benoit winning: 29.60% Foley returning 15.51 % The Cat dancing 9.31 % Undertaker gong 45.56 % Exactly the same. -
I am guessing Spike Dudley is out though, with the whole injury thing, and they'll replace him with Undertaker.

As an Australian, I have to say the Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi thing really pisses me off. I know I'm one in twenty million, but it is just so overdone. It really began during the Olympics, because I live in Sydney near the stadium, every train station I was at people would start shouting it. It's really got on my nerves and I've hated it ever since. There's my rant. Australia Day is tomorrow, and I have to do a service, so if anyone shouts that out they will be subjected to a death stare from me.

Interestingly, I haven't watched WWE since about December 2002. I began watching on Raw this week, and I watched Smackdown too, and I'm beginning to think of maybe ordering the Rumble (my first PPV since Survivor Series '02). And then this article comes along. I must be a bandwagon jumper.
-
I'm just curious, how many MB would watching the live feed take? A Gig? More? Less?
-
I think he is a lot of people's favourite wrestler of right now (though not mine) and becasue of that people are naturally rooting for him. He does have a good possibility of winning the Rumble, I'm picking him to be the winner, so naturally everyone who thinks he is the best wrestler going around (I can't think of many people who call him the best ever though?) is excited. Triple H almost always wins, and so they don't want to see their favourite lose to one of their least favourite. Fair enough. I don't particularly agree with any of his article. I mean, if someone is as worked up as whom he describes, then yeah, get out a little bit. But I can't think of too many people who will boycott the company should Benoit lose. I think he just wrote the column to get a rise out of people, and it's working.

Chris Benoit. In all seriousness, probably The Hurricane or Tajiri or someone like that. And there's my 800th post. How quaint.

Rene Dupree 12. Matt Morgan 13. Booker T 14. Matt Hardy 15. Kurt Angle 16. Shelton Benjamin 17. A-Train 18. Ernest “The Cat” Miller 19. Tajiri 20. John Cena 21. Test 22. Rhyno 23. Undertaker 24. Mark Henry 25. Scott Steiner 26. Rikishi 27. Rob Van Dam 28. Randy Orton 29. Bradshaw 30. Goldberg Order Of Elimination: 1. Rico 2. The Hurricane 3. Charlie Haas 4. Nunzio 5. Big Show 6. Christian 7. Billy Gunn 8. Rene Dupree 9. Matt Morgan 10. A-Train 11. Ernest "The Cat" Miller 12. Tajiri 13. Matt Hardy 14. Shelton Benjamin 15. Test 16. Rhyno 17. Booker T 18. Rikishi 19. Scott Steiner 20. Okay, my order: 1. Chris Benoit 2. Christian 3. Charlie Haas 4. Rico 5. Big Show Big Show eliminates Rico, gets the other two heels to help him work against Benoit. 6. The Hurricane Rushes to Benoit's aid, is eliminated. 7. Nunzio 8. Chris Jericho Jericho goes in, eliminates Charlie Haas, Nunzio and Big Show. Christian is left attempting to eliminate Benoit, draws Jericho over for help, but Jericho eliminates Christian instead. Jericho and Benoit make an alliance to be the final two. Christian goes back in and lays them both out. 9. Billy Gunn Comes in with a massive, grandiose entrance. After a while and the announcers putting this over as such a huge return, he goes over to Benoit, who is easy pickings to eliminate, but Benoit fires back and knocks out Gunn. 10. Kane 11. Renee Dupree Kane beats the hell out of Benoit and Jericho who can't get one-upmanship on him. Dupree enters and tries to attack Kane, but Kane eliminates him. 12. Matt Morgan 13. Booker T 14. Matt Hardy 15. Kurt Angle The heels dominate the faces. The faces get a brief moment of being on top with Booker, but that is cut short. Angle's entrance gives them the advantage again, as he eliminates Morgan. 16. Shelton Benjamin 17. A-Train 18. Ernest "The Cat" Miller Benjamin and A-Train give the advantage back to the heels, but Train and The Cat begin brawling and are eliminated together by Jericho and Benoit while they brawl near the ropes. 19. Tajiri Tajiri attacks everyone and is promptly thrown out. Kane, Hardy and Benjamin are still dominating. 20. John Cena Cena cleans house, eliminating Hardy and Benjamin. Cena, Angle, Booker, Jericho and Benoit unite to try and get Kane out. 21. Test 22. Rhyno 23. Undertaker With the entrance of Test and Rhyno the heels begin to dominate again. Undertaker comes in (in the place of the injured Spike Dudley) and disposes of the two of them. Kane eliminates Booker and goes face to face with Taker. The announcers put over big time how Kane's the reason Taker could get in, blah blah blah. The two brawl for a while as Benoit, Jericho, Angle and Cena get a breather. 24. Mark Henry 25. Scott Steiner 26. Rikishi Those three enter and everyone begins fighting amongst one another. Rikishi begins strongly against everybody and brawls with Steiner near the ropes and the two of them are eliminated by Taker. 27. Rob Van Dam RVD and Jericho eliminate Mark Henry together. 28. Randy Orton 29. Bradshaw 30. Goldberg In the ring: Benoit, Jericho, Kane, Angle, Cena, Undertaker, RVD, Orton, Bradshaw, Goldberg. Goldberg eliminates Bradshaw. RVD tries to do some crazy move and in the process propels himself over the top rope. Goldberg and Undertaker see Kane as their biggest threat and team up to eliminate him. They do so, but Orton sneaks up behind them and throws them both over the top. The remaining five fight for a while until Orton eliminates Cena. Final Four: Benoit, Jericho, Angle, Orton. Angle realises that he has to eliminate either Benoit or Jericho due to their alliance of sorts and so goes for the attack. He is about to suplex Jericho over the top rope when Orton attacks and knocks them both out. However, Jericho manages to land on the apron. Orton hits the RKO on Benoit and leaves him out while he faces off against Jericho. Orton has the advantage and is on the verge of eliminating Jericho when Benoit comes and throws him out. Final Two: Benoit, Jericho. The two pause when they realise they made it to the final two. After shaking hands, they fight it out for a good while, but it all ends with Benoit eliminating Jericho without controversy. Jericho congratulates Benoit post-match, and the show goes off the air with Jericho holding Benoit's arm high. Feel good moment of the year.

I recently bought the DVD for the first series of the show and just watched the pilot episode. I was wondering what people on this board thought of the show. I was really quite young when the show was first out so I've only caught a few episodes here and there and have never caught the whole thing in full. It is great to watch this with all its twists and turns, though disappointing also because I know who the killer is. Anyway, I was just curious as to the opinions of fellow TSMers on this show.

The first one: 1. Kucinich - 100% 2. Sharpton - 89% 3. Kerry - 83% 4. Dean - 78% 5. Edwards - 75% 6. Clark - 74% 7. Lieberman - 64% 8. Bush - 0% Well, that's amusing. Second one: 1. Socialist Candidate - 79% 2. Sharpton - 73% 3. Dean - 72% 4. Clark - 71% 5. Kucinich - 66% 6. Edwards - 59% 7. Kerry - 58% 8. Lieberman - 44% 9. LaRouche - 40% 10. Libertarian Candidate - 34% 11. Philips - 19% 12. Bush - 13% Well, the results from the second one are completely different to the first (aside from last place). Though I am horrible against Bush, it shocks me that after reading the lowest of everyone else is about 12% I managed to get 0. It seems I am more of an extremist than I originally thought.

My father has been on TV from time to time. Someone from my school hosts a Kid's TV show and has also guest-starred in soap operas and in a mini-series. It's actually difficult watching him hosting a TV show and knowing how he acts in real life at parties etc. and it makes me think of how un-innocent those TV hosts from my childhood really would have been. I was on an award's show recently, and so I have seen that. My sister was on a kid's variety show once too. Also, when I was about ten someone I knew was in an ad, singing and dancing about a car. It was quite amusing.

There were two seasons. The first season was just the pilot and seven episodes, so it's about the equivalent of one series, but there are two.
