Okay WWE..this is your chance to make a real star out of this guy...he's as hot right now and they need to cash in on this...if Edge can make people cheer Cena I think people will definately get behind Kennedy as a face..and they'll get behind him when Batista and Henry go after him too...the best thing they can do right now is have Edge talk about how he beat him and took everything from him for good month and a half meanwhile we get vignettes ONLY about Kennedy with his theme song playing showing his highlights..and only when Kennedy is fully healed have him suprise Edge and everybody else with the big popped-enterance and beat the hell out of him..SummerSlam main event on a platter.

Yeah I'm not really sure why that person said that there's not much hype for Spiderman even though it comes out next week...does it really need any more hype at this point? There's midnight showings at every single theatre in the area...it'll do big business with no problems and will be the movie that many people will go see again where as I certainly wouldn't hit POTC or Shrek a second time...I do think both the latter movies will be huge though as entire families will go see both..but Spiderman will rule the summer... On a side note I think that word of mouth will help many of these "sleeper films" like 28 Weeks Later and Knocked Up which will both get critical success and will be nice changes from the summer explosions.. Biggest Waste-ANYBODY who goes to watch DeltaFarce...

That being said about women of the WWE I wonder why it is that most women fail to make a return to WWE like so many men have..I know that the creation of the Divas happened fairly recently yet people like Gail Kim and Hemme haven't made their way back yet...I guess WWE really considers them expendable but I would've liked to see Hemme back someday..I always liked her and thought she had more potential...his sister is way hot too if you haven't noticed her yet...

The fact is things like this get said all the time. Roesy, Sharpton, Jackson and a slew of others have all said something that would offend somebody. It's just ridiculous that no body will stand up to these assholes Sharpton and Jackson. O&A have been brilliant this week in pointing out how fucked up this whole thing is. And Imus has over-whelming support in all the poles and his radiothon is doing as much as 10 times the donations per hour from what it did last year. I'm looking forward to see what Trey and Matt do about this. I hope that black people will one day stand up and tell those two theiving fucks fat Al and ol' mushmouth Jackson that no one ever elected you leader of any body. This is really a sad day in our country and I think that it has furthered the divide between the races.

Imus should of just came out and said that it was a joke and maybe it was a bad joke and then told every body to forget about it and whenever that fat fuck Sharpton came calling he should bring up all the fucked up things he's done in his past before he MADE himself a minister and Jesse Jackson too...instead Imus has shown fear and now Sharpton and CO. feel like now that Imus is cornered they won't leave him alone. I hate this ridiculous shit and it's things like this that keep racial divides open..not Imus's comments(which are not racist) but rather the inability to let throw away comments like this alone...

Too much ego on WWE made this impossible to pull off...if Bischoff would've beaten Vince in 1997(and some how got the rights to WWF) I could have totally seen him absorbing the wrestlers and at some point make WCW lose to the WWF resulting in WCW not being an entity for at least a few months. Bischoff understood that at the end of the day he ran both the WCW and the NWO so whatever was best for business decided the ruling faction. The worst thing about the Invasion is that so many of us had faith in Vince to pull off the most amazing story in the history of wrestling. He had a year of great stories in the bag just waiting to be pulled out..but he just had to repeatedly power bomb WCW into the ground..Flair, Goldberg and the NWO showing up soon after made it even worse.. The Death Of WCW book goes into it in great detail and I hope that Vince knows that his handling of WCW had a worse impact than the XFL failing was on his business..

Just saw it and loved both movies..at first I thought that maybe Deathproof should've been the first feature because of the slow scenes and Planet Terror being way more action packed could end the show but the way PT ended was kind slow and Deathproof went out with quite a bang..the order is correct IMO and I hopeI HopeIHope that we get a sequel...maybe two Grindhouses with Roth and Zombie joining in for full length films... BTW Thanksgiving was the best fake trailer and Halloween by Zombie looks badass...great night at the movies to kick off the best movie season EVAH!!

Why didn't Lex Luger win the title at SummerSlam in 93...he had a helluva build and that place was electric when he came out?

Loved this movie...Frank Miller and Zack Snyder should be very proud of this film which stands as both a well acted movie and a killer action flick...I look for Snyder to become a premier director(if he isn't already) where his movies are always anticipated as blockbusters...he seems to be taking "Watchmen" very seriously and willing to go to bat against the studio for the film too...

1997 was just a year where the old ways of doing things were thrown way out and American fans finally got amazing wrestling plus compelling storylines...yes there was a lot of crap mixed in there too but overall with things like the real wrestlers in WCW from ECW, Mexico and Japan the domination of the NWO and the reality of WWE with Hart Foundation, DX and Austin was just something to really get into..I know I never missed a Monday really from sometime in 1996 on...

Not to hijack this thread into an O&A discussion but why would you think that O&A care less about the XM show that they praise so much and want the FM station that they hate on so publicly?

It pretty much depends on where you live..in Kansas City we have crap for radio(our local AM sports stations are very good). I got hooked on XM when I got a new car. Theres just so much more music to listen to. And many months after later I disovered O&A and Ron & Fez and they are a blast to listen to. The baseball games and music made a trip from KC to Wyoming a breeze. I did get Sirius too for the NFL but I just wasted a year's subscription cuz I never listened to it. The channel selection seemed really odd when compared to XM(way more organized)...I more than justify my 12.00 a month...

One of many couldabeens of the Invasion-era. He had an impressive push going and gave X-Factora bit of legitamacy but then was lost in the shuffle of post Invasion...didn't he get teamed with Scotty2Hotty at some point?

Then we can get another "suprise" from TNA that will "change the face of TNA"..at this point I don't think there is anything RVD can do to make TNA any better..they already have the firepower to compete with WWE..their booking is horrible and their announcers are annoying and give off the fake wrestling vibe that even the most die hard fans can't stand..so RVD should really just stay put and deal or be prepared to get a stomach full of Kurt Angle nonsense.. Anybody know what Melina's deal is?

I don't understand the point of splitting Rated RKO and why even when they do split it needs to be them hating each other. They are the two great heels and neither needs another go as a face..it just isn't necessary and will set one of them back in his career AGAIN...Michaels and Martel wrestled a great heel vs heel match at SummerSlam so let them heel it up and see what happens....

If it's true(and I have no reason to think that those idiots wouldn't pull this) that Vince and crew are simply holding on to guys because they're afraid of what will happen when and if they go to TNA then I hope that RVD and Punk and whoever else reads this and just starts doing whatever they want. Punk and RVD should just request to work each other and then burn the house down every night.

Oh and O&A were one MSNBC yesterday and they made complete goofs on the situation then too...love those guys...they have willingly reserved themselves 3 seats(one for Jimmy Norton) in hell...

O&A made some great comments, such as when they offered her the Justin Timberlake tickets the first time and they were both screaming "Take Them, Take Them!!!" had me dying....and then a listener called in and said that he and Jennifer had one thing in common...They'd both rather die than listen to Justin Timberlake....

I don't know of a time when Bret Hart challenged for the title prior to him beating Flair..but I'm sure this will be proven to be a wrong statement...I alwasy considered Tatanka's winning streak to be a real accomplishment although I was young and a big mark..but I really thought that he was something special and his streak was one of the bright spots in the fed..it's kinda strange that such a gimmicked wrestler also got a winning streak and man was I pissed when the Foreign Fanatics led by Yokozuna ended the streak and put him out...Yoko is the best heel ever by the way...

Jesus it's like reading old reports of 2001 WCW..I will always keep up..not watch mind you..but stay informed on wrestling just to see what fucked up shit they do next...
