Sonic Rush... That's the Sonic DS game I couldn't remember the name of. I played it on Day 1. I've never been a huge Sonic fan. I like the games, but I feel that they get stale and repetitive. With that said, I loved Sonic Rush. Using the 2 scerens for bigger levels was excellent, and the transitions were very fluid. It's probably the most fun I've had playing a 2D Sonic game, with the possible exception of Sonic 3 & Knuckles. That, along with quite a few other titles shown at E3, made me really want a DS. About my report for Day 3... I fell asleep due to extreme exhaustion after eating dinner last night. Sorry about that. I'll post my Day 3 experience and pics from all days in a short while. And yes, I was referring to Shigeru Miyamoto. However, my pics from Day 3 aren't uploaded yet and the camera software won't work with my computer, so you may have to settle for the 86 pics from days 1 and 2 for now.

Nah, I didn't see him. I did see and photograph an even bigger Nintendo employee today, however. Details will be in my (probably brief) report. Sorry for not being too informative, but I didn't play most of the games for long enough to provide any decent information. If you have any questions, I will try to answer them as well as possible. I'll be writing up my Day 3 report after I eat, but today was fairly uneventful, although there was one big thing that I saw. Also, I now have the pictures in my e-mail, so I'll be uploading them to my Yahoo Photos account for you guys.

After last night's events, I decided to create a topic where we can discuss our crazist parties or party moments. Some stories have the potential to be entertaining, I'm sure. My story about last night's party is only a slightly edited version of a PM I sent to supadupacheap, so I'm sorry if it's hard to read. My friends who won the official party house are getting evicted today, which is why we planned on one big, final bash last night. ------------------------------------------ For reference, the people who lived in the house are Kelly, Ryan, Josh, Melissa, and Travis. Melissa and Travis are dating. At first, it was just me, Kelly, Kelly's brother Byron, Josh, Lunchbox, and about 5 other people. We were playing some GameCube to pass the time until the womenfolk (hopefully) arrived, and after some Soul calibur, we threw in Donkey Konga 2, which had just arrived from Gamefly. Veronica (the girl I'm kinda involved with) and 2 other girls walked in in the middle of the first song, and we shut it off, embarrassed. For a while, everyone was having a good time, just doing the type of stuff people usually do at parties. We had the keg and a few bottles of hard liquor. I hadn't eaten all day and I didn't want to be trashed since Veronica was there, so I only had about 5 shots and 5 beers. Some people, however, got waaaaaaaaaay too drunk. Josh got trashed and got all pissed off, and he walked down the street and punched out a church window. He's so going to hell. He then came back home and, after punching the wall a couple times, backed up and rammed his whole ing head through the wall, so we could see into the kitchen. In the meantime, Connor had collected several palm trees from the neighborhood to decorate the living room with. Eric, this Mitsurugi (Soul Calibur) looking guy with long black hair, went totally insane at this point. (Yes, the girls were still there, but they were watching in astonishment). For reference, he once drank an entire bottle of tequila including the worm, went crazy, started yelling about how "Coronado and those fucking Spaniards took all the land" from his people, and he flipped over a table and broke a few things. This time, he took the palm trees and chucked them into the wall, not penetrating it, but making some bigass holes. I then headed outside for a cigarette, and right after that, Melissa and Travis showed up, with Ryan coming soon after. They were understandably livid, and a few fights almost broke out before Melissa called the cops, which freaked me out since I'm not going to be 21 for a couple months. Ryan wasn't angry, but he has a warrant out for his arrest, so he bolted. I managed to talk to the cops and they left without doing much of anything. Veronica and most of the other girls left . The remaining people had a few beers and relaxed, until Eric, who was super pissed at Melissa and Travis, decided to piss on their bed. As if that wasn't bad enough, there was a picture of Kelly's daughter on the bed which got soaked. Kelly had had enough, and kicked everyone out. So I arrived home at 3:30 AM, having not slept for 2 days, and I was pretty sober. The night may not have ended well, but I definitely have some memories that will last a while.

It's how people identify me here. This is where the comparisons started. That's why I mentioned Edge saying it. I'm not as bad as Dama, but I see your point. Now.... off to day 3!

Back in September, I started a thread about the original Donkey Konga which got about 7 responses. Hopefully this one will be more successful. I loved the first DK, and despite songs that seemed, well, gay, the game was highly addicting, especially with multiple players. This newest version has a more "contemporary" (I.E. MTV-centric) song selection, and although I haven't played enough to tell if it's better than the first, it is really good and was well worth using my Wal-Mart gift card on. Plus I got an extra set of bongos, which increases the fun factor exponentially since I don't have to take turns with my friends. Has anyone else picked the game up yet?

My report on day 2 of E3 may be short because I am tired and there wasn't a whole lot that I saw or took part in since I spent a fair amount of time standing in lines. I still had a wonderful day, but it probably wouldn't translate into quality reading material since most of you probably want to hear about the games. When I got in the door a little after 10 AM, Adam Sessler and my beloved Morgan Webb were signing autographs in the newly set up G4 booth on my left. Now, I wouldn't say I'm obsessed with Morgan Webb. I do have a picture from her Maxim spread as my computer background, but I'm not like that dude in the X-Play commercial. I have no Morgan shrine. I do, however, find her to be ridiculously beautiful and I want to marry her and make lots of babies, provided that pregnancy does not completely tarnish her stunning figure. *Sighs longingly* Back to the story... I was informed by a G4 employee that the autograph line was cut off due to them not being able to fit in anymore people in the 1 hour time frame. That made me sad. However, Morgan and Adam will be signing tomorrow, so I'll make sure to get in line early. I did get a picture from the side of the table, though, and it looks very good. From there, I went up the Zelda steps into whatever the hell that huge central area is called. I roamed around a bit and checked out the few new additions such as the Chronicles of Narnia exhibit which featured beatiful artwork and costumes used in the movie. I played a small portion of the Narnia game, but I couldn't figure out how to beat the boss I was fighting and I gave up. Next to that display was a HUGE model of Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas, so of course I had to snap a shot of that one. There was also a cool looking display for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3, and I photographed that along with the dude decked out in soldier gear "guarding" the front. I walked around some and took a few more pictures of random displays and booth babes, as well as some cool Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children action figures for Anya. I went to the Casino-styled booth for the game "Colors", and while the booth babes had to leave to go on stage, I did snag a free t-shirt. I then had an over-excited Japanese man take a picture of me with Spongebob Squarepants, which totally rocked. WWE Diva Stacy Keibler was set to sign autographs at noon. I was more intered in meeting fellow WWE star Edge, of whom I've been a fan since he was wrestling as Sexton Hardcastle in the Canadian independents. I got in line, and I ended up meeting Stacy. They were rushing people through the line, so everyone got a simple, "Hello/Thank you" and an autographed photo. Whatever. I got in line for Edge, around 12:30, half an hour before he was set to sign. I spent a while talking about wrestling and Star Wars: Episode III with some folks from Boston before an usher informed us that, due to her arriving late and Edge not showing up yet, Stacy would pose for quick pictures with people. Of course, I had to get one of those. After the photo-op, I circled the THQ booth in order to reclaim my place in line to meet Adam Copeland, AKA Edge. On the way back, I heard a familiar voice behind me. I turned around... and there was Edge with a couple escorts! I greeted him and he responded, and I walked down the hallway next to him, although he was talking over something with his guys. Once I got in there and got to shake Edge's hand, he was very friendly. A true class act toward the fans, regardless of his treatment of his friends. I got to shake the hand that fingered Lita. Now I've got herpes. Thanks, Adam. Just kidding. He signed and personalized my copy of his autobiography and threw in a signed photo on top of that. We posed for a pic, and I look like crap because my eyes were closed. The reason why is because Edge made me laugh. Here's how it went down: Edge: "You know, now I can tell all the boys on Monday that I got to meet a TV star at E3." Me: "What do you mean?" Edge: "Hasn't anyone ever told you that you bear a striking resemblance to Bud Bundy?" So I guess that makes it official, since Edge said it. I do look like Bud Bundy from Married With Children. After meeting Edge, I headed outside to make my daily E3 report call to my cousin and have myself a smoke. A black guy asked me for a cigarette, and when I went to hand him a Newport, he remarked, "Aww shit, man! Newports! Man, what you white folks know about Newports?!" I get that a lot from black guys. I don't know why they're so surprised in my choice of tobacco products, but at least they share my good taste. I headed back inside and explored Microsoft's booth some more, and I played a couple games of NBA and NCAA Basketball 2K6, winning both. Afterwards, while perusing Capcom's booth, waiting to try out Killer 7, a countdown clock next to some zombies caught my eye. When it reached zero, a video for the upcoming title Dead Rising aired. That game looks awesome! It started out seeming like another Resident Evil clone, but the main character engaged in combat with massive hordes of zombies inside a store, and had tons of creative methods with which to dispose of them. He utilized a head splattering bulldog (the wrestling maneuver, not the animal), a chainsaw, tossed a mannequine, and even ran over zombies with a lawnmower! I am so buying that game. Following that, I decided to go check out Nintendo's booth, but on the way there, I stopped by the Ziff Davis/1UP.com area. I never made it to the big N's booth after that. I was greeted by a gorgeous blonde girl named Amber, who just happened to be a member of the PMS clan for Halo 2. I, on the other hand, am a new member of KSI, PMS' arch rivals. I could care less about some stupid rivalry, so I talked with Amber on a variety of subjects and posed for a couple pics. She's a wonderful girl- beautiful, intelligent, sophisticated, and apparently damn good at video games. Her husband's a lucky guy. Amber introduced me to paul Gale, 1UP.com message board moderator, and he was really cool. Very nice guy. Around 4:30, the 1Up.com Members Only party started in their booth. They handed out free smoothies and cake. The cake was delicious, and had the 1UP logo on it, and I got a few shots. I was also in the picture of the cake taken by the site, and I had a segment filmed for possible inclusion on 1UP.com, asking what I liked best about the site. I had to bail out around 5:00 to catch the Metrolink, so I was unable to try out those Nintendo games. The only ones left that I still need to check out are Killer 7, Mario Baseball, Mario Super Strike (Soccer), and of course, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, one of my most anticipated games ever. It's just that the wait time in line is often 2 hours, and I had spent enough time in line already. I'll play it tomorrow, and get the free game logo t-shirt that Nintendo gives out to those who play. Between that and trying to meet the X-Play hosts, I'll be spending a few hours in line, it seems. Overall, not much game playing, but still a wonderful day by far. So wonderful, in fact, that this writing which I had intended to be brief ended up probably being longer than my day 1 post. Picture update- I took 38 more pictures for a total of 86, but neither of the computers at my house will recognize the digital camera I borrowed from my friend Lisa. I transfered my images from the capture card onto her computer, and she's supposedly uploding them to Yahoo Photos for me tonight, but they're not ready yet and I'm headed for bed. I will post them tomorrow, I can 99% guarantee you. At the latest, there might be a huge post of all 3 days' pictures this weekend. Well folks, that's all for day 2 of E3. I hope Miami destroys them. I like Shaq and D-Wade, and fuck the Pistons. I can't stand Detroit. The city is a shithole (I've been there) and the Pistons are one of my least favorite teams (Bulls fan).

E3's first day was an overwhelming experience. I was there from 11 AM-5 PM and never stopped having fun. I thought WrestleMania 21 was great, but this topped it. It was a literal gaming paradise. Almost everything I could possibly imagine was there. However, there were more than a few titles that I was interested in which were only shown in video form (including quite a few that were posted in this thread). I got to meet the almighty Seanbaby and Dan Hsu from EGM and got pictures with them. I also had pics taken of me with various booth babes, as well as a variety of shots of different displays. In total, I ended up with I believe 47 shots from Day 1 of E3. As far as swag, I only ended up with the official E3 Day 1 guide, 6-7 different magazines, a few coasters thrown out during Namco's Katamari presentation, and a shirt featuring the new True Crime game, which is an XL and is thus 3 sizes too big for me. Oh yeah, I got a card with my picture (taken in front of the 1up.com backdrop) and name from, you guessed it, 1up.com, and I got a "I <3 1up.com" necklace that lights up and flashes blue. I'll also be checking out the Tony Hawk demonstration and I'll be lining up for the autograph sessions with Edge and Stacy Keibler of WWE. E3's first day was incredible, and I can't wait to go back for the next two. The guy who hooked me up with the pass offered to register me for next year, so hopefully this will become an annual tradition. Just to let you know, this piece of shit digital camera software won't let me upload, so unfortunately, I won't be able to post pictures until at least tomorrow. I've spent 2 hours fussing with it already tonight. Sorry about that. I'll be back tomorrow with another update and, hopefully, pictures from both days.

I wasn't interested in the DS much at all, but the Wi-Fi hot spot they had set up for competitive play, along with Nintendogs and the awesome Sonic game in which both scerens connect to form one huge world make me want one now. I want to have one at E3 to play with people.

I'm going to line up for Edge's autograph signing tomorrow at E3 with my copy of his book on hand. I was considering bringing my Matt Hardy poster to ask if he'd sign it, but I'm undecided.

I played it briefly and liked it, but I don't know what Guardian Legend is.

I just got back from E3 a short time ago. Once I get something to eat (first meal of the day) and upload the pics, I'll post links along with a brief synopsis of my experience. Most of it can't be put into words. It was an even better experience than the greatness that was WrestleMania 21.

Purple's my favorite color. I chose to go with a hot pink 2003 Acura when I started my career tonight, though. It'll stand out, plus I can turn it into a Bret Hart tribute car. Now go post in my Forza thread.

I've always loved Nintendo the most, ever since I was a kid, but fuck stupid fanboy behaviour. All 3 systems will no doubt offer great titles, just as in the current generation, and I want all 3. It still seems too early, though...

My in game time is 40 minutes, but I've actually played for a couple horus due to having to quit and retry a couple races a shitload of times to finish them. This game is frustratingly realistic. You cannot powerslide, ride the rails, or go off track without severe consequences. Read some of the reviews at 1up.com and TeamXbox.com for more on the amount of detail that went into the game. The stock Jetta handles almost exactly like my friend Michelle's actual Jetta. It's scary. As I said before, I never liked realistic racing games, but I love this game. It's frustrating to no end how much I suck at it, but it keeps me coming back for more until I finally win, which is the sign of a great game. I haven't delved into the customization aspect yet. Christ almighty, Morgan looks hotter than ever. And so does this new Elder Scrolls game. I had seen pics in Game Informer a while back, but in motion, it's even better. I really hope they have some sort of playable Xbox 360 game(s) set up so I can try the system out within the next few days.

That fucking sucks. I hope they continue Xbox Live support for the original Xbox, so I can still play less popular titles online. Less than 24 hours til I go to E3!
