I have never heard of those, but according to IMDB, yes.

Personally, I always liked the Bulls' black pinstripe jerseys from the last 3-peat. Those were infinitely better than the dull black "CHICAGO" unis currently in use.

I still haven't, after like 35-40 games. Apparently, it can only happen with New York teams. -
LOL at UndertakerHart replying to my mention of Merriman, yet ignoring the mention of Warner and reposting the news. :-P But yeah, Merriman's not out yet for sure... Though the smart choice, as I said, would be not to play until fully healed.

El Cabron Magnifico I think the English translation sounds funnier. "The Magnificent Motherfucker"? I can dig that (sucka).

Have you ever sucked a cock?

I knew it. -
I'm pretty sure the body burns 500 calories, if not more, just doing normal everyday activities. And there's no way you can get all the nutrients you need on that kind of diet without extensive supplementation. Whatever muscle you may have will rapidly degenerate due to not being supplied with enough protein and other essential nutrients.

Man, this Shawn Merriman injury really sucks. He's the heart of the Chargers' defense. I thought they had a chance to at least make it back to the AFC title game this year, but with the possible ramifications, Merriman should get surgery rather than play. No sense in risking your whole career over one season. In other news, the Cardinals have named Kurt Warner the starter over Matt Leinart. It's a good decision in the short term, based on how Leinart has played this preseason, but a terrible one long-term. It'll only lead to Warner getting benched after 5-6 games and then bitching the rest of the season while riding the pine. I could be wrong, though, as the Cards have a pretty easy schedule for the first half of the season.

IMDB says Vader is voiced by some dude named Matt Sloan. I'm about to finally try the demo. I've been eagerly anticipating this game ever since it was announced. Dark side FTW!

Weezer's first two albums are great. You can really see how much influence that Sharp had on the band, because everything they have put out since he left hasn't been that good. Sharp's other band, the Rentals, is pretty solid. Has anyone here ever checked out Ozma? They played a show 2 years ago at UC Riverside that I really enjoyed.

Same.

I've been busy and haven't checked who's joined lately. Well, I tried a couple days ago, but league servers were down.I'll do that now. EDIT: And it says, "The EA servers are not available at this time. please try again later." Suck my dick, EA.

I tried the savory chicken caesar today. It's full of fat, but delicious nonetheless.

1400 calories a day is a lot less unhealthy than 500, though. And how many calories does vodka really have? I lost 60 pounds in just over 4 months in 2003 on a diet consisting almost solely of vodka.

That's like, the whole state of Illinois, Czech. There's no avoiding it where we're from. -
I don't know, man. I have never heard of this hormone deal, but 500 calories a day is never healthy, no matter how you slice it.

I didn't say I didn't like the movie. I just said it didn't hold up as well, and was kind of boring. Too much time with nothing really going on. I still like it. The book is better to me, but then again, I almost always like the book better. It's natural to compare the 2 mediums, but at the same time kind of hard given the storytelling constraints of a movie versus a book. As for the miniseries, I only saw it once when it premiered, so I can't really rank it against the book and movie.
-
Could you elaborate? I mean, I respect your opinion more than that of most others on here, but simply calling those who prefer the book idiots isn't a good counter argument. What, in your opinion, made the movie better? Nicholson was great- actually, the whole cast played their roles very well- but the movie was just kind of dull and, well, not scary to me once I passed age 14. The book, however, still gave me chills at 20.

Damn, you beat me to it.

Actually, we do know, as WWE made the rules perfectly clear. It's just that people are stupid and suck at reading comprehension. I like Bruiser Brody and all, so I do not mean this as an insult to him. But fuck... When he- a chronic drinker whose brain cells are probably fried, and memory likely less than stellar- gets it and countless others don't (even after having it spelled out for them), that shows you what we're working with in the WWE folder.

I still think you're all right. -
Looks like The Condemned with cars. Are you kidding me? The Shining was an amazing book. The movie, on the other hand... It scared me to death as a kid, but watching it recently, it bored the shit out of me. It's not even close.
