I haven't played Dragon Quest VIII, but it has received stellar reviews. If I didn't have so many backlogged games, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Supposedly, if you like old school RPGs, you'll love that game. There's a thread about it here, too.

I read about this at CAG a couple days ago, but didn't post it since some people were unsure of its validity. Toys R Us (starting today) has put the following games on clearance for $10 a piece. Your luck in finding them will vary because some stores were cleaned out when they opened, while others have been reported as having plenty of games. Good luck... A rainbow trout fished out of Holmes Lake in Lincoln, Neb., on Dec. 17, 2005, features a double mouth. I just got Star Ocean: Til The End of Time, and it has an extra DVD with special content as well as a couple new playable characters and such.

GR's pretty generous with their trade in credit. But even if I don't profit much, I'll probably get more than I paid for it. Hell, I traded in Psychonauts (Xbox) with no case a month ago toward my PS2 system, and I got $27 credit for it, when it was going for $30 new everywhere.

I just got back. As expected, most games I wanted were sold out, but I managed to snag the following: Doom 3 (Xbox) Star Ocean w/bonus DVD (PS2) Unreal Championship 2 (Xbox) Pariah (Xbox) I plan to trade in Pariah at Gamerush... Since it goes for $40-50 new at most places, I hope to get a decent amount of credit to put toward Animal Crossing: Wild World if my fiancee doesn't get it for me (which she will if it's not out of stock). If she gets me that, I'll use the credit toward a PS2 game, since I now have a grand total of 2, hehe. But hey, I still have yet to even open Burnout Revenge, X-Men Legends Part Deux, and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes from TRU's buy 2 get 1 free sale, so it's not like I needed anymore games.

I was just thinking about this earlier. War Games: Sting, Christian Cage, Rhino, & Team 3D vs. Jeff Jarrett, Monty Brown, Abyss, & AMW. Make it happen, TNA.

Supposedly, Valkyrie Profile is being ported to the PSP while a sequel is on its way for the PS2 or PS3, can't remember which. I'll go track down the article now.

The Allman Brothers Band was pretty good.

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within was all right. Resident Evil: Apocalypse (haven't seen the first) was actually pretty damn good.

Any word on why Orton jobbed to Taker? Because 99% of the fans watching wanted Taker to win? Why would anyone want Orton to win? Why would anyone watching from a kayfabe perspective expect Orton to win? Seriously? Unless you're a girl or a homosexual who likes Randy Orton's supposed pretty face why would you cheer for Orton to win? The only reason a "fan" would want Orton to win is because they're "smart" and think it's a good idea to push Orton because that's what the WWE is reportably going to do. And really that's stupid too becasue as we all know the WWE's booking is pretty horrible right now. Everyone agrees on that but yet the smark population as a whole generally wants Orton to win???? We're all sudden believers of the WWE booking system? We all believe Orton is the #1 wrestler to go to?? Why this sudden 180 degree turnaround? Let's face it. Even if Orton won last night the WWE would screw up his push. So even from that perspective there's no sense in having Orton win. Let Taker have his night. Let the fans be happy for once. If anyone was cheering for Orton last night out of smarkness than I must say I feel sorry for you as you have lost all perspective on what is to be a fan. Although I did feel that Orton winning would lend him some much-needed credibility, the main reason I wanted to see Orton win is because I have always and still do enjoy watching Randy Orton more than The Undertaker. It was that way in Orton's SD debut, it was that way when I was sitting at the Staples Center for WrestleMania 21, was that wayat SummerSlam and No Mercy, and it's that way now.

A mere 15 months after here smash hit debut, Autobiography, Ashlee Simspon will be releasing I Am Me on October 18th. Ashlee has been all over TV and awards shows, and she and her sister Jessica were recently profiled in an E! True Hollywood Story special. Come on guys... I may not have the Ashlee avatar and sig anymore, but I still love the girl. Maybe now I'll be able to see her perform live after missing her tour-opening shows in LA and Anaheim last fall. It's been that way for the last few years. Personally, I loved a lot of that music before it was trendy... If only I had kept up with my music composition, I could have capitalized in a big way. Maybe.

I've felt that way before, too, wondering how so many people could be so picky. But as this thread shows, we all have different tastes. I don't think Dixie is hot, maybe going only by her age group she is, but I wouldn't turn her down. Others feel differently.

She's attractive, but "hot" is an exaggeration in my opinion.
