It's a good plan for several reasons: (A) While you work the same body parts, you're switching up how you do it each week, and that variety allows for more growth. (B) Doing a split is generally more effective for gaining muscle (not sure about fat loss, but that's what the running is for) than is a full body workout. © With the full body workout, you're doing the same thing every day. That stunts growth potential, and contributes to your boredom in the gym. Also, your muscles aren't getting as much recovery time as they would/do with a split routine, further limiting potential growth. The trainer, of course, knows more than I do on the subject and can offer a lot more insight, but I'm trying to give what advice I can based on a little more than 2 years' experience, a lot of reading of bodybuilding sites and forums, and the advice I've gleaned from the trainers at my gym.

I'd be interested if I can find a copy for $30 or so.

Triple H never won the IC belt in a title vs. title match. He simply unified the IC and World titles, and the IC belt ceased to exist for 7 months.

Random Thoughts 3-27-08 to 5-28-08

Haha... nice. WWE suspensions and drug scandals. I just went to WWE.com to watch ECW. Apparently, they have finally implemented the use of Microsoft Silverlight. In addition to the video quality being better, and offering full screen capability, we can watch every single episode of ECW since they started the X-Stream. No longer will we be restricted to Wednesday-Monday viewing if we missed the television broadcast of a particular week's episode! -
Ah, okay. I did not realize that. Mole, I think that's one reason- unless we find out that Claire really is dead in the finale- but there has to be more to it.

Yeah, but they'd probably check the baby's blood as part of the tests, as well as kate's. Who knows what they could have been exposed to on Membata?

I didn't read everything, but I skimmed. I can say two things with certainty: 1. As far as running goes, improving your cardiovascular conditioning and losing fat are two different things. They're not completely independent of each other, but there's a reason treadmills/ellipticals have a cardio setting and a fat burn setting. High intensity is for cardio; low intensity is for fat burning. 2. The workout that the trainer gave you is about 100x better than the one you were doing before. Just give it a chance. Doing full body workouts exclusively is not going to help much at all.

They already divorced back in season 4. Loretta has been off the show for years.

Most games have good matchmaking systems. In Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4, you'll get matched up with people at or around your skill level, at least in ranked games (well, all COD4 games are ranked).

That depends. Some women can still be remarkably small at that point. Also, since Aaron was born on the island, wouldn't there be some mandatory doctor checkups or something to make sure he's all right? Would that not give away the fact that Kate is not Aaron's mother?

I just went to WWE.com and there was a Hulk Hogan flash ad for that thing. -
I noticed that Kate claimed at the press conference that Aaron was only 5 weeks old. Aaron was born on November 1st, 2004. They got off the island on January 8th, 2005 (day 108). That'd make him a little over 2 months old.

I haven't seen Temple of Doom, obviously, but I feel that way about a lot of older movies- chiefly, Army of Darkness.

What the fuck? Kurt Angle: "All I ask is that you show up here next week..." *BAM* commercial.

Holy hell, get on it, son! What did you think of Raiders? It's amazing that almost 30 years later, that film is still awesome. It was excellent, but I need to re-watch as I viewed it between 2-4:30 A.M. after being awake for over 48 hours. I'd like to watch all 3 in a day or two. But it seems that I haven't seen lots of movies that most people consider must-see, or I'm late to the party. I never saw Star Wars until the release of the DVDs in 2004. Never saw a Terminator film until after the season finale of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I've never seen The Godfather, Citizen Kane, Pulp Fiction, Schindler's List, Silence of the Lambs, Taxi Driver, Apocalypse Now, Clockwork Orange, the Alien series, Blade Runner... the list goes on and on.

I know! It was worth it to say I did it, but fuck.

Haha, I meant $250. Venk's new gimmick: Pointing out my mistakes?

*looks at avatar* Drunk as a skunk?

I've never seen things listed alphabetically like that. Usually, the team that owns the tiebreaker is listed first.

As someone who enjoys almost any wrestling, that Greg Gagne match that just aired was the biggest mess I've ever seen. There was th match itself, followed by the announcers (who seemed surprised by the replay) reaffirming that, yes, there was a three count, when Gagne's opponent clearly had his shoulder up after 2.

One of my all time favorites. I have hundreds of cat pics.

A friend picked up Raiders yesterday when went to Wal-Mart. It's only $15, and well worth a purchase. Even the covers fo the films look great, as the DVD case itself is inside a slide-off cover which is- and I'm not sure that this is the proper term- holographic. Believe it or not, before last night, I had never seen an Indiana Jones film. I still need to see the other 2 on DVD.

Same here, except I started watching a month or two before Season 3. I read through this topic as I progressed through Season 1 and 2 on DVD. In retrospect, I picked a bad time to get addicted. I was able to watch seasons 1 and 2 at my leisure (I.e. in less than a week each) and then, not only do I have to wait a week between episodes, after 6 of them I get a 3 month hiatus to suffer through. EDIT: Do a YouTube search for "There's No Place Like Hoem preview" and you can find 5 short clips from tomorrow's show, ranging from 15 seconds to a minute and 51 seconds. Nothing major is spoiled, although it does confirm the suspicions of many that (not a death spoiler, if anyone was wondering)

It's been nigh impossible to find a Wii in Southern California. I just saw one in a store for the first time ever, last night. 'Twas at a Perris, CA Wal-Mart. Of course, I finally find one when I don't have the $20 + tax to spend on it. Grr.

Oh, I almost forgot... ATTN: AGENT OF OBLIVION- I finally fucking did it! Weird thing is, I hadn't played GH in weeks, and it only took me about 7 tries yesterday to beat "Through the Fire and the Flames" on Expert:
