Yes, it's big, but as I said- It doesn't stretch the page. However, if enough people are bothered by it, I will change it. Normally I wouldn't use an image that big because I don't often like when other people do it, but I love this graphic in particular.

That match is on Heat tonight. It was already taped this past Monday. As for the matter at hand, Lance Storm and Matt Hardy are my 2 favorite WWE wrestlers, so I am very pissed. I'm also a Hurricane fan as well. With the storyliens that have been going on lately, they could throw Hardy, Storm, Steven Richards, and Test into some sort of match, but I'm hoping they just add a battle royal so that all the guys who are deserving can at least get on the show even if the match will suck. Besides, whoever won the match could use the victory to jump-start a push. Maybe since there's no Intercontinental title match on teh WM card, they could have a battle royal for a title shot on the next night's Raw.

Beyond the Mat: Ringside Special Edition DVD
Matt Young replied to Karnage's topic in Television & Film
I bought the tape of the movie used from Hollywood Video a few years ago for a scant $2.99 and have watched it countless times. Now that I have a DVD player, I'll definitely have to add this to my collection. -
I picked it up last year when it was $5.99 at Best Buy. It's brilliant. It has to be one of the best rock albums I've heard in years. I can especially relate to a lot of the lyrics. They're now one of my favorite bands in my favorite genre of music.

Come for the wrestling, stay for the rest
Matt Young replied to The Czech Republic's topic in No Holds Barred
I'm the same as Kotz. I used to go to the just the wrestling folders back when I signed up, but now I'm 50/50. I check nearly all the folders daily, though. I'm still a huge wrestling fan, but I don't post so much in the wrestling forums. Most of my posts end up in General, Hardcore, LSD, Music, Sports, and especially Video Games. Regardless, I voted La Parka. -
I always disliked big sigs, but I couldn't resist sharing this work of art with everyone. Besides, my sig doesn't stretch the page, and it's not obscenely large yet.

I haven't read the article yet (although I will because I'm a huge Truitt mark), but the Raw Sewage match in question is on XPW's Liberty or Death DVD. I know because I rented it a couple weeks ago out of curiousity since I had never seen the fed. The match is horrible, as is the majority of the DVD, but it's worth seeing for one certain crazy high spot which I won't spoil. Otherwise, it's people throwing each other in kiddie pools full of "sewage", which the announcers childishly refer to as "poo-poo" despite saying "shit" about 43 billion times throughout the rest of the show.

I don't have a powerful PC for gaming and I am also stuck with a shitty 56k connection. As a result, I don't play many PC games. This creates a problem because every time I get online, my console collection is staring at me, begging to be played. I need some decent games I can play while browsing the web. Any type of game will do, but what I'm really looking for are puzzle games, shooters (as in Gradius/Galaga/R-Type style, not FPS), and my favorite, 2D side scrolling beat-em-up games. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Pop and Drop on Yahoo Games rules. It's just like Bust-A-Move, which is one of the greatest puzzle games ever. I love it. That's exactly what I was looking for when it comes to puzzle games.

What do you mean by "goofballs", Agent? I'm pretty well-versed in drug terminology, but I've never heard that one. I'm just curious because I could use something to help me remain alert after a long, sleepless night, but caffeine's too weak and I'm not about to try shit like meth or coke after seeing those drugs' effects on people I've known. The only drugs that I use make me tired (weed, alcohol, vicodin... shrooms are the exception, btu those aren't for everyday use). Alright, I'm done ruining another thread by veering off-topic. I still haven't been to sleep, and my mind begins to wander, causing me to ramble. Then again, those have been the circumstances when I've made a lot of my posts this past week, so whatever. Carry on.

I have stayed up for 3 days straight on a few occasions. I'm an insomniac by nature, so it wasn't always a purposeful venture. I tend to get pretty tired after 20-24 hours but I often cannot get to sleep. Then, a few hours later, I'll hit the stage where everything's funny and I kind of get giggly. After that subsides, I get my second wind where I'm awake all day. My habit of consuming large amounts of caffeine helps me stay awake usually, although I drink so much that it doesn't give me a "buzz"... I only notice an effect (or lack thereof) if I don't have any. Stress and excessive worrying (or just excessive thought in general) keepp me awake, and the caffeine keeps me sane.

MAME's definitely something I've considered. I have GBA, NES, SNES, and Genesis emulators on my PC and Dreamcast, but I'm still missing out on a lot of arcade games. The one I want to play the most is quite possibly my all time favorite arcade game, the old school X-Men game from 1992. Once I find a job, my main goal (after renting an apartment) is to purchase an arcade cabinet from ArcadeWerx.com. It's a stylish cabinet which includes 15 old Capcom games (including Street Fighter) and it can play all kinds of MAME games, which gives me an essentially unlimited library. Sure, I can play them on my PC, but it's not the same. Plus I've always wanted my own arcade machine. I know it's possible to build a cabinet myself, but I would probably fuck it up somehow, and even if it worked, it'd look like shit. Besides, it'd probably cost almost as much to build one as it would to buy one ($600). Anyway, thanks for the help so far. I'm going to read up on MAME and check out the Yahoo site now.

You were right about the title and the fact that it is a short story. I don't know why I thought it was a book. I guess I justread it as part of a compilation of short stories. Someone at GameFAQs found the story online and gave me the link. Apparently it was written by Anton Chekhov. I'm going to look for a book of his short stories next time I head to Barnes and Noble. Although they list quite a few on the site, I'd prefer to have them in print form. The story is located at www.classicreader.com/read.php/sid.6/bookid.240/. I haven't gotten much of a chance to browse yet, but the site as a whole looks awesome.

I have no idea why I remembered this now, but I recall reading a book about 5 years ago while I was a sophomore in high school. The only details I remember are that it features a person (I think it was a man) who chooses to stay locked inside a small living area for a year, I believe in order to acquire a large amount of money. He can have no contact with the outside world and his only company is the collection of books which he spends his days studying. I seem to recall him leaving the night before his time is up. Does anyone have a clue as to what I'm talking about? This is going to bug me until I figure it out, and it's something I'm really interested in reading again. I know that my description was pretty vague, but it's the best I can do.

I'd like to try it out, but as you probably know, I'm on a 56k modem. Would the game even be playable for me?

Krazy Karter has good taste in music, at least as far as the signature indicates. he's also apparently crazy, and crazy people>>>normal people. There, that's 2 things.

It looked like glitter to me, but everyone else seems to think it's some weird rash.

I'm really interested. I taped every Raw, Thunder, and some Nitros from 1997-early 2000, but that's the extent of my tape library. It'd be nice to relive olf pre-Attitude era WWF memories and experience all the WCW stuff I didn't get to see (I only watched the WWF from 1991-97 before finally getting into WCW). Also, do you have plans (or even the capability) to transfer these to DVD? Regardless of whether you do or not, name your price. If it's reasonable, I'll gladly by at least a tape or two when I get some cash.

Shit... I almost watched it tonight, but I skipped it because I thought it had already been underway for a couple days and I didn't want to jump in in the middle. I love Stephen King's books and movies/mini-series, so I hope they re-air the episode, maybe immediately rpeceding the next one. *prays*

I also watched Army of Darkness on AMC. I love the movie, and it brings back fond memories of seeing it with my first real girlfriend (not counting junior high bullshit) in my freshman eyar of high school about 6 years ago. It was one of her favorite movies and has become one of mine. I've been labeled as some sort of sinner for never having seen the other 2 movies in the trilogy, but now that I have a DVD player, I plan on getting all of them for my collection. As a side note, Bruce Campbell came to my hometown last year, but I couldn't go meet him because I had a commitment to be at the show of the wrestling organization I was training with. I really wish I could have met the guy.

Hmmm... I figured that the shows that are on cable were simulcast nationwide. I have DirecTV, and I get Raw at 6 PM, Velocity at 7 PM, and Heat at 4 PM, all Pacific time of course. Sadly, Smackdown, being that it's on a non-cable channel, comes on at 8 PM PST, starting an hour after it has already ended everywhere else.

I never heard about this, and I'm on the West Coast as well. WWE neevr aired a commercial for the show or promoted it on their website. Did it actually air, or was it a misprint? The only pre-WrestleMania special I've heard about is next Tuesday's "10 Greatest Matches" show hosted by Ric Flair.

??? I like the guy and admire his choice in football teams, but Spoon Man can get as emotional as I do on these boards, and I get labeled as whiny at times. Kotz is a fine poster, but he seems out of place amongst the others who were listed. Oh well, it's not like it matters in the least. I've had no sleep and have nothing better to do than to make pointless posts. My brain's too fried to play a video game. Only 1 more hour til baseball comes on... yay.

He's been acting weird a lot lately. Remember a couple weeks ago when Evolution was set to head out to the ring, and HHH was high fiving/chest slapping everyone until Flair stuck out his hand and Triple H just walked away? Naitch tried to cover it up by immediately going into strutting mode and chanting, "Follow the champ." It was fucking hilarious.
