I can't pass this one up.

    Article on JBL

I wonder if he proposed to her by soaping her ass in the shower and pretending to "find" the ring in there. Heh... I, too, like JBL. I was shocked and dismayed when he won the title, but his character has grown on me a lot over the last 8 months. It's good to see that he's found happiness. WWE Champion, newlywed... life must be good for JBL. Congratulations.

    Matt Young hurt my feelings

I'm waiting for you to admit that no one cares about this thread or what you have to say, which was made obvious by the fact that no one had replied for days and you had to bump it yourself. And you started this thread because I told you to.

Amy Weber in Lesbian Porn Scene

As far as divas being in porn goes, I say the more the merrier. I have very little interest in porn normally, but when it's wrestling women or celebs, I rather enjoy it. It doesn't hurt that Christy, Candice, and Amy are all quite hot.

Xbox2 to be released in Europe in 2005

I don't see how releasing the next Xbox first guarantees anything. We all saw what happened to the Dreamcast when the PS2 was released a year after the DC's launch. The DC was technically superior to the PS2 and, in my opinion, had better games, but that didn't exactly work out for Sega. I agree with you though, X. They need to find some way to release a system with a hard drive for no more than $300, because that's the maximum most people are willing to pay, I'd bet. If there's enough quality first party software released, they can easily make up for the losses they'll take on the hardware.

    Flip Saunders- YOU'RE FIIIIIRED

Oh, and I think he was the second longest tenured coach behind Utah's Jerry Sloan.

    Flip Saunders- YOU'RE FIIIIIRED

I was watching ESPNews the second this story broke, but I didn't have the heart to post it. Flip's been a great coach, and as Mascot said, Spree and Cassell have been the main problems. If they played the way they're capable of playing, the Wolves would still be a top team in the West rather than trailing the hapless Lakers for the 8th playoff spot. I love Kevin McHale, but I feel so badly for Flip Saunders. He didn't deserve this.

Xbox2 to be released in Europe in 2005

As far as the hard drive goes, no, there is no confirmation as to whether or not one will be included. However, the rumor is that there will be no HD or there will be separate versions of the system, one with and one without, because of cost. Microsoft is losing money on every unit sold right now. The cost of manufacturing the next gen system will only be higher. Supposedly, they'll be charging $300 for the system without the HD. They'd have to charge around $500 for a unit with the drive in order to break even. It's all rumors at this point, and I truly hope they're unfounded, but that's what I've read on various game sites and in EGM.

Xbox. I completely forgot about the existence of a PS2 league. Sorry.

Xbox2 to be released in Europe in 2005

Backward compatibility is up in the air, as it's very difficult to implement when the systems are using completely different chipsets. There's likely going to be a version of the system with a hard drive and one without. And yes, they're putting it out too early.

    Is Anybody Watching 24/7

Compelling insight from Michael Cole? Right... So does anyone know when/if DirecTV will be making WWE 24/7 available?

    Throw me something mister

Mississippi's Gulf Coast isn't too bad. I kinda like it there. Have fun at Mardi Gras, Agent. I'm looking forward to more exciting stories.
  13. I may not have every single match since I'm going from memory, but all the results In am listing are accurate. Matches may be out of order. Smackdown House Show, June 14, 2004, Springfield, IL- Prairie Capital Convention Center 1. Billy Kidman and paul London beat Nunzio and Johnny Stamboli when Kidman pinned Nunzio with a sunset flip. 2. Spike Dudley pinned Chavo Guerrero (subbing for Chavo Senior). 3. Renee Dupree pinned Rob Van Dam with feet on the ropes for leverage. 4. Mordecai pinned Funaki with the Crucifix powerbomb. 5. Jackie Gayda beat Sable, Torrie Wilson, and Dawn Marie in a bikini contest. 6. WWE Tag Team Champions Rico and Charlie Haas beat The Basham Brothers and The Dudley Boyz in a 3 team elimination match. The Bashams were eliminated first after Bubba pinned one of them following a 3D. Rico pinned Bubba after a spin kick to win the match. 7. Rey Mysterio pinned Mark Jindrak. 8. US Champion John Cena pinned Booker T with the FU. 9. WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero pinned john Bradshaw Layfield with the frog splash.

    Ashlee Simpson......

Whoa... Green Day is far from being "corporate crap". They've evolved from a really good pop-punk style band (in a good sense, not as in Good Charlotte style "pop-punk") to an incredible straight up rock band. If Green Day was "corporate crap, their last few albums would've just been rehashes of the Dookie formula. They've taken a lot of chances with their music which have resulted in a product that was not as commercially successful as Dookie but was sonically superior, culminating with what I feel is their best album (and it may top The Doors' Morrison Hotel for best ever), American Idiot. Green Day>>>>>>>>>> all pop music, including Ashlee Simpson.

    NHL Talks Break Off

This sucks. I finally got interested in the sport during last year's Stanley Cup playoffs, so of course they never play again afterwards. At least I can watch Ducks and Kings classic games on FSN West.

Bumping, since you apparently didn't see it.

Paramount releasing Classic Nickelodeon on DVD!

Peter David was indeed a writer for the show, and Walter Jones (the black Ranger) played Harlan Band. I don't know who Nicole de Boer is.

    nikjohns can suck my cock

411 has been pretty lackluster ever since the majority of the good writers left for Inside Pulse anyway, so I don't consider the site to be "big time" anymore as it is.

    Official ESPN 2K5 League Thread

Last I checked, Vitamin X and I were the only ones who had signed up. Then again, that was 2 weeks ago.
  20. St. Louis was the closest place (excluding the rare Peoria, IL, show) to my hometown of Springfield, Illinois, that had TV tapings. Good thing I live in California now. This really sucks for my guys in New Midwest Wrestling, however. They often traveled to work for various promotions in East Missouri, such as MPW. Also, considering St. Louis is one of the greatest wrestling cities of all time, this is some major bullshit.

    Shows you've been to.

This is a great thread. CAWthon's site is missing 2 of the house shows I attended- August 30th (I believe) 2002 and June 14, 2004, both at Springfield, Illinois' Prairie capital Convention Center. And, of course, the site doesn't list the 2 WCW TV tapings... but here are the other 3 WWF house shows and the WWE Raw taping I have attended.

I was just coming to post this. She looks just as hot as ever, but my cock lies soft and dormant waiting for full frontal.

Paramount releasing Classic Nickelodeon on DVD!

Heh, I was just coming here to start a thread on Space Cases. I loved that show, and it spawned my longtime cursh on Jewel Staite (Flash Forward, Firefly). That show would top my list of series that I would like to see released on DVD, followed by Salute Your Shorts, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Pete and Pete, Welcome Freshmen, Hey Dude, and probably a lot of other shows I can't remember at the moment. I loved old school Nick.

    IMax

I actually liked ATH when Max was on there, but I do like Tony Reali better. I watched I, Max for a while after it first started, but I have barely watched it in the last 6 months and what I have seen hasn't been too good. On the other hand, I've watched Around the Horn and PTI religiously pretty much since they first started. PTI's definitely my favorite, but ATH comes close when they have Woody on for the majority of the show. On a somewhat related note, I figured I'd mention this here since it's not worth starting a thread over- Has anyone else noticed that Tony Kornheiser and Todd Gordon, formerly of ECW, look a lot alike? I saw the resemblance after watching the ECW DVD again.
