I don't see why Kotz and Flik deserve to be on the list. A couple months ago, I would have been a top vote-getter. Now I'm not on the list, nor have I been mentioned as a write-in candidate. Hmph.

When was the chat?

It's still too early to say that as far as I'm concerned. The Orioles could easily drop into 3rd place before long. They ar elooking good thus far, however. I'm not just trying to bash the O's either. I mean, look at the Dodgers after their great start. Also, I'm still more than half expecting the White Sox to go into a funk soon and concede the division race by the All-Star break despite only being behind by 5 games or fewer. Can't break tradition.

Holy shit. San Diego just scored 10 fucking runs in the bottom of the 7th against the Marlins. And after a solo homer by Adam Laroche just as I was typing that last sentence, the Braves extend their lead over the Dodgers to 4-2. All that combined with the fact that the Padres are only 1/2 game back of LA after winning 12 of 15, and this is not looking good.

I think anyone who has read more than a couple posts I've made here will already be able to guess my #1. I'm also expecting to read everyone else's lists and find at least one game on each that will make me ask, "How the hell did I forget that one?"

Sorry for the holdup. My list has been rewritten and sent.
-
You too? Damn, that's exactly what happened to me. Well, you already know that since I sent you a PM about it, but that's a very unfortunate coincidence. I was planning on rewriting and sending mine to you yesterday, but the whole day was just... chaotic. I'm sorry. I'll rewrite and send the list now. It shouldn't take long, but if I don't make the cut, I'll understand. My AIM name is X Matt Young X if you need that.

I could be wrong, but I don't think we're supposed to discuss these publicly yet. That's why he included spoiler tags. Then again, anyone could read his list and mention its contents anyway, so I don't know anymore. Anyway, I have my list finished.

Fuck, I missed that Dodgers game earlier. I'm really wanting to attend one of the 4 White Sox/Angels games in Anaheim later this month. Those will be the only 4 games the Sox play in Anaheim, and likely my last chance to see the team live for a long time. It'll also be nice to see my favorite team (Chicago) play in person for the first time. The only baseball games I've ever attended have been in Busch Stadium- Cardinals vs. Twins in 2001, and Cardinals vs. Reds in I believe 2003. Hey, cool. Upon further investigation, cheap outfield seats are a mere $9-12. Add in a couple bucks for the Metrolink trip, and that's a damn good deal for getting to see my favorite team and a little Vlad Guerrero on the side. Only problem is transportion home. The Metro stops running early, and I wouldn't have a place to stay. I may have to settle for a later Cubs/Dodgers day game.

I'm beginning to not enjoy any type of inebriation anymore. I'm still smoking weed a fair amount, but I feel that the negatives outweigh the positives these days. I love the body buzz and altered thought process, but I get all anti-social, tired, lethargic, and I stay drained for at least the rest of the day. Back in high school when I started, I'd spend my $20 in lunch money on a dub and get high all week after school. I loved it. I had all kinds of energy and wanted to go out and do things. I rarely, if ever get like that anymore. If I mix the bud with alcohol, fuggedaboutit. If I even do a little bit of each at the same time, I'm out. Alcohol on its own isn't even that appealing anymore. As late as last year, I'd drink every day, sometimes up to a quarter gallon of vodka (at 125 pounds) and I'd need it just to get through the day without hating everything since I was so depressed/stressed out. I'd also drink to alleviate boredom. I was lost without my liquor. Now, as I approach my 21st birthday, I rarely drink. I went from November (when I moved) through late January without drinking one bit, and even now that I've made friends and I hang out at the local "party house", I've only been drunk at most 8-10 times since. I don't much like the taste of the alcohol anymore, and I can never seem to get drunk enough to be happy without feeling sick. I can only drink like 7 shots of hard liquor at a time now, too. I'm enjoying the healthy feeling and clear mind that comes with sobriety, but I'd like to be able to handle and enjoy smoking and drinking again, especially drinking since I'll be able to get into bars in a couple months. As for other drugs, I'd like to do shrooms again (done chocolates twice), and acid at least once. Vicodin was fun and I could use some for my back pain, but I got up to 10 pills a day + alcohol fairly quickly, and it causes horrible sickness when one overdoses. Salvia... Tried it in Toronto, and it let me down. I'm seriously considering trying robotripping again. I'd prefer to take pills, but my first couple attempted trips, I took a whole box of Coricidin and nothing happened. I haven't tripped in ages, though, so one bottle of strong shit should do me well. What's the best cheap DXM to take? I don't want to spend much more than $5 on a bottle if possible. Well, with that, it's time to scrape the bowl for resin.

Why list a game you haven't played?

Damn ass bastard Jeff Hardy. Hmm. I don't know

I liked Papa Roach's first album, but their second wasn't too great, There were a couple good songs, but nothing spectacular, and the rap-rock thing was getting old. On Getting Away With Murder, Jacoby Shaddix chooses to sing rather than rap, and the results are great. I loved the album, and judging by reviews, many others did as well. It's one of those rare albums that can be listened to all the way through without skipping a song. I'd put it in my top... 7 or 8 albums of 2004, and I'm not even a big Papa Roach fan overall. Perhaps it has something to do with every song's theme reminding me of something I've gone through in the last year or two.

Oh man. A guy I know who is going to E3 informed me that his friend is unable to attend, so he can give me that friend's badge to get in. It's exhibits only, which means I won't have full access, but I'll get to see the meat of the show. He wants me to go all 3 days and, as a favor to him... photograph booth babes. Sounds great to me. He says that I'll also need to bring a bag for the sit ton of free stuff that is given out at the show. Assuming nothing goes wrong, this should be fucking awesome. *prays*

I'm trying to get a couple friends I have in the game industry to help me get in, but I'm not counting on it happening. Sad, too. It's happening not far from here.

"Above" smoking? An oddly condescending remark coming from such a huge ICP fan. They rap about weed constantly. Ah, well. Does that look like the face of a man who doesn't smoke weed?

I can't think of many right now, but two notables are as follows: MLB: Jayson Werth, CF, LA Dodgers. He went to my high school (Glenwood). I used to hang out with his sister Hillary back in the day. NBA: Andre Iguodala, F, Philadelphia 76ers. Went to Lanphier High School in my hometown, and played on the basketball team with my best friend. I've played a pickup game or two with him and got my ass handed to me.

The teams with the two best records in baseball, the White Sox and Orioles, start their series tonight. It's on, Iggy.
-
This information should prove valuable to me, since I'm planning on checking out a game or two in LA and/or Anaheim...

Matt *in Navi the fairy voice*: "Hey!" *Flik looks around, confuzzled* Matt: "Listen!" *Flik presses yellow C button* Matt: "I couldn't think of any funny Zelda related comment to end with, but you don't have my list yet either. I'm almost satisfied with it, though."

Awesome. There's also a 56 second long video of the game and a link to an article revisiting the original. I can't stand it any longer. I must play Gunstar Heroes again. What's a good Genesis emulator? Sadly, I don't own a copy of the game.

I like the one song I've heard, "An Honest Mistake." It irritated me when I first heard it on MVP Baseball 2005 in February, but after repeated listenings while playing the game (there are 8 or 9 looping tracks by various artists) I started to enjoy the song, and now that it's a radio single, I like it enough to not change the station at least. Motley Crue? Wow, now I really wish I could go to the show. At least I can watch the webcast.

Toronto's a nice place. Vancouver, if it's anything like Victoria, BC, would be awesome. I'm going to be watching this show, but if it doesn't top last season, fuck the Real World. I never watched the show, but San Diego hooked me. After that, Philly was a huge letdown, although it had its moments.
