Holy shit. That whole 9th inning was an emotional rollercoaster. I had a good feeling when Podsednik stepped up to the plate, and bam... he did it. 2 wins away.

You can all thank my fiancee. She's a good luck charm for the Sox. She called me last Sunday, and minutes later, the Sox won the ALCS. She watched the game with me last night and they won. She called me tonight, and not 30 seconds later, grand slam. Okay, so maybe it's a coincidence, but as long as the Sox win, that's what matters.

I know. That's a shame, really. I just hope MLB 2K6is better than 2K5. I liked the previous 2K/World Series baseball games just fine.

The Warriors... I heard nothing about the game and have never seen the movie, but I was interested since Rockstar always puts out quality games and I heart beat-em-ups. Turns out the game is only 12 hours, so even though I hear it's good, I'll likely only rent it for now. Anyway, I'm headed to TRU soon.

According to something I read at CAG (not sure of the source, but it came from a Nintendo rep initially) the pink DS systems will be TRU and Target exclusive. I wish i hadn't bought a silver one... I wanted blue with mario, but those were sold out. I need more games, mainly. I've grown tired of Nintendogs, so I mainly just use my DS for Final fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls, my only GAB game.

Why the fuck are they wasting HHH/Flair, Stone Cold and Foley's returns, and an interbrand match on a PPV that nobody will order anyway because it's on a fucking Tuesday!?

My best story is from after a show. 'Twas a May 2000 edition of WCW Thunder from the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield, Illinois, 2days after Slamboree. He was a really nice guy, and told me about his site, Vampiro.net (I had just gotten the net 2 days prior). After speaking with him, I walked around the building and saw Buff Bagwell. I asked him for an autograph, which he politely declined. Several seconds later, 2 cops appeared, slammed him against a car, and cuffed him. Turns out he had punched out one of the PCCC or WCW crew, can't remember which. So yeah, I saw Buff Bagwell get arrested. That kicked ass.

I wish RoH would come to Los Angeles...

What the... How did I miss this? Can you tell me when he was in TNA so I can at least get a report of the show(s)?

We're supposed to get 3 new DS bundles and colors by the end of the year- a red racing themed Mario Kart bundle, and 2 Nintendogs bundles in teal and pink. I really want a pink DS. Purple would be preferred, but pink would be cool, too. I just wouldn't want to be seen playing it in public. As for Super Princess Peach, I've been dying to play this game for months now, and this new info has only served to increase my anticipation. I'll buy it the day it's released.

I know that, even though they are not Nintendo-sponsored, there aremore than a few gaming-oriented internet cafes in the LA area which support and encourage wireless DS multiplayer gameplay.

McDonald's attracts a much larger portion of the DS crowd (I.E. kids0 than does Starbucks, but yes, that would be nice. At any rate, this is a great idea. The DS has the most potentialof any system out there, something which I have believed since I saw all the DS stuff at E3. Playing those games there is what made me purchase the system. Can't wait for Mario Kart and Animal Crossing!

I don't know about the glitch you speak of, but the game doeshave updated rosters and adds a new Pennant Race mode (not sure of the details on that, though). Unfortunately, it is $25. Maybe you could trade in your copy of MLB 2K5 for credit to knock that price down a bit.
