Pretty entertaining first half. I missed the first 4 games since I didn't give a shit about the series and it turned out to suck just as I predicted (first Finals I've missed since I believe 1992, when I didn't watch regularly). Then, after seeing the end of Game 5, there was no way I could miss this, and things have been exciting so far. Even though I hate the Pistons, I hope they push the series to 7 games before San Antonio wins. I don't particularly care for the Spurs, either, but I've been a Tim Duncan fan since he was at Wake Forest.

Eh.... ESPNews, SportsCenter, Around the Horn, and Pardon the Interruption are still essential viewing.

Get a DS with a free copy of Super Mario 64 DS. It's well worth the $150, and the DS has a ton of good games coming out soon, which I got to play at E3.

We just had an earthquake minutes ago here in Riverside County, California. There was another one on Sunday morning, but for some reason, we didn't feel it at my house. This one shook the shit out of us, though. It was my first ever earthquake experience, and I was a little startled. Does anyone have any interesting earthquake stories?

I live in Moreno Valley, just outside of Riverside. I'm not sure what hapepned with the kidnapping/car chase. I was told about it, but I haven't watched the news. I doubt it's as entertaining as the chase from a week or so ago where the driver drove on the wrong side of the road for no reason and ended up crashing into a garage at the end of a cul de sac.

Yeah, I posted about this in general discussion. It definitely surprised the hell out of me, shaking my whole house. It was the first earthquake I've felt. The one here in Riverside county on Sunday morning didn't do anything to my house.

Yeah, I wasn't sure what was going on it first. For some reason, it didn't immediately register as "earthquake". I was just like, "Holy shit my house is shaking!" I was more concerned with the possibility of it being a sign the world ending seeing as, now that I am happy, something like that is bound to go wrong.

An EB Games June flyer has potentially revealed that the Nintendo DS will be sold with Super Mario 64 DS with no increase in price. This promotion is supposed to start June 12th, but it has not been confirmed yet, and is still just a rumor. An incredibly likely rumor, but a rumor none the less. We'll keep you posted. After the DS stole the show at E3 in my opinion, I've been dying to get one of my own, and the new electric blue color along with a free game only serves to sweeten the deal.

I really liked the game, seeing as how I'm a big beat-em-up fan and I loved the X-Men as a kid, but if the game didn't have the X-Men license, it would be merely mediocre. I still haven't finished it... I got 7 and a half hours in, but now I'll try to pick it up again and I can't get into it. I may have to restart it. I just have so many games I need to do that with, most notably Resident Evil 4, which may have been my answer here had I played more than 2 and a half hours.

I had been using SoulSeek to download music, but for the past few weeks, it's been taking 20 minutes+ to download a song that should take 30 seconds (I have a 1.5 Mbps DSL connection). Are there any decent programs other than torrents that anyone would recommend? I'm wanting to listen to some albums that are on sale this week before deciding whether or not to buy them.

Only 9 more days til I can pick it up... I've been seriously looking forward to this since the original was one of my favorite N64 games. I have the demo on Jade Empire to tide me over, but I'd love to hear any details you can share.

Although plenty of Xbox Live games are incredibly addicting, I would have to say my favorite game from 2003 on has to be Tales of Symphonia. It's probably in my top 5 all time, actually. It's an amazing anime-styled RPG for the GameCube that went under a lot of people's radars. It's $20 now, so if you like RPGs in the slightest and own a GameCube, you owe it to yourself to buy ToS.

I know very little about CM Punk, although I am very interested in seeing him work. Just out of curiousity, though.... what is the deal with the Pepsi tattoo(s), exactly?

I drink diet just because, with the amount of soda I consume (a 12 pack or so per day) the sugar and empty calories would lead to considerable weight gain if I drank regular. I'm a cafgeine addict, though, definitely. With that said, fruit flavored sodas rule. Diet Cherry Coke is great, as is Diet Orange from Albertson's.... But my favorite is Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. I have yet to try Pepsi Lime.

It looks like a relative of the thing from The Neverending Story which gave me nightmares as a child.
