Well, it took a week. I realized after checking his archived posts that I had read through many of them and didn't realize who had made the posts. Now back to the discussion of your SNKT board. I know nothing of it, but it makes me think about Wolverine's claws.

Hush now. You've made baby Jesus cry.

But then if you do that, the new people will post a lot of pointless bullshit to increase their post counts. Trust me, I've seen it a million times. I like having the post count there to keep track of how many posts I've made, but offering up avatars, titles, or anything as an incentive for a certain number of posts will just cause the people who care about those trivial things to post crap at an accelerated rate rather than encourage them to regularly post quality topics. As for the user levels, I was wondering myself what they were, but I don't give a fuck what the titles end up as since I've had mine customized for a while.

Hmm... Ever since I found my old comics last December, I've been wanting to get back in. This seems like the perfect time since I stopped collecting comics in late 1995 after the AoA storyline. I don't even remember why I quit.

Even crazier is that I'm an actual good poster and everyone knows me, I've talked to maybe ten people here, tops. The thing with me is this- I don't need attention or anything, but I'd like to get to know some of the guys so that it provides for a more personable posting environment. Back at the first major board I went to, WrestlingGames.com, myself and other posters with intelligent thoughts to share (such as Sek and LJ Sexay, 2 of the handful of guys here that I mentioned who know me) got noticed due to making good quality posts. Here, 99% of the guys are as old as me or older and thus as or more mature, most are at least reasonably intelligent, and thus it takes more to stand out. As I said, I don't desire to be the center of attention, but rather to be "one of the guys". Despite being at these forums since 2001 at least, the only times I ever remember anyone but Sek, LJSexay, The Bad Guy, John Dub, Coffey, The Anvil, Bob Barnett, or Tod deKindes knowing that I exist were when I posted pics of myself dressed as The Hurricane 3 years ago and when I changed my avatar to Ashlee Simpson and started posting silly things. I only want the sense that I am part of this community and to be involved enough in the goings on of the board that I can throw in a little personal comment whenever applicable and have it mean something. I always feel like I'm on the outside looking in. I'm probably the least known poster compared to the length of time of posted. Oh well... I guess as long as I'm having fun, that's what matters.

SAM! *leaps into your arms* It's good to see a familiar face and intelligent poster. More importantly, it's good to see a friend. Man, it's been so long since we've talked whereas we used to chat every day. I just got internet access again last month after 8 months without it. I still have the same AIM name, though, if you ever want to chat. It's good to know that you're still around. Without your wisdom and advice, I may not have made it through 2001-2002 alive. We definitely need to get in touch.

OMFG Sek is back. Man, we used to talk every day. IM me sometime. As far as Peterson goes, I've followed the case through the news and tabloids since day 1 and I still believe that he is not guilty. If he was, though, I'd say give him life in prison. I've been to jail twice and I would rather die than spend the rest of my life there... and that was just county.

Don't ask me.

I'm inclined to vote yes. People here have their own little in-jokes and comments and stuff which I am completely oblivious to. I'm not in any "clique" because, despite being here for 3 years, I could count all the people that know who I am on 2 hands, and I already knew half those people from other places. No one noticed me at all until I changed my avatar from Ted Dibiase to Ashlee Simpson (not that that ever kept me from thouroughly enjoying the board). My posting career mirrors Lance Storm's WWE career. I've consistently made quality posts for years now and I was never noticed. Now, I've reached the "gay dancing babyface" stage of my career and some people are noticing me as a morbid curiousity. The next step, if that analogy is correct, is being rumored to possess a big cock followed by unemployment. Uh-oh. Well, at least I have a beard. Since age 12, bitches!

Isn't Slint the band that Abby Gennette (sp?) fronts? I remember her mentioning that she was in a band with a name that sounded like that back when she hosted MTV2 Rock. She's one of the hottest women ever made, so I'd like to know if her music is any good.

Huh? Is that a common side efefct of steroids? A lot of other guys who are supposed users have normal voices. I'm just curious.

Haha! My deadbeat dad sent me a $30 check for Christmas which arrived today! My problems are solved!
-
You son of a bitch. I've already spent far more on video games this past month and a half than I ever planned to (something like $500, which is a lot when I'm unemployed) and now you taunt me with one of the main games I want- another long RPG, no less- on sale for $29.99 when I have exactly $30 to my name. You, sir, are evil.

Suprising moves that a wrestler has used.
Matt Young replied to DangerousDamon's topic in General Wrestling
This guy who wrestles in a fed I trained with, New Midwest Wrestling (cheap pop) weighs over 400 pounds of pure fat, but he has performed several moonsaults. http://www.newmidwest.com/bios/church_of_ron/madman.html The Mississippi Madman Don Jackson! -
Goldust had been using the powerslam as a finisher prior to their teaming and had dispatched of several foes with that very maneuver. He also beat Christian later on with it after Christian beat Booker T for the Intercontinetal title in the Judgment Day battle royal.

So he admits it! Which of the mods will be next to come out about their addiction?! This could be the biggest controversy in SmartMarks history! *Ahem* Seriously, this interests me. I am 5'8"-9", 125 pounds after losing 50 pounds of fat last year. I'd like to eventually get to Chris Benoit like size, but for now I'd like to just gain a decent amount of muscle to increase strength and alleviate the pain of the 2 bulging discs in my back before I go back and try to train for wrestling again. The "gains" I got in 2 months of working out before I moved were minimal at best, and I've considered the roids.

I used to have feds like that with sets that I actually created. I've thought about collecting figures again for display purposes, and that combined with my renewed interest in fantasy booking makes me want to do something like this. However, I have not the money to buy new figures (half my old ones and all 3 rings are missing or broken), nor do I possess the desire to give up my pride, time, and/or sex life to run such a job.

I should've gotten X-Men Legends instead of Mortal Kombat Deception and SVC Chaos, both of which sucked. I didn't buy it because I had too many RPGs to finish. I still need to complete Chrono Cross, Skies of Arcadia Legends, Paper Mario 2, and Tales of Symphonia. Oh well. Anybody wanna trade this game for Mortal Kombat?

EA signs a 5 year exclusive deal with NFL
Matt Young replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Video Games
I've been a fan of EA Sports- well, Live and Madden- for a decade now and I am beginning to love the Tiger Woods games. However, ESPN/Sega Sports games have been my preferred series since getting NFL2k for Dreamcast on 9/9/99. I knew the $20 price point that allowed me to own all of this year's ESPN Sports games wouldn't last, but now they won't be able to make licensed games period? Fuck EA. First WCW dies, now Sega Sports. Fuck. Why must all that I love be stolen from me? -
It's all my fault. After over a decade of watching every sport but hockey, I became interested in the NHl during last season's Stanley Cup playoffs. Now, since God hates me and wants to destroy everything that gives me pleasure, he has seen fit to cancel the hockey season. Sorry, guys...

I went there and got 4 games so I could try the deal out and not look to suspicious. those all rang up for $5 each, so I was happy. I had other stuff to do so I took care of that and decided to come back a little later, which turned out to be 2 hours. I had a stack of 10 more games and I got rung up. Uh oh. They had caught on. I spoke to the manager, and after raising a ruckus I was able to get 4 more games for another $20. Apparently, I was to be the last one. They said that Final Fantasy X-2, basically any other RPGs I had grabbed, and Sonic Mega Collection Plus were NOT part of the deal. Crap. All in all though, I did ok. I found a game I had been looking everywhere for (Ultra Bust-A-Move) and got 6 games for the PlayStation 2 that I won't even get for another week. Here's my bounty: PS2: 007:Everything Or Nothing Grand Theft Auto III Grand Theft Auto Vice City Tekken 4 Tony Hawk's Underground WWE Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain Xbox: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (I have the movies now so I'll be able to understand it) Ultra Bust-A-Move (nearly impossible to find... but SO worth it, even w/o having Live) That's the list. Thanks so much for posting this deal.

My cousin back home in Illinois got the deal... Now I'm about to go try. *crosses fingers*
-
Definitely. I'm still waiting for a ride, though. I'm going to feel really dumb if I bring 10 games up expecting them to be $50 and they ring up as $150. I'll have to say I don't have the money...
-
Lots of guys on Anandtech are saying the deal is dead. I hope that's not true...
-
Thanks... I figured it'd be the same at every store, but I've been asking questions because in order to get to Circuit City, I have to have someone give me a ride and I don't want to do all that for nothing. EDIT: Do you have the lists for GC and Xbox games?
