Backtracking: one of the worst gameplay devices ever devised.

The Lakers and Bulls both won. The Lakers, rather than build a big lead and surrender it as usual, trailed in the first half and came back to win big. The Bulls did what the Lakers usually do, but didn't fully give up their lead, winning in Phoenix by a healthy margin. If the Bulls played like this every night, they'd be in a very good spot. I think Bynum will be okay. He'll miss a few games; nothing serious.

That was a hell of a finish up in Vancouver, but the Canucks still lost to the Wild, extending their team record home losing streak to 9 games.

Well, I tried watching hockey several times over the years, but I never understood it. It took multiple games with a friend explaining the rules, and even more of a factor was NHL 08 for the Xbox 360 which taught me rules as well as the names of players and etrms used in the sport.

I like it. I'm glad I got to see the T-Wolves last night for the first time, but the game was kind of boring. Lakers/Grizzlies and Bulls/Suns are both on TV tonight. The former should be a blowout. The latter will hopefully be a good game.

I saw this news several days ago, but (A) forgot to post it and (B) figured it was too early for a thread. I'm pretty sure I'll be purchasing this collector's edition, though. The normal CEs of Madden are $70 anyway, so $20 more for Head Coach seems like a good deal. What kind of features are you all hoping for? At the top fo my list is online franchise.

Problem is, I always run into some impassable area, whether it be a barrier or an unbeatable foe.

Yeah, as jwpeer said, it was a flagrant 1. But damn, a collapsed a lung... I like the Lakers and all, but that was a dick move by Bynum and he should get a 1 game suspension.

I saw the set list for the Metallica game a week or so ago. It looks great; much better than GH: Aerosmith. But as much as I love Metallica, their songs give me fits on Rock Band and GH. I still can't beat "One" on Hard on GH3, or "Battery" on Rock Band 2. Sandman's easy. I barely scarpe by their DLC on Rock Band. I'm not sure I could play this game on a difficulty higher than medium and make it more than halfway through.

He was playing with Houston for a while. Fisher hit a 3 to send the game into overtime tied at 93 after Charlotte missed about 800 free throws.

Apparently, DirecTV had a free preview of NBA League Pass from January 19-25. Tonight during the Lakers game was the first I have heard of it... 2 days after the offer ended. Speaking of the Lakers, they've cut the deficit but are still down 49-48 to the Bobcats at halftime. I had no idea Juwan Howard played for Charlotte until tonight.
