There should be nothing negative said about this trailer..Surfer looked great and the movie should be good...and the first film got a packed theatre ovation when it was finished and NOT because they were glad it was over...like someone said earlier the end battle was too short but overall I liked the movie..I wonder how much of a part Doom will play in the sequel?

HBK left for 4 years after SCSA beat him he was always going ot sin and HBK was always going to leave.... What was the storyline in ECW that allowd Shane Douglas to leave at what looks like his hey day in Philly to go and become Dean Douglas in WWF? It seems to really be a situation where Shane went against everything he was about(I know he really hated Flair and WCW) to get a shot in Vince's world...you would've thought that the ECW fans would've ate him up when he came back and Heyman too....

That's what I'm, talking about...TNA needs a whole lot of work but if Heyman still knows how to book well, cover weaknesses and lead the troops then he might be able to pull it off...TNA doesn't quite have the ego issues that WWE has yet so I hope it's a real possibilty that he winds up there..... I swear that Vince is secretly trying to get TNA moving in the hopes that he can recreate the boom period of the 90's

I may be really behind on this but did any one know that Joe Rogan of UFC and Fear Factor fame is a MEGA pot head....like the "got it down to a science and he's an activist about weed" kind...he was on O&A this morning and was great..he's a cussin comedic genious and I never knew...

I tried to give TNA a chance but I am just convinced that somehow that ring makes people retarded...the booking of the shows mystifies me because you get both Memphis and Attitude but it's all so second rate with out good talkers to pull it off...and unitl they fire West and do something else with Tenay then TNA is finished..they can run Angle vs Joe vs Cage for free at 8 pm on NBC and the announcing will still fucking ruin it...

With wrestlers often making "legendary comebacks" at Mania they should never end UT's streak...if he were to lose to anyone and retire next year him coming back at Mania wouldn't be as special at some point later down the road... UT can do plenty just by having a great match with someone who comes close to ending the streak..I mean LOT'S of good near falls and then pulling one out the end of a hard fought match....

If they can get Cyke back it'll be fine with a new villian like Sinister...maybe have the Marauders show up and start killing a bunch a de-powered mutants and Gambit is on the run from the Marauders...they've booked themselves into a corner with the Xaiver thing so he might have to sit this one out too...

I also find it hilarious that people are on Rey's case about money or even the Eddie thing...God Bless Eddie but let's not forget the Dominic angle or the beating up a woman angle that Eddie was a part of among other things that he's done as part of a wrestling angle...he may not have liked it but he did it because he has a family and he has seen what happens to wrestlers who stay in the biz too long and the demolishment of their bodies...Rey , Benoit, Chavo and Vickie are getting paid to do this...I haven't seen any of the bank statements so maybe they're not ready to up and go to TNA or travel outside of the US to make less money... And I'm pretty sure TNA will run out of money signing all these "stars" long before they see any return on their investment...

When Christian came out with that mike I thought we were going to get a Russo-iffic adddition to the 3-way and have Christian winning the X-title...which I don't think would be a horrible idea although it could put it more into Intercontinental status...

Zenk maintained that the bookers(Ole Anderson) broke them up a la the Hollywood Blondes....think what WCW was then..no top rope stuff and veterns who hated younger guys so it doesn't seem all that unlikely....

I know that Rhino helped E&C back in the Fed but is there really a backstory between him and Christian...like did they really know each other for longer than their WWF run? This has been a pretty good show...that cage match was badass and I can't wait for Angle/Abyss...this should show Spike why two hours is needed....

he's right and the only way to fix the problem in my opinion is build to a big Mainia match with CM Punk chasing the title or get involved in a second Champions match which keeps the ECW title in the main event...with RVD and Punk I hope that SS, D2R and the RR are all big events for these two...a Raw or even SD! appearance by Punk would be good as well.....

Venom really was always a good character, just wanting to kill Parker and not "innocents"...I tried to find some of McFarlane's first pictures of Venom but couldn't(with all the movie stuff) because I seem to recall that he didn't always have such a huge monsterous mouth in the beginning and it was more of a crazy big grin...can any body back this up or am I just wrong?

I know that this is crazy talk but I would really love to see JR go to TNA and replace that screaming tv sales man...and thanks for typing all this up again...I know nay-sayers will just say that we should know this stuff already but it's still fun to read and comment on....

I'd have to say that Sandman being the killer will be a plot by someone. The Sandman seems VERY sympathetic in the trailer(running from someone and saying "what does it matter" when confronted about Parker and Spiderman holding his head Neo style in front of the subway)...I have a feeling that Sandman, like in the comics, will help Spiderman in the end against the Goblin and maybe Venom or at least against the suit...overall I just can't wait for this movie...best by far in the Marvel(and DC) line.

Half these guys still wear fanny packs on a daily basis...the have no idea what a "digital" camera is...

This is the one PPV that I really hope gets a lot of buys simply to show WWE that there is a demand for to get back to the classic SS matches...the whole PPV should just be elimination matches to keep feuding wrestlers from each other and still further the storyline..a title match once in a while but not every year...

Anybody watching MonsterFest on AMC has probably seen the advertisment for this 3 day festival of new horror films. Check out the site..they look pretty darn good...www.horrorfestonline.com Also anybody check out Bravo's More Scarrier Moments 2006? It's an update of their 100 Scarriest Movie Moments which is a great way to spend 4 hours..if you've not seen it the four hour original comes on Thursday..lots of commentary from directors,comedians and the like... I guess this could be an overall "Isn't October/November great for horror stuff?" thread.....

Go to http://www.crispinglover.com/ and watch the trailer for his film entitled "What Is It?"...Mancow talked about it today on his show and it sounds like the worst movie ever with a cast make up of the handicapable and down-syndromed....the trailer is worth a look...oh and it's a trilogy. ...What Is It indeed...

The Hulk movie had some really bad stuff and really good...I liked the realistic little touches that Lee gave the film, especially with the tanks and copters...but the mutant poodles just about ruined the movie. I hope that it's considered a sequel and Bana makes it back..I would like to see more of the Hulk in a fight against Mandroids and The Abomination than half the film building to him becoming the monster...just give him the power and get on with it..

It sold out every show from 5:50 on last night in every theatre in the Overland Park area of Kansas( which is huge). I finally got in to the 9:30 show and luckily I got in 20 minutes early as we barely got our seats but it was packed with quite a murmer prior to the film starting and when it ended every body, I'm talking the whole theatre, clapped almost as one( as in not one guy starts it and then everybody else joins in)... The wrestling in the hotel scene is by far the funniest thing I've ever watched and the movie was great..I can't wait to see it again EAT MY ASSHOLE!!!

This type of gore-only film isn't really worth the 8 bucks I spent IMO..this was really just a mix of the mystery of the first and the "gotdamn that's mean" totures of the second ..I guess it's a template for what any pending sequels could be like...this almost felt like what an episode of SAW: The Television series would be like...

Thanks for posting...WCW was great in that there was such a HUGE roster that they could could have seemingly endless combinations for matches. And at this time there were still many older wrestlers like One Man Gand, Sullivan and others that still had name recognition that in paper made it seem like these were low level "dream matches"(very low but you get the idea)...Now we get the same matches over and over and there's zero build to PPV because the guys's have all worked each other to death over the year...thats why with three shows I think the roster split should or give the champs the option of working whatverer show they want...

It's really crazy how this movie franchise has progressed...the director said that in Saw 1 he got a PG-13 type movie and went back and shot more gorey footage to get to the R but all in all there was little gore, just a smart mystery/horror. Saw 2 had a some horrible torture traps but now we've arrived at Saw merging with Hostel for some intense gore...
