Sweet. That answered most of my questions. The only question I have left is regarding the drums. Are both Rock Band (2) and GHWT, able to detect which specific drum set you are using, and will it integrate that drum set into the game. For example since I have the GHWT drum set, if I am playing Rock Band 2 with it, will it recognize that I have an extra drum pad and does it utilize that drum pad, or will I just only being using four drum pads when I play Rock Band 2? I think either the orange cymbal or the green pad is disabled when playing Rock Band. I know that when you go the other way, Guitar Hero mashes the orange cymbal in with either the blue or green pad, and there's only 4 note lanes on-screen.

Steam weekend deal: Oddworld games $2.50USD each, or $3.75 for both. http://store.steampowered.com/search/?adva...&category1= That's the PS1-era titles, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, and Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus. There's demos for both, if you're curious. -
When I noticed "Thrash Unreal" on there, I had to remind myself "Oh, I've got 'Stop!' as well." It's getting to the point where I've got so many tunes, I forget what's there. Including the 84 songs on the RB2 disc, I've got a total of 232 Rock Band songs. (Plus 4 other guitar games. And 2 more old Harmonix games.) O_O I'm sure a lot of people have more, but... cripes.

The G4 folk were pretty thoroughly jorny about Resident Evil 4, too.

I went ahead and traded for the 360 version. Not really planning to love it, but EB's got the full-credit deal, so I'll be fine regardless.

Supposedly, new "Jasper" models have a motherboard that should solve the problem. Though "Falcon" units were supposed to do the same, with a cooler CPU, and mine died in about 10 months. I'm not sure how to identify Jasper models, though.

I've got the first two on PC, and Underworld on 360. I'd kind of like to sell Underworld, so I tried to run through the others real quick. Unfortunately, Legend doesn't seem to want to load the next level without crashing. So I don't have much an opinion, unfortunately. There is that whole remove levels from the retail disc and sell them to you later as DLC thing, though. -
To elaborate: For whatever reason, I figured I'd go for the Bladder of Steel achievement. I started at 10-something AM. Just went on Hard bass, since I figured I'd kill myself trying anything else. Going along fine, no breaks, no pauses, no accidental guide button pushes, no dead batteries, through 81 of 84 songs... I hit "Visions". I fail "Visions". I fucking hate "Visions".

At EB in Canada, they have a game guarantee, which means you can buy the game (might have to pre-order), return it with receipt within a week, and get the full purchase price back in credit.

I had the PS2 band bundle for 2 weeks. Out of the box, one of the cymbals was under-sensitive, and so was the guitar's strum bar. The game itself was ugly, and clunky, and sloppy. So I took it back to the store this morning, and surprisingly enough, they gave me a refund. I was using the drums to start, and when I noticed one of the cymbals was off, I made an RMA request for a MIDI kit, to fix it. That was on February 14th. Only today did I get an e-mail saying they'd actually shipped the thing. (According to tracking, it was sent out on the 25th.) Good thing I didn't decide to go for a guitar replacement.
