*ahem* Forgetting someone, Matthew?
-
I just imagined Chad Kroeger from Nickelback taking a shit in a wicker basket while reading an upside down copy of Redbook.

Sorrow? I'm pretty much indifferent. I was simply curious, which apparently causes you much anger.

And likes it. ,.... Just kidding. But about the post after that, I have about 3-4 white friends who live around here. Most of my friends are Mexican and a handful are black or Asian. Not that it really matters.

Yeah, I'll admit it. Since Melissa left 20 minutes ago, i've been horribly bored. i figure if I talk to someone, I'll be less broed, and you may be entertained by my intoxicated state. So if any poor soul wants to talk to me (doubtful), my cell number is (951)966-2067. I'll be drinking whiskey, eating pizza, and watching some form of DVD. Shit gets boring once the girl leaves....

Since you're insulting me in every post and you're not Slayer, may I ask who you are? Just curious.

Haha. Who didn't see that response coming.

The gimmick is stupid, but I laughed my ass off anyway.

I'm a hopeless romantic who often cries (not outright bawling, but shedding a few tears) at the end of movies (*cough* chick flicks *cough*) or TV shows with sweet, romantic endings or when a character loses a loved one.

Has anyone else been affected by the fires? I just moved a few weeks ago to the outskirts of Moreno Valley (10 minutes from where I used to live) and yesterday, I could see thick black smoke on the othr side of a nearby mountain, and ash was raining down in our backyard. By the time Melissa and I left for the bar around 6 PM, police were diverting and guiding traffic on the small, rural roads by our house. It apparently got worse, as I was unable to return to my house and ended up staying at a friend's place. My mom said last night that there was talk of an evacuation. Hopefully things near my home have gotten better, not worse, and I hope that the entire ordeal ends as swiftly as possible so that no more people will risk losing their homes or their lives.

I got the album 2 days after release, never having owned a Coheed album, but loving the ones I have heard. The band was also great at the 2004 Warepd Tour. I must say, I am blown away by Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness (I just had to type that out once. The album is incredible, and has bested The Mars Volta and The White Stripes as my favorite release of 2005.

Well, in that case, I've already explained myself and it's merely a fact that I've been a fan since before they got good this season, so whatever. Bob, I understand your philosophy, but the fact that I exist and love both teams proves your statement to be inaccurate. Good to know I can go away for 3 weeks, come back, and have people like Slayer hate me from the start. I missed this board.

Thanks... I just found out myself. I figured maybe it'd be $20 since NHL 2K6 was. Maybe I can re-rent the game for now and buy it at the end of the month.
-
You may not have been referring to me, but I have had their flag in my sig since before the season and have been a fan since childhood. I haven't had internet access til today, though. Also, Bob, no. The teams play in different leagues. Tons of people are fans of both teams. I grew up with my dad's side of the family being Cubs obsessed so I saw lots of games, but I prefer the White Sox. I like them both- what's wrong with that? It's not like I claim to like both the Yanks and Sawx.

I'm hoping to buy this game in TRU's buy 2 get 1 free sale this month. I liked the first one a lot, but like many of my other games, it got lost in the shuffle and I played maybe 7 hours into it. I restarted and am trying to finish the first by the end of the month so I can get XL2 and experience the wonders of online co-op.

If 2K6 is $20, I'll buy it soon. If not, I'll try out both games and probably pick up the one I like better in TRU's buy 2 get 1 free sale at the end of the month. I hadn't expected either game to be out til mid October, despite seeing commercials, but to my surprise (no net access to find out) I saw the games at Hollywood Video on Saturday. Although the game has changed significantly in some ways from the E3 demo, I really like 2K6. After a game or two, I got used to the new shooting and stealing features with the right thumbstick and I'm loving the game. I haven't played online yet since I don't have a connection, but I can say that I'll probably never finish my 58 game season on 2K5 now. Oh, and to the guy who mentioned it, NBA Live '98 for PSX was the best.

Hey, I'm still here. I've been without internet access for 19 days, moving without notice and then having to switch from SBC Yahoo to Verizon DSL, which still isn't running yet. I'm on my friend's AOL dial-up. I called Kotz to get him to post about where I was, but I wasn't able to speak to him. Anyway, here are my picks for this week. Sorry for all the trouble, but there was nothing I could do. THURSDAY N.C. State FRIDAY Syracuse SATURDAY Illinois Michigan Texas Air Force Oklahoma State TCU Georgia Texas Tech Louisville Purdue Utah Texas A&M UCLA Ohio State Tiebreak #1: How many total points will be scored in the N.C. State/Georgia Tech game? 72 Tiebreak: #2: How many rushing yards will Syracuse's Damien Rhodes have against Connecticut? 173

As an Illinois native and lifelong White Sox fan, I must say hooray for a 2-0 series lead, and please, oh God, please don't choke.

I just received the September issue of Xbox Magazine earlier today, wherein Madden NFL 06 was reviewed. The game got a shockingly low 8.0/10. That's not a bad score whatsoever, but I expected more for Madden, especially with NCAA 06 getting a 9.1. I'm not going to transcribe the review now, but I may later. I'm just hoping the game turns out well enough to warrant a purchase. I skipped NCAA in favor of Madden since I want a pro game with online play. I haven't played the series since 2001, however, choosing instead to stick to 2K Sports football. With that said, I figured we'd need a thread about the game with the release date coming up in mere days. Have at it.

Does anyone know where I can purchase prescription drugs online without a prescription? I've found one site, but it requires you to sign up and pay for access to their "premium service". You see, the problem is that I have no medical insurance and just visiting the doctor would cost me $65 right now, and that's obviously not even including the cost of a presciption. I have back problems which will only worsen when I start wrestling again in a week or two. I would like to have some vicodin for that and for occasional recreational use and as an insomnia remedy. Does anyone know where I can order reasonably priced prescription drugs, like maybe from Canada?

My 21st birthday is coming up this Saturday. I've imbibed many an alcoholic beverage in my day, but mostly they have been random varieties of the cheapest sorts of hard liquor (vodka and whiskey) that could be found. I've had many types of beer, but I've always been more of a liquor guy. I'd say my favorite types of hard liquor are Southern Comfort and (while the "hard part is debatable, it's 30%) peppermint schnapps. Every Wednesday for the past 2 months or so, I've been drinking Budweiser at this pizza place/bar (Wednesdays are 40% off nights) and I'm enjoying that. I've rarely ever had any mixed drinks, though. What do you recommend I try on my birthday that will get me good and sloshed, but not too fucked up to where I can't enjoy some quality post-drinking time with the old lady?

So, I was talking to Kotzenjunge... Kyliejunge (10:48:24 PM): Hey, have you donated any money. X Matt Young X (10:48:47 PM): No. I don't really have any to spare. Kyliejunge (10:48:54 PM): I don't either. X Matt Young X (10:49:16 PM): I'm saving to move out of my parents' house, probably with Melissa. Kyliejunge (10:49:21 PM): Wha? Kyliejunge (10:49:28 PM): I'm saving to move out too. X Matt Young X (10:50:04 PM): We could be roomies. ;-) Well, there's that whole living on opposite coasts thing that is in the way... Kyliejunge (10:50:07 PM): Oh man. X Matt Young X (10:51:02 PM): Haha, you probably just died a little inside from me even suggesting such a thing. Kyliejunge (10:51:09 PM): Nah, that'd actually rock. Kyliejunge (10:51:23 PM): I'll bet internet buds would get along better than real buds moving in with each other. Kyliejunge (10:51:28 PM): Reality show idea, motherfucker. Kyliejunge (10:51:29 PM): Pitch it. Kyliejunge (10:51:35 PM): You live out there. Find someone. Kyliejunge (10:51:39 PM): I can get my stardom. X Matt Young X (10:51:48 PM): Yeah, you'd steal the show. X Matt Young X (10:51:56 PM): I'd look boring by comparison Kyliejunge (10:51:57 PM): Nah, IDRM and AoO would have fans too. Kyliejunge (10:52:04 PM): You'd be the straight man. X Matt Young X (10:52:10 PM): We could have them make guest appearances. Kyliejunge (10:52:14 PM): Piss would be the crazy motherfucker. Kyliejunge (10:52:18 PM): No dude, we'd have a houseful. X Matt Young X (10:52:44 PM): Ah, okay. A TSM reality show. Kyliejunge (10:52:46 PM): Yeah man. Kyliejunge (10:52:50 PM): Put it in HD. Kyliejunge (10:52:52 PM): Post the idea now. Kyliejunge (10:52:54 PM): I'll expand later. X Matt Young X (10:53:11 PM): What should I write? Kyliejunge (10:53:57 PM): I dunno, just post "TSM Reality Show Idea Thread." The first post would be saying who to nominate, where we'd live, etc. Kyliejunge (10:54:07 PM): Asking, rather. Kyliejunge (10:54:16 PM): See how fast I can think, even though I'm stoned to the fucking bone. So apparently we're going to do this on the board. I'm not uite sure what Kotz wants to do with this, but I guess we can start out with suggestions on who should be in ti and where the crew would live.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven: A time to give birth, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to tear down, and a time to build up. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance. A time to throw stones, and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, and a time to shun embracing. A time to search, and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep, and a time to throw away. A time to tear apart, and a time to sew together; A time to be silent, and a time to speak. A time to love, and a time to hate; A time for war, and a time for peace.

About a week ago, I finally played the demo of Burnout Revenge on my copy of Madden. I had skipped over it because I don't usually like racing games. I didn't even bother playing it at E3. That was most certainly a mistake, however. I fucking loved the demo. I played it a couple dozen times... it's incredible. I have totally been missing out on this franchise. I bought Burnout 3 last night for $20, and I love that game as well, even though I can't blow up after crashes. I'm going to be playing B3 for a while, and I'm not getting Revenge until the end of October when Toys R Us has their B2G1 sale. If anyone wants to play on Live, my Gamertag is MattYoung. I suck right now, but the game's still fucking awesome.
