Yea, I remember this issue. I remember that the matches were a "best of 7" and in the semi-finals Hogan beat Ahmed Johnson like 4 to 3 and I think even had to beat Raven to get to the finals. I remember that photoshopped poster was pretty cool. I never bought that issue, just looked through it at the local video store, but I wish I had it. They did the computer simulated tournament two other times I believe in '94 and '95.

While I would agree with you, I think this will depend on what Bush's image will be like in 4 years. Let's watch all this "legacy" talk in the next few weeks because now that the election is over I think Bush may get some more favorable coverage. For 2012 I see a few top GOP contenders: *Sarah Palin *Mitt Romney *Jeb Bush *Bobby Jindal *Mike Huckabee Right now, I'd put money on a battle between Palin and Romney, but the size of the field and quality of the candidates will depend on how well Obama does in his first term. Also, Obama needs to watch his back because one little screw up could prompt a Obama-Hillary II in the Democratic primaries in 2012.

My guess is we could see W. again when Jeb Bush emerges as a presidential contender in 2012. I know it sounds crazy, but I honestly think that a Jeb re-emergence is only a matter of time.

Does anyone know what popular vote % Nader and Barr got this time around? I can't find it anywhere.

I'm loving the fact that Stevens is currently ahead in this race because it was my "upset" pick in my election 2008 pool. Never underestimate the support of a guy who brings load of pork to his state.

The GOP is saving Romney for 2012, although he'd be a candidate that would have been more credible and at ease talking about the economy than McCain. Romney's main problem is he flip-flopped on social issues in the primary because he thought his main challenger would be Giuliani. After McCain's win in NH he was screwed.
