Okay guys, I have the fix for all our problems. These sliders are courtesy of dshopmaker from the 2K Sports forums. He's PS3 only, so no downloads. We have to manually enter them on the 360, but it only takes a few minutes: I played 4 games- Lakers/Spurs twice, Bulls/Pacers, and Bulls/Cavs. After experimenting, these sliders work best for a sim game with realistic stats when you play 8 minute quarters on All-Star difficulty. I was always averse to playing longer quarters (did 5 on every sports game) since I want to finish at least one season and stillplay all my other 360 games. But this works best in my opinion. So try these sliders with 8 minute quarters on All-Star, and let me know if you agree that this is the best way to play the game.

I built up enough respect during a couple missions where I wouldn't even need to do activities if I didn't want to. But like I said earlier, it'd make the game really short, and I enjoy activities such as mayhem, insurance fraud, septic avenger, etc.

I bought tickets to a TNA Wrestling show yesterday. When my friend and I made the purchase, we were told to keep the tickets away from heat or direct sunlight, or else they would turn black and we would not be able to use them. Has anyone else been told this when purchasing tickets recently? Is this some strange security measure?

I would have preferred the Dodgers winning, obviously, but I'm happy for fellow GHS alum Jayson Werth. He's a good guy and I'm glad he gets a chance to play in the World Series.

I just don't know what else I'm supposed to say during a game rather than commenting on goals, hits, or penalties.

This game is a lot of fun so far (3 and a half hours in). But I can see this being 20 hours or less if I just focus on the missions. It's a lot easier to earn respect during missions so you really don't even have to do many activities. I'm going to force myself to do activities (which I enjoy) so I don't run through the story in less than a week. This game seems about half the length of GTA IV.

And the Kings have their first win over the still winless Ducks, 6-3.

The Ducks are just killing themselves with penalties. 5-2 Kings.

Well, it didn't take long for the Kings to give up a goal to the Ducks.

Boogeyman already came back on Raw last night. Good match. I was happy to see Bourne win (even though Chavo is on my fantasy team), since a Hardy/Bourne match would be tits. Hopefully Morrison, my favorite ECW guy, wins the other qualifier.

Good God, NBA 2K9 is pissing me off. Specifically, the damn catch-up A.I. I am 1-2 against the CPU on pro with the Bulls. The Thunder came back and made up an 8 point deficit in 2 minutes, taking the lead by one, before I made a shot at the buzzer to beat them 71-70.Both the Heat and Hawks made up 6 point deficits and beat me, as I missed easy layups or they got blocks and steals on every possession. I'm pretty sure NBA 2K8 had catch-up A.I. as well, but I was so disgusted by it's many flaws that I didn't care. This, however, is actually a good game and it's frustrating losing games not because of skill, but because of programming. This isn't NBA fucking Jam.

Sometime next year. The commercials are due to the release of the PC version.

I think Hiro froze time, replaced Ando with an Ando from a different timeline, and killed him. Or something. Heroes is following the pattern of the only show better than it- Lost. Great season 1, okay season 2, season 3 is the best so far (Lost season 4 topped 3).

I'm ready to continue the story after finishing GTA IV and wanting to blow more shit up. Fallout can wait till I finish Oblivion, and Saints has great co-op features. Fable II, I'm not interested in the co-op. You posted the Saints Row 1 box art, by the way.
