This is a new low. At least he isn't covered in ketchup, which is what I thought I was going to see. -

He looks like Eddy. -
He will be aroused by that comment.

I've never really been able to drink beer, unless I'm heavily distracted by something. I drink usually one night a week (after the game on Saturdays) and normally get quite drunk. If I go to a gig or a bar or anywhere that sells alcohol I will always get something though, regardless of time or day.

Paul McCartney soloed on 'Drive My Car' and 'Taxman'; Lennon on 'Get Back' and 'Hey Bulldog'.

Various Chuck Berry songs were vastly improved on. -
That is horrible. And his reflexes are quite poor as well.

I hate them, irrationally.

Of the past 10 years I should have said. I think you're being overly harsh. And just because they haven't made an impression in the US doesn't mean they are bad. Again, I'm not a fan but they/he don't deserve such harsh critique.
-
I don't think so - they're probably quite important to British pop in the past 10 years. Saying much?? Not a fan but they were quite a decent group and will be remembered.

At the cremation, 'Light My Fire'. It is my favourite song, though. I'm in a Kinks mood just now so I'll go with 'Days' and 'Waterloo Sunset'. 'European Son' to finish.

Nobody cares. You do; you replied. Get out of my thread.

Yes, I am a troll.

The theme to 'Mission Impossible' is in 5/4... What does GG Allin fall under?

Morrissey MySpace with new single
-
Thoughts on the new Morrissey single? Sounds like a bit of a sing-a-long to me. Production isn't too brilliant and his voice...I dunno. Not bowled over.
-
In its own way, it is. Lyrically, it's highly clever.

For the record, here are the Beach Boys songs I think have lyrics on a par with those on Pet Sounds, for varying reasons. Chronological (released - lyricist in brackets) 'In My Room' (Gary Usher); 'The Warmth Of The Sun' (Mike Love); 'I Get Around' (Mike Love); 'Please Let Me Wonder' (Mike Love); 'Good Vibrations' (Mike Love); 'Heroes & Villains' (Van Dyke Parks); 'Cabinessence' (Van Dyke Parks); 'Breakaway' (Murry Wilson); 'Add Some Music To Your Day' (Joe Knott & Mike Love (apparently)); 'A Day In The Life Of A Tree' (Jack Reiley); 'Till I Die (Brian Wilson); 'Surf's Up' (Van Dyke Parks); 'Sail On Sailor' (Van Dyke Parks, various)

I've been playing the piano for 13 years and only now can I truly improvise with any efficiency. I'm a pretty poor musician but it's not really that easy...

I cannot get into Zappa at all. I've listened to Freak Out! and We're Only In It For The Money and just sit back in quiet confusion (I have Trout Mask Replica and don't find that as hard going - although it took a while). It's brilliantly innovative (a lot of the techniques are a couple of years ahead of what The Beatles were eventually given too much credit for) but does humour really belong in music... I'll give it some more time. It's too much to miss out on.
