That about sums it up. The one and only drawback I can see (besides substance abuse which will occur with many things, whether legal and illegal) is that there is no reliable test similar to a breathalyzer but for marijuana. I'm all for legalization, but I don't want a bunch of idiots driving around stoned. And would there be open container laws like with alcohol? I don't see how that would work if they sell the stuff in packs like cigarettes.

For sure. I'm nothing like your stereotypical pothead. I wasn't even when I smoked often. I'm obviously "yay" for this. The only people who should be against it are those who are ignorant (watch, that term will be taken out of context) to the truth about marijuana and its positives and negatives, i.e. people who believe those "Above the Influence" commercials' propaganda. But I won't get into that now. I would get a medical marijuana card, but I don't smoke often enough to justify it. When I do smoke, I have plenty of Mexican friends with prescriptions of their own who will hook me up.

Does anyone know where I can find an ethernet dongle thing for the Wii without having to order online? Not including an ethernet port was really stupid of them.

Did you really read it? I said that the PS3 won't work with my 5 year old rear projection TV which does not display in 720p. It was either play the PS3 in standard def or return it. I chose option B afetr seeing how horrible PS3 games looked in standard. Thanks for the recommendations, you guys. I know all about Animal Crossing, since I was hooked on the previous 2 incarnations. To preface this, a year ago, my friend brought over his PS3 and it wouldn't display. I have a 5 year old 1080i RCA rear projection TV; no HDMI. I bought a PS3 tonight. I also purchased some 3rd party component cables. However, I can only get the system to output with A/V cables in standard def. The component cables have inputs for the Wii and 360 as well. I tried the cables with the 360 and got a perfect HD signal, yet everything's black with the PS3. What the hell is wrong? Why won't it output in 720p or 1080i? Would an HDMI to DVI adapter work?

Well, fuck me running. Best Buy only gave me a $500 credit line for their card, so I can't even do the payment plan for a new TV. Thus, the PS3 goes back since it's (sadly) useless, and I'm getting a Wii.

I always wonder if I did something to make CanadianChris nominate and vote for or against me in tournaments, since I can't recall any interaction he and I have had, or if he's one of those people who defaults to using my name based on past precedent.
