I'm not really sure that any of the former WWE guys can really "run down" their old gimmicks. I can't imagine Team 3D saying "now that we're done being recognized as the most successful tag team in history UP NORTH here in TNA blah blah"...or Angle bashing his Olympic credentials. Christian is now back to being the cocky heel, Spike is still that craziest little bumper and Rhino is a bad ass with a real spear. Now if Rhino was made to wear a dress or something while with WWE then maybe...for now it's enough for them to simply say WWE doesn't know how to use their talent. And I like the idea about using indy bands or even just one or two contrcted groups to create real music that doesn't sound like it's from a 2002 cell phone........

While we're on the subject I'm up to 2002( Started with 1973) on the "40 Years of X-Men" and man did it just get tedious and boring about the end of 1995 until 2001 when we go from multi-colored X-Men costumes to the movie inspired all black style. The thing thast made all those issues so damn hard to read were the lack of explanation needed from the "X-Men" series and all the other X-Titles that they crossed with..having not read comics for over a decade this is quite amazing to see wre the X-Men have gone..damn they've added memebers and then lost them with little or no explanation..but I'm at issue 411 and I have enjoyed the last 20 or so issues..I'm just glad that they're not blasting off into space every other issue and the threats are not world threatening needing help from from 50 different mutants...

I think I will have to set an alarm to catch that 3:45 showing of The Crazies...I've always wanted to watch that...that sucks about IFC..The Ninth Gate? Not exactly terrifying...watching Halloween 2 now...forgot how good this one was

Nice! I have the rest of the month off so I'll have the tv on to these channels(and FOX for the Series) the whole time! This plus haunted houses and a bad ass costume party at Union Station(in KC ) will make this a great week.

This site continues to amaze me...the moment Angle actually vocalizes what people have been saying for years all of a sudden he's crazy....he can do EVERYTHING that people want a wrestler to do.. I maybe watched TNA twice in the years since it's been on PPV and t.v but I will damn sure try to watch it now...not ONLY because of Angle but he was definately the missing piece of the puzzle thus far...

What did he do after the breakup?..I know he was a face but I don't know what led up to the Loose Cannon...damn I wish we could just see whatever footage we wanted...

I guess I didn't see what the bad part of Ali Larters character was. The people I watched it with were as in to her stuff as much as the rest. She seemed very gaurded but that's probably what they want in her character. I liked the show though..made a point to watch it and I loved the Days of Future Past reference by Hiro...very cool new show and about time a network took a chance on something like this. Any word on ratings yet?

Picked this up yesterday and man is this awesome..all the full(with mail and adds) Uncanny X-Men 09-1965 through 08-2005. Just reading the books by Claremount and Byrne are a real treat with great art and the greatest storylines with amazing builds that make me remember why I loved the X-Men so much. I have enough content here to keep me amused for a long time. There's upcoming DVD-Roms for Spidey, the Avengers, Cap and DD too. I will post some questions and comments as I go. Here's the first: 1. 09/78-while Magneto is attacking Australia a reporter explains that no one is here to stop him becasue the F.F. and Chmpions had disbanded and the Avengers are under house arrest by the government. Anyone know why? 2. The slooow build to Death of the Phoenix is amazing and truely should be considered a great litterary masterpiece. I wonder if any one has ever seen or read a really good in depth with Claremount about his thoughts on writing the X-Men? Highly recommend this though and big thanks to Marvel for giving so much for so little. I can only hope for a complilation New Mutants and X-Factor DVD Rom soon.

I'll throw my weight in with the Kane support. I agree with the earlier post that his ring work is pretty good for a guy his size. Kane has been the product of a wierd obsession with Vince to take the biggest guys in the business(Kane,Big Show) and push them as monsters half the time and jobbers the other. I think Kane has survived some horrible moments in his carreer but he could definately hold the title again. All he needs is a good push right now and he'd be fine. He has been on a pretty good streak for about a year back to his tag title run. If he comes out okay with Umaga I'd say rekindle the feud with Edge and have him go after the title.

I never knew who Zenk was until I read his website columns and then I checked out some of his stuff...good worker and had some cool matches with Pillman but his real talent was putting a typed beatdown on the WWE...I would pay fucking money to have all of his old articles...those things used to have me in tears especially the one that got him in hot water(HHH as Lex Luger, Stephanie as Elizabeth 911 call)..some of the best and funny writing that I ever seen. It's a shame that they're lost to the world and that he'll never finish his book because Vince is an asshole scared of criticsim.

yeah I saw them(the hickups)...why somebody like HBO or Showtime hasn't picked up a weekly serires from Marvel like this suprises me and the things have scripts already written and would be huge ratings...

I continue to love how people just absolutely tear into Orton...the guy is like 27 years old...there have been two wrestlers,Cena and Rock, that young who have gotten over huge...it takes time..it took Rock less time sure but he went through a few changes in his character...no he's not the best by any means but so many people act like WWE would be better off if he just quit...

Anyways somebody here had a picture of the book on their posts a while back. It was about some wrestler who may be killing his oponents in the ring and is supposed to be very graphic in detail. If anybody knows the name and author I would appreciate it.

If I buy this one it'll end up being the third fucking time I have purchased this gd movie...but I am a big time mark for the extras and pieces on the "impact of the film 20 million years later".

I hope that Umaga goes back down the roster...have him squash some jobbers in 2 or 3 on 1 matches...then have him beat Doink, Eugene, have a few matches with Snitsky and maybe a program with Vis or Val Venis before moving on to Carlito at some point. If you look at the roster there are almost no faces anymore and most(Carlito,Dx the Highlanders and Cena) are programmed with somebody. That's not to say Umaga wouldn't be perfect for DX to work with. I never thought I'd be saying this but with AAE and the current push he's getiing Umaga is not so bad... On a side note is AAE a good worker?

Man Vince seemed to be such a prick in those days on commentary..guess loosing all your money will do that...
