    Who's Your Favorite WWE Wrestler?

Kurt Angle - I love his comedy work, I love his serious work, I love his ring work. The only time I can remember not loving him was at times during his '01 face run. Mick Foley - I can identify with Mick moreso than I can with anyone else, being a big, goofy, sentimental wrestling fan. His autobiographies are my favourite books, though that's probably not saying much, since they're the only ones I've read in 6 years. I don't like an average Foley match as much as those of other workers, mostly due to his style, but Mind Games and Rumble 2000 are among my favourite matches. His sense of humour is great, as are his promos. Paul London - I don't know if I've even seen 25 of his matches, or heard him cut a promo other than his SD! debut, yet he's never failed to impress me. It's one of my greatest hopes that he continues to improve, and gets to show what he's capable of some day in WWE.

    TNA Deal Seems likely

The only Fox Sports channel I see available on ExpressVu in Canada is Fox Sports World, which seems to be mostly "world" sports like soccer and rugby. Maybe SportsNet or The Score will pick it up. It might not generate enough of an audience for TSN.
  3. http://www.biography.com/tv/listings/rock_...austin_new.html Are any of the three new? I always manage to find out about these things a day after they air, repeat or not.

    SummerSlam in Florida?

I've got a poster that has SummerSlam scheduled for August 15th. The Rays aren't playing at home that day, but the Jays are. The Argos are playing on the 8th. The 22nd seems to be the only suitable Sunday free for SkyDome. Jays Rays There's a SmackDown! taping in Toronto June 1st, so I imagine if they're going to announce it, that'll be when. They did the same with WM18.

    The OAO Velocidential Thread

When did he mention Yang? I only watched half of Rico vs. Noble, and completely skipped Jordan's match.

Terri, Sean O'Haire part ways with WWE

Aside from the gimmick videos, the only thing I remember being especially good about O'Haire's run was what I believe was the first WCW match on Heat. Palumbo & O'Haire vs. Stasiak & Kanyon. It's been awhile since I've seen it, but I remember liking it at the time.

    The OAO Velocidential Thread

During the last segment, I saw a dude get up from his seat, walk up to the barrier, take a picture of Jackie's ass with his camera phone, then walk back to his seat and high five his friend.

2 TNA Tidbits: Best of Sting PPV, Job Opening

As far as I can tell, this is Sting's TNA match history: Sting & Jeff Jarrett vs. AJ Styles & Sean Waltman - June 18, 2003 Sting vs. Jeff Jarrett - November 5, 2003 Sting & AJ Styles vs. Jeff Jarrett & Lex Luger - November 12, 2003 Sting vs. Jeff Jarrett - December 17, 2003 Variety doesn't seem to have been a major concern.

    Oh, My...Re-Re Wrestling

I wonder how Cornette will feel about his 8-time OVW champion wearing earmuffs in July.

I just started watching TNA last week

Here's the channels on which Xplosion appears. If you want to watch some of their older (and probably better) shows and matches, you can buy DVDs, or order episodes from the TNA On Demand service. Before the end of the month, be sure to watch The Best of AJ Styles videos. He's arguably the most talented guy in the company, and all 3 matches they've made available are very good.

Oh my Lord, I think I remember this Tyson guy from an SD! dark match here in town last year.

    OAO NWA-TNA PPV Thread - 03/24/04

http://www.nwatna.com/previews/2004/3/24/preview.html The only things I want to see at the moment are Abyss vs. Killings, and Red's return, which probably won't end up being a big deal. I'll see about a replay if I read some good feedback.

    The OAO Velocidential Thread

Gar. I missed most of Velocity. Damn noobs at GameSpot. I'll probably forget to watch the tape too.

Going back to the 'Mania recap from the last break, didn't Taker kick out of the FU at Vengeance?

    March 24 TNA Preview!

Is Nosawa any good? I know I've seen him on the Super X show, and the one 2 weeks later, but I can't remember his work at all.

    TBS/ Lesnar Ring collapse

Check your PMs, Only. I think I got the clip from TheMayhem.com back in the day, and kept it for some reason, despite having it on tape. It's from the June 12, 2003 episode of SmackDown!. The whole spectacle was probably meant as their big non-PPV event of the month, going up against Bad Blood, which happened on the 15th.

    More on Edge

Triple H defeated Edge on the January 11, 1999 episode of Raw. They don't seem to have wrestled again in '98, '99 or 2000 on Raw. I'm too tired to check other shows, and amazed at how many times E&C faced The Acolytes during those two years.

    Bill Simmons Wrestlemania Diary

He wouldn't know that, though. When he last watched, Eddie was in rehab, and Benoit was injured. I'll give him credit for admitting as much, though. I hope people take this as what I believe it is: A sarcastic, semi-light-hearted jab at the event from a now-casual fan, rather than a scathing assault from a wrestling authority.

A Smart MSG Crowd turns on Lesnar & Goldy

He was, IMO, the best part of WWE in 2003, so I'll miss his potential contributions for the future. At the same time, I'd rather he go if he doesn't want to be there, rather than drag himself and the rest of the product down. He almost would've been better off not showing up at 'Mania. I don't know that he would've recovered as well as Austin did, because Austin had a lot more time to build up a legacy and a following, and didn't blow off a major, hyped event. But now Lesnar's got that stinker of a match and a crazy spectacle to follow him around if he ever wants to return.

The OAO "Who cried like a little bitch?"

I did. I had to hold back with my brother and our friend around. Unlike when Eddie won, when tears were shed as if I'd been hairsprayed in the face.

    The New Undertaker

I thought he looked like a cowboy. It might've worked, him being from Texas and all, but not with all of the Deadman buildup. Now we've got a DeadCowMinMotoShaggyTaker.
