Movies you've seen WAY too many times
spiny norman replied to Epic Reine's topic in Television & Film
I've seen Cabaret several times. Not quite certain why. Same with The Godfather: Part II and Gone with the Wind. -
Whitney Houston. An incredible debut album, but then she soon enough went to crap, culminating in the awfulness that was The Bodyguard.

This game is terrible. Partially because many of you have unbelievably awful taste, and partially because you are so repetitive. Three times in two pages someone has said 1983 only for the response to be Scarface. How exciting.

You could at least try to be consistent. But then you claim The Wizard of Oz is overrated, so I shall leave you to wallow in your own silliness. -
How about the William Wyler version of Ben Hur, compared to the silent version? Twelve Monkeys as a remake of La Jetee? Heat as a remake of LA Takedown?

It was a great match, undoubtedly. Duden's cheating in that Shootout really bothered me, though, and detracted from the match as a whole. The referee should have pulled him up on it and had the shots retaken. Otherwise, great match.

This is, without a doubt, the best thread I've ever read.

Your spelling of "sentence" is incorrect and makes no sense. It's pretty obvious what he meant when he wrote that. Don't be a smarmy pedantic prick about it.

Fuck off.

Nah. even more intelligent a response than I would have expected, fucktard. Mom was out of Nair, was she? You're rather hostile for someone I don't know. Are you another person who somehow became important on this board since I left? He's the necessary idiot.

I dreamt that Transvision Vamp had taken over the earth and I was part of this guerrila squad who were enlisted to infilitrate their moat-surrounded HQ and defeat them and bring an end to their regime.

People who don't shut the fuck up during movies

My worst experience was in Lord of the Rings: Return of the King when I sat in front of an Asian family. Only one of them had seen the previous two, so explained to the others every intricate plot point that had previously occurred. The young children sat behind me, kicked my seat, one got sick of sitting so decided to stand, leaning incredibly forward so I could feel her breathing on my head. With the scene at the end when Frodo kisses Sam, one kid turned to the other and said "Are they lesbians?" and the other went "No. That one's married". The only thing comparable I've experienced was in Titanic when, in the scene wherein they try to avoid the iceberg, someone shouted out "OH MY GOD!!!!! IT'S GONNA SINK!!!!" -

What a longwinded and, ultimately, disheartening discussion. -

I'm a big 10CC fan from way back. Though I would have thought most people would be pretty familiar with Rubber Bullets? It was a big hit over here, anyway. Agree with your assessment on the Bryan Adams-Supertramp scale, though I may drop them back to a strong 7. Not a big fan of Cry, though.

If you want to extend to Australia while going international to Canada then I shall gladly oblige to this thing.
