If those are all indeed on TV, awesome. Everything looks pretty entertaining except for the main event, which you know will end in some sort of screwjob. The return of the double title stip is cool, though. MNM had better win the Tag Team Championship.

Eh... I have always liked both Edge and Christian. I still do, but I'd say I prefer Christian on the mic and Edge in the ring. I know Edge can be great on the mic as well, but he's merely so-so in his current character.

Put Christian over The Rock if Rock comes back to wrestle again.

I'm naked and feeling neglected, and I've been

Mole apparently doesn't "get it." I also find it funny that Mole's calling someone else a loser, especially one of the few people who is nice to him. Back on topic, I watched Episode I for the first time last night. A friend let me borrow the VHS version, and she had an extra copy of Episode II on DVD which she gave me to keep. I also think I'm going to go without smoking weed for a while. I used to love it, but now, while I can still have fun, I get tired and end up feeling cranky and unmotivated after I come down. The negatives outweight the positives. It'd be nice before bed, but otehrwise, forget it. -

Um... What about Detroit last year? I do, however, agree that the first round should still be 5 games. The playoffs actually are exciting this year for me. I haven't been incredibly interested in the NBA these last few years (after being fanatical since my childhood) with the exception of Minnesota, so naturally I'm disappointed that they're out this year. What a travesty. There are a ton of surprise teams that made it this eyar, though. The Bulls, the team of my youth, is on track for home court advantage. I don't know how far they'll make it without Curry and Deng, but they're a very balanced team so they have a shot. They've been faring well without those guys, and they've overcome an 0-9 start to make it this far. Unbelievable, and anyone who claims they don't deserve to be there should by slapped in the back of the head. It's also cool to see Phoenix, a team I've followed since junior high but can't really say I support in the sense that I do Chicago and Minnesota, will possibly have the best record in the league a year after missing the playoffs. The Lakers are out and could finish behind the Clippers, and the people out here are not happy. I've seen a lot of LA games this year, and the Lakers just cannot do shit with the team they have now. The Clippers, on the other hand, will have a bright future if they can keep their team together for once. It's still weird for me to see the Nuggets, Grizzlies, Wizards, Celtics, Mavericks, and possibly Nets and Cavaliers in the playoffs. I still havenm't gotten used to them being decent/good. EDIT: Kotz, you like the Packers and the Bulls? You are the fucking man.

Beat me to it. But yeah, there's finally a score. Here comes Raul Mondesi.

I never did get to play Alien Front Online on the Dreamcast. They should release Alien Front for Xbox Live. I know a version of the game was scheduled for *shudder* N-gage.

I signed on around 5:30 P.M. Pacific and had no problems getting the update. However, since Raw started soon after, I haven't played a game yet. I'll be trying it out as soon as Gaming Ring Radio ends their report on the final build of WrestleMania 21. Reports have come in that it takes a long ass time for matchmaking, and will continue to be that way for several days. And the new maps are only available for custom games for the moment, so I don't see why that slows down matchmaking.

I love me some football, and I like ESPN unlike most people here, but I spend my Monday nights watching WWE Raw.

I love Christian, but you can't really go by the response a wrestler gets in MSG (if you in fact were only judging by tonight). I do hope he goes to Smackdown and gets pushed to the main event, though.

It's the remix. The last few tiems I wa shigh, I was at Crazy Alberto's house. Now I'm not sure what to do. Should I play on Xbox Live, watch Star Wars again (the video store didn't have Episode 1), drink an entire bottle of pancake syrup, play Dance Dance Revolution, do some acrylic painting, play old school games (Touch Fuzzy, get Dizzy!) or something else? Seeing this thread made me chuckle at the fact that I don't remember what I was thinking when I posted it, but it also makes me want to watch "I Love Lucy" and I can't. Oooh, Dodgers game! -
It's possible if former fellow Springfieldian Andre Iguodala steps up and delivers. *cheap pop*

That wasn't gay. That was eccentric/metrosexual. Believe me, if you came to Los Angeles, their gimmick hometown, you'd see much stranger things.

If WM21 is as good as I'm hoping, I won't be playing Halo for a while. Halo's great and I often spend hours on the game once I start it up, but if I don't play it for a couple days, I can go without it. I went without playing it for 2 weeks after getting MVP Baseball, and that was just offline since MVP sucks online. I'm sure that a good wrestling game with good online play will keep me occupied for months.

Some of my clanmates mentioned this earlier tonight. I think the update sounds great, especially the increased potency of the grenades. It's also cool that they're resetting the leaderboards and ranks since I got Live in late January, and now it can be a level playing field. Of course, I'll have to pry myself away from WM21 to play Halo...

Come on, nobody wants to remember Jimmy King.

The decline of former Hardcore Champions

Even though I liked Stamboli and hated Bradshaw at the time, it was pretty cool when Stamboli beat Bradshaw for the title, and then as he was giving his victory speech backstage, Bradshaw came out of nowhere with a Clothesline from hell, which looked brutal, and regained the belt. -
MNM is fucking awesome. I read OVW results, but I had never seen footage of them. I was always a fan of John Hennigan (Nitro), being a TE mark, and I liked what little I had seen of Matthews/Mercury. Plus Melina's fucking hot. That entrance was spectacular, although they stole it from me. I always wanted to go abck to NMW in Springfield, IL, once I finished wrestling training and have a character where I thought I was better than everyone else due to living "in" Hollywood. The best gimmicks are based on real life, right? I was going to have a red carpet and paparazzi, too. Fuck. First they steal the vertebreaker, now this. Overall, MNM are the best team to debut in years. They impressed me so much that I even had a dream with them in it. I hope they win the titles at Judgment Day, if not earlier.

Heidenreiech has been using the Bossman Slam as a finisher for quite a while now. Carlito uses the Play of the Day (POD)/Overdrive, which Elix Skipper uses/used and Randy Orton injured himself attempting on that Raw where he faced Lance Storm and Christian back to back. I wish my sister hadn't stolen and sold my games. I really want to play the AKI wrestling games.

I'm disheartened, but I'm not doubting them. They did lose their top scorer and another starter, but they're a team in every sense of the word, so the team as a whole is better than the sum of its parts. They went on that 9 game win streak while plagued with injuries, so they have a shot. The lack of playoff experience is more of a detriment to their chances than the injuries as far as I'm concerned. As I said before, if they can step things up to make up for Deng and Curry being out, they're better than any team in the East except Miami and maybe Detroit. God, I can't wait to see the Bulls in the playoffs again, especially since I hardly got to see any games this season.
-
Awesome that so many Packers games will be on TV. Looking at the schedule, I'd say that Green Bay has a chance to go 10-6 or 11-5 if they stay healthy and play up to their potential. The team may not be as good as in years past, but the schedule's not that strong this year either.

Fuck that. We would've thrown exploding disco records.

Tales of Symphonia is only out for PS2 in Japan. Unless it has English subtitles or you know Japanese, it's pretty pointless to play that version considering RPGs are so dependent on text and/or dialogue.
