That Cheerleader Melissa vs. Daizee Haze match was a nice surprise, as it wasn't on the non-spoiler match listing that I read. It felt like I was back in St. Louis at a Gateway Championship Wrestling show. I was surprised that Melissa was allowed to use the vertebreaker since it's one of Homicide's big moves. I wonder how long it will be till the Impact Zone fans start chanting "Raieesha Sayid" at Melissa. Also, my DirecTV info for the show lists, "Kurt Angle and Scott Steiner vs. Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash". Huh. I geuss we're not having Impact discussion threads anymore... I started one last week that got no activity.

I had that happen, too. It pulls up at the exact spot you called it from, marked by a blue arrow. If you call it and walk down the street, it'll fly by you and stop at the place from which you called it.

I just quit playing about 30 minutes ago, but only because my contacts dried out, I can't see without them, and I don't own glasses. I played about 3 hours of multiplayer (mostly Team Deathmatch) and almost 5 hours of single player (4 hours, 59 minutes, 5 seconds), taking breaks only to eat a couple times, take a phone call, and fill out some paperwork for my job. Such an incredible game. I liked Saints Row better than the older GTAs, but this one's already on pace to top it. This is the first GTA I've bought at or anywhere near release, and I love it. Apparently, many others do as well. I had never seen any more than 28 people on my friend list online at once. Last night, there were 42 online- all but 2 playing GTA IV.

Really? I didn't notice. The one that got "hurt" at the PPV was the right leg. Wrestlers usually work/sell the left arm or leg, so maybe that's why.

It's cool that the game is incorporating stuff from Saints Row (like flying through windshields) since Saints was better than any of the previous GTA games. I just have another 2 and a half hours till I can see how awesome it is for myself. I'm surprised you guys are talking about the difficulty of the cops. the reviews and people at other boards have been talking about how much easier they are, almost to a fault.

I own some brass knucks that were given to me years ago. No knives, no guns. Though it would be cool to have a pistol for some target shooting. I used to do that with a family friend as a kid and was decent at it.

Well, he IS still owed a title shot from when he won the Beat the Clock tourney. I'm sure you're not serious, but Beat The Clock is only for one guy in each match. One guy tries to beat the clock to earn a title shot. The opponent gets nothing if he wins.

Yea, me neither, and I bought a year, specifically for this. But hey, still works out in the end I suppose. Now I just have 14 months of live with GTA. Between Live giving me 2 free months due to the credit card set for auto-renew being canceled, a free month from when my Xbox red-ringed, the +1 month that comes from the 1 year cards (twice), and the month from this, my subscription won't expire till next July, 5 days before my birthday. I originally signed up in January 2005.
