I've always liked the Stroke... Just finished watching the tape. Tonight's show was very good. If they had a 2 hour show of this caliber on Monday nights, as much of a WWE loyalist as I am (14+ years and counting, rarely missing a non-PPV show) I may have to convert. That's not to say I'm not a TNA fan now, because I really enjoy the product on a regular basis. The last couple matches were disappointing, however. Petey won Ultimate X, which I didn't expect, but it was the result I desired. However, the match just wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be. To me, the 6 man tag with AJ/Dutt/Aries vs. Daniels/Shelley/Joe topped it. It wasn't a bad match, just not the 4 star classic I expected. Jarrett vs. Rhino was mediocre. I was hoping Rhino would retain, but I've been a fan of Jarrett's since his last IC title run. I loved him in WCW, and while I'm not a JJ superfan anymore, I certainly don't mind seeing him with the title. I just wish they didn't spoil it with the damn Genesis commercial. Overall, the show gets a solid 8 to 8.5 out of 10 from me. I've been recording over the same tape with Impact and Smackdown for a couple months almost, but I'm definitely saving and rewatching this one.

I don't care how old it is. I've been dying for another game in that series since Tales of Symphonia, my favorite RPG ever and one of my all time top 5 games.

That didn't happen to me, but my appearance is only one of the reasons I want to get in better shape. But even just in that area, I'm way too self-conscious to not worry about how I look.

If you mentioned itearlier, I must have missed it, but Dama, do you have access to OU's athletic facilities? I'm sure they have tons of great equipment.

I was planning in making a thread about this the other day. I know Dama made a similar topic earlier, but mine is different. I signed up for a gym membership on Tuesday I weigh 125 pounds at 5'8", last I checked. I used to be fat... I want to add muscle weight without gaining any fat. I have no set goal weight, just a general size I'd like to get to. What would be a good workout plan, caloric intake, and diet, from those of you who have some experience in those areas?

I picked this game up for the Xbox, seeing as how I loved the old Blitz games and the new story mode and Live play interested me. I played a couple games, and damn, I was disappointed. I really did not like the game. Then I tried the tutorials. They were tough at points, and Lawrence Taylor shouted more obscenities at me than my mother ever had, but after finishing, I played another exhibition game and I realized soemthing. This game is awesome! It has all the stuff from the old Blitz games, but so much more. Matrix/bullet-time like Clash Mode, dirty hits where you can snap guys' bones and tendons in half, hilarious player taunts and touchdown celebrations, and so much more. I had a hard time putting the game down, and that's just on 1 player exhibition mode. I haven't even started the season (since I have to create a team while on Live to use it online) or played on Live since it's down today, but damn, I love this game. I've never played the Street games so I can't compare the two, but for thoseof you who don't have this, I highly recommend it.

These changes suck, certainly, but it's ridiculous to not purchase the DVDs because of those reasons if you were going to buy them before. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that I'll have to buy the set AND a regular copy of WM21 since I want them all in cases... Heh, I still haven't seen the DVD version of 21 even though I was there live.

Simply because, although TNA may present better matches from time to time, I prefer WWE as a whole. That's it... just personal preference.

I like TNA, and I think that they havea great thing going with their replay at 9 PM on Monday nights, an hour after Raw ends. But there's no way in hell that I nor 90% of the wrestling viewing audience would miss Raw for TNA. Does TNA have better wrestling a lot of the time, at least since moving to Spike? Yeah, maybe But I still wouldn't miss Raw to see it.

I didn't know Dusty hada book, but judging by those stories, it's worth a read.

They do have some Dreamcast games... And you should know from posting at CAG that some people are morally against ROMs and emulators. I'm not, but some are, so I guess this service is for them.

I haven't read through the thread yet, but Taboo Tuesday's results looked atrocious, and that's coming from someone who enjoys pretty much every show. I may be the biggest WWE mark here, with the possible exception of Downhome. Cena going over, Flair going over, Smackdown going over... all good decisions. Batista winning was a no-brainer. Trish winning wasn't offensive, however, I did want someone else to win the Women's Title. I'm glad Rey got the win, but why the fuck didn't he pin Snitsky? Masters only had 1 career loss, to HBK. He shouldn't have jobbed here. Same goes for Conway. He was UNDEFEATED with his new gimmick. He never should havelost to Snuka. Although it makes sense from a mark standpoint for Kane and Show to be able to beat just about anyone, I wish that Cade and Murdoch would have at least gotten themselves DQ'ed. They needed to keep the belts a while longer. Finally, unless they're building to a Survivor Series rematch, it made zero sense for mankind to beat Carlito. CCC has lost just about every damn match he's been in on Raw. Literally. Unless the horrible results were offset by great match quality, which I doubt, this PPV seems to be the worst in recent memory.
