We get these bastards everywhere in Australia: The Redback. We also get a shitload of funnelwebs: And every summer will find at least one instance of a huntsman camping in your house: They're probably the three most common.

Hey, like, this person was swimming and then got eaten by a shark. That will show them! Everyone knows that sharks are in the water, you'd have to be pretty stupid to go there! If a tiger mauled 50% of the people who posted in this thread, then we could have a giggle at nature killing off the imbeciles.

What!? Anyway, I agree with Metallica. And The Ramones are nowhere near as good as people make them out to be. They're listenable, but no more.

1. do any of you like and still listen to his music if so how often He was a tremendous artist once. He began to lose it musically in the 90s (even Bad has a few uneven tracks, Speed Demon for one, but Dangerous onwards is utterly terrible), but one can not deny the greatness of his earlier career. 2. what albums do you own and what is your favourite MJ album I own Off The Wall, Thriller and Bad. Off The Wall probably nudging out Thriller as my favourite. 3. What is your favourite song/Video of MJ Song would probably be The Way You Make Me Feel. I can't choose a video. 4. What if any dvds/tapes do you own if any (moonwalker, history etc) None. 5. have any of you seen him live (victory tour, bad tour, dangerous tour etc) No. My sister did, though.

I don't know what it is, as I love The Pogues and especially love that album, but I really do not like that song. A real let down of a final track off such a great album.

I know I'm in the minority in this, I always am, but the theatrical version of Blade Runner surpassed the Director's Cut. I can't ever think of a Director's Cut truly ruining a film, though added scenes such as the aforementioned French plantation in Apocalypse Now along with the interjection of Dallas in Alien as Ripley stands as the last survivor. Both jarringly ruin the flow of both movies, but I can't say they ruin the experience of the film for me.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is awesome.

Actually most critics and Springsteen fans consider BITUSA to be Springsteen's zenith point creatively, as after BITUSA Bruce bottomed out in terms of having he creative fire that fueled him from that rather lengthy stretch from Born to Run through Born in the USA and started going into a deep decline with him doing love songs and other music that only would appeal to the die-hard fans of his... People don't like Tunnel of Love? I'd say everything Springsteen did from Greetings From Asbury Park to Tunnel of Love was fantastic. I do admit he then fell into a massive decline, but I have never heard anything but praise for Tunnel. And The Rising was a fairly successful comeback album, I thought?

I noticed that too - excellent. I did quite like the book. Very story-driven, but not quite so as Order of the Phoenix. Probably my third favourite after OotP and GoF (I know everyone loves Prisoner of Azkaban, but I found it was not quite to the later book's level). I can't see how the final book can be less than 1000 pages long.

I saw it this afternoon. It was visually fantastic, but the storyline/dialogue was God-awful. I'd need to see it a second time to appreciate it visually and know to ignore the cliche of a lot of the action. Josh Hartnett's part was, in my opinion, ridiculous and unecessary. The only use of it was giving that fantastic zooming out on the opening scene through the city that led to the opening title. I have no problem with him as an actor, but I don't see why so many people raved about him in here. He had all of, what, six lines? All of the supporting comic relief characters (namely those with the illusions of eloquence and the Arrow Guy) were fantastic. Mickey Rourke was surprisingly quite good too, considering how terrible he always is. It was his best moment in film, I would say. It did feel overly long. Knowing that there were three stories, I thought it would all be over with Owen's story done, looked at my watch and realised we were only 70 minutes in and they were going to continue with Willis'. I think had they expanded two storylines rather than cram in three it would not have felt as long as it did. Anyway, regardless of my criticism, it is one of the most visually fantastic films I have ever seen and is the best cinematography I've seen in a film all year. Though not the best movie (that would go to the German film The Downfall which was utterly amazing). Very good but flawed.

I picked mine up this morning and am about 150 pages in. It's quite good so far, but don't like the fact that I read that spoiler. I figured it was probably pure speculation so read it, but with what has occurred so far in the book it does look to be possible. Definitely not going to click the link to page 609 (though my book only has 607 pages, so I have no idea how that works).
