Judging from the OVW Title history, they've faced each other many times over several years. They've also been tag champs together 10 times. Can't comment on quality. http://www.wrestling-titles.com/us/ky/ovw/ovw-h.html http://www.wrestling-titles.com/us/ky/ovw/ovw-t.html

The OAO "The WWE Experience" Thread
AnonymousBroccoli replied to SuperJerk's topic in The WWE Folder
Definitely some stuff I'd question if this show's supposed to be for kids. 10 seconds into the opening titles: Blam! Stacy's ass. 3 out of 4 segments they've recapped so far involve some kind of abuse directed at women, something the CRTC would be hesitant to allow, and in the case of Lita and Kane, didn't. Divas Magazine advertising. -
I doubt anyone outside of Canada will have heard of him, and I've never seen his standup act, but Mike Bullard's talk shows were really bad at times. If I were the type of person to get all giddy over someone else's failures, I'd be glad his show was canned after getting a handy whuppin' from The Daily Show in the ratings.

And sock.

I wonder if they'll go RIAA and start suing kids sharing Mick Foley being thrown off the Cell on Kazaa.

http://www.nwatna.com/previews/2004/4/28/preview.html I won't be ordering unless I see some extra great reviews after the show. I am watching the preview, and there's all sorts of fun technical difficulties marring every major spot of the cage match recap.

I really liked Spanky vs. Angle the SD! after No Way Out.

Join WWE this Saturday night at 11/10 CT on Spike TV, as it says goodbye to the groundbreaking program Confidential. This emotional episode will take a look at many of the top stories that have ever occurred in the world of sports entertainment, including the night that D-Generation X crossed enemy lines. It was during the height of the Monday Night War that Triple H and company invaded WCW at the Norfolk Scope. Also, learn more about the World Heavyweight Championship that Chris Benoit currently holds. Did you know that its lineage can be traced back to the early 1900s? Find out more this Saturday night on Confidential. Undoubtedly, Ric Flair is one of the greatest competitors to ever lace up a pair of wrestling boots. For three decades, the Nature Boy has been stylin’ and profilin’ all over this great land. Unfortunately, however, this was a career that almost never happened. Watch Confidential as Ric Flair relives his near-fatal plane crash that happened in October of 1975. There has never been a sexier group of WWE Divas than there is now. Take a look at them as they do Playboy Magazine, Stuff Magazine, the Golden Thong Award show and more. Also, Rikishi recounts the time he was the victim of a vicious shooting, go inside the cribs of many WWE Superstars, see what it’s like to be on the road with Bubba Ray Dudley and much more, including Mean Gene bloopers this Saturday night on Spike TV. Velocity seems to be starting with Teddy Long and Mark Jindrak. Good for them.

I've got the opportunity to buy some old WWF tapes from a dude, and the one year (since I started watching) with a nearly vacant spot in my collection is 1999. All I've got PPV-wise is St. Valentine's Day Massacre, Backlash, Capital Carnage from the UK, and a SummerSlam DVD I found at Blockbuster, which was somehow sealed, the disc working, but very, very scratched. I didn't include the ones I already own in the poll, and the guy doesn't have Royal Rumble, Over the Edge, or Fully Loaded, but you can still vote for them if you like. Thanks. Edit: Here's a more complete place to vote: http://www3.sympatico.ca/terry.dalke/bestof1999.html

I thought the new programs didn't start until early next month? Is May 1st early enough? -

Jindrak beat Orlando Jordan. Later is Bashams vs. Holly & Gunn. Now it's Noble vs. Spike Dudley. -

I think part of the Kelowna crowd was just chanting for "Teddy". -
I'll go with the Rumble, since it's the only contender I can recall well enough to say. I saw Judgment Day a few months ago, which was pretty good, and the crowd was bonkers.

There was a Rikishi vs. HHH match on January 6, 2000. I didn't get SD! until mid-2001, so I can't comment on anything about it.

Another recap show? I don't know that I'll tune in for more than the first couple of weeks, but it's a wise enough idea. There's not much in the way of kid-friendly wrestling shows as far as I know, so it's nice that they'll have something to watch again. I could see guys like Hurricane getting their own regular segment somehow. -
I got my tape in the mail today, for the USA vs. Mexico Americas X Cup from February 11th that had all the technical difficulties during the initial broadcast. I'd pretty much forgotten about it, so it's cool to see that TNA actually followed through with the offer. Did anyone else get theirs, or even bother to take them up on the deal?
-
That's good. It happened with Grounded for Life. Though it fits better at WB than Wonderfalls would.
-
What the hell is that?
-
Stevie vs. Hurricane, which I just watched on the Judgment Day DVD, starts off the night. Carry on.
-
Awesome, thanks. I saw the Backlash tape on eBay awhile ago, but had to give up on it once it got over $30 Canadian.
-
Ouch. That kinda sucks.

Curse your sudden, but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha ha! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! http://www.geocities.com/anonymous_broccoli/washdinos.html Anything I cap from a DVD that's not all bright, warm and fuzzy (ie, Family Guy) looks really dark for me on this computer. It's alright on my sister's spiffy new laptop, so it should be fine for anyone who bought their computer when Y2K compliancy was pretty much a given. I didn't mess with the picture at all, because I suck with colours and shading and whatnot. That's the file the program spit out, so you can play with it however you like on your own.

No they won't. They have never done that and they won't start now. They did with Titus. Within the past few weeks, I found the last 5 episodes on various tapes, and proceeded to do the dance of glee. I've said the equivalent of "Fuck Fox" for so many reasons over the last 2 or 3 years, so I won't even bother anymore. The first Wonderfalls episode had me scratching my head, but I really enjoyed the second, and with this news, I'll be sure to cherish the final two I have taped.
