I'm all for it. It gets guys I like on the show, and battle royals are always fun in person. Sure, I won't be in the front row for WM21 like I have been for every other battle royal I've seen live, but I still mark for that type of match. Plus they need another match to take up some time. They went from 12 matches a year ago on a show that lasted just as long as this one will, to 8 matches, Piper's Pit, and likely some Hogan segment stemming from the HoF induction.

I love that game. Which team do you use? I thought the GBC 2002 edition was kind of lame. I'd been spoiled by much more impressive looking GBC games as well, as the GBA, at the time. I had to miss 8 months of 2004 due to not having internet access, but other than that, my shitty, cheap eMachines computer is still working after nearly 4 years.

While the card doesn't look as spectacular as last year's did, I'm fucking psyched about the show now that I'm going to be there live. I've been to dozens of non-televised shows for various feds, but my only TV taping experiences have been WCW Saturday Night in 1998, WCW Thunder in 2000 (where I saw Buff Bagwell get arrested) both in Springfield, Illinois, and WWE Raw in November in Peoria, Illinois, where La Resistance beat Chris Benoit for the Tag Team titles when Edge walked out on him. But this is WRESTLEMANIA. In HOLLYWOOD.

While I do believe that there have been some decent-good pop love songs since then, I agree that few did it better than Rzeznik and the Goo Goo Dolls. I love "Iris", "Black Balloon", and really all of Dizzy Up The Girl. Back between 1998-2001, I wrote a lot of acoustic, ballad-esque songs about love and heartbreak. Quite a efw turned out sounding like a GGD song, and I wasn't even going for that. The songs just flowed out of me. That shows how much Rzeznik's writing influenced me back then.

I like Shyamalan's movies. Unbreakable is my favorite since I mark for Bruce Willis and superheroes. The Village, however, was the absolute worst movie I have ever seen in my life... and I've seen almost every Hulk Hogan movie. It came out on my birthday last year and I went to see it the following day, expecting greatness judging by the commercials. Instead, themovie was 2 hours of the most boring, uneventful bullshit of all time followed by the worst, most nonsensical, purely for "shock" value ending ever conceived. The Village= -7/10

Even though I called Illinois vs. UNC in the title game (like 67% of America did) and never saw MSU getting this far, I would enjoy watching the Illini beat the fuck out of the Spartans in the title game.

Why do I care so much about people with whom I have no consistent relationship anymore? I still harbor feelings and attachments to old girlfriends that often arise when I am reminded of them or they are briefly mentioned. I also think a lot about people I haven't spoken to in months or years. I even get upset when it comes to my sister's friends whith whom I've only spent a menial amount of time with. My sister's friend, Abby, died in a car accident during her senior year of high school in November 2003. I had only hung out with Abby a few times at my house and a party. Although I spent a fair amount of time with her on those select few dates and even flirted with her/considered hooking up with her, I certainly didn't know her well enough to be attached. However, at the 2004 graduation ceremony, which I attended since I had friends in that class, I cried when they had a moment of silence in her memory. Now my sister's friend Mallory, to whom I was much closer than Abby and even kissed a few times (I had a pretty strong interest in Mal despite the fact that I only saw her maybe once a week, but nothing else ever happened) was told a couple months ago that she had malignant tumor on her cervix, but it could be removed. Now, however, even after that has been removed, it has been discovered that the cancer has spread, partly due to complications arising from her diabetes. (Yes, she's diabetic, too). So now Mallory faces a potentially fatal illness at age 17 (her birthday is August 1st), threatening to rob her of her life. She's a genuinely wonderful person with a bright smile and good heart. Still, I barely know her compared to how my sister knows her, and I seem to be more torn up about the whole ordeal (and my sister is crushed). It kind of puts things in perspective, though. In the last couple years, I've gone through some horrible emotional and physical issues which affected me very strongly. But Mal, God bless her, is in good spirits in the face of death. I admire that girl so much. Sorry, I'll stop ranting now. It's just good to let it all out. I hope you don't mind.

The needle issue and high fatality potential turn me off./ I actually try to avoid most substances that can cause addiction or death, but I do enjoy cigarettes, and I used to drink all the time and pop up to 10 Vicodin at the same time. I don't know how strong Oxycontin is compared to Vicodin, but what I was doing wa slikely similar. I guess I justified it by being able to just stop whenever I wanted, which I actually could rather than just assuming I could.

I've had problems with change as well. Back in the summer before 8th grade (1997), my family moved from the only house I had ever lived in, located in Springfield, Illinois, to one in Rochester, Illinois. It was a 20 minute drive back to Springfield, so I could still see my friends and family, but I couldn't just walk to their homes like before. The biggest change, though, was switching from a private Christian school, the only one I had ever attended, to a new public school. It took me 2 years to adjust to that. There were also several times during high school when my family seriously discussed moving to Arizona or another state due to my stepdad's managerial job. I was scared to death of leaving what I knew even though so many things were going wrong. This even continued after high school when my parents were going to move to California in early 2004. I came here for a month, went back to Illinois, and then moved back to Cali. Despite my fears, moving out here was the best thing to happen to me in a while. I have a love/hate relationship with change. Often, it scares me. I keep a small group of close friends, and it's hard to leave them. i become comfortable with my routine and don't wish to disrupt it. At the same time, however, I grow bored and desire to leave and start a new life elsewhere, full of excitement. This still plagues me. I'm done with Illinois, but I can't decided whether to stay in SoCal, where the weather's great and all my dreams could come true, or settle down in a similar climate with a lower cost of living (and lower potential for success in my chosen field), such as my dad's area on Mississippi's Gulf Coast. I'm a nice midwestern gentleman, and I can relate to downhome southern hospitality. However, things aren't so great between me and my dad, so maybe that wouldn't work. I still don't know what I want to do with my life. I can't bank on a musical career to earn me money. I change my mind as it pertains to what I want to do long-term very often. I also miss high school for some reason despite the fact that I was a fat, acne riddled loser back then. I guess I really just want to relive those days looking better as I do now, with the knowledge I possess now. I also have a strong passion for learning in a structured environment and I'd like to bang the high school girls I missed out on during 3/4 of my HS years.

LOL. In one of my Yahoo fantasy leagues, I missed the first 1/3 or so of the live draft and Bobby Abreu was my first round pick. I hope he's as good as you say he is, Al. I root for the Phillies to win their division every year, but I rarely get to see any of their games, so I wasn't aware he was that highly touted.

What he said. As for me, I can always tape whatever sporting events I want tow atch. I'll rarely ever not go out just because a game's on. I love sports, but life takes precedent and as long as the results aren't spoiled, the tape's almost as good as live. Actually, now that I no longer live in Illinois, I don't get all the Cubs/White Sox/Bulls games on Fox Sports Chicago and Comcast SportsNet Chicago, so I don't have as much stuff to watch. I do watch the occasional Lakers or Clippers game, however, and I'm looking forward to Angels and Dodgers baseball.

Well, I'm going to try out the deal today if I can find an ad at GameCrazy. I was going to buy a few copies and trad ethem in for a PS2, but since I can only afford to spend $20, I'm not sure if I'll keep Fight Night (heard mixed reviews) or trade it in for a full-price new game or a couple budget titles.

Your mileage may vary on this deal. I got it from a site I go to that posts amazing cheap video game deals daily. In GameCrazy's current ad (valid til March 27th) Fight Night Round 2 along with a few other new games including Star Wars KOTOR II and the latest ratchet nd Clank are advertised at $20. Most GC stores have a flyer up in-store that states that those prices are a misprint and they will not honor them. However, It has been reported that some GC strors will give you the games at that price. Also, Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, and Circuit City in most areas will price match if you have a copy of the ad from GC. I don't have any money right now so I'm screwed on this, but I figured it might help some of you guys out.
