They won't be able to do the required clusterfuck of running, over-the-top-to-the-outside moves in a battle royal.

A round of underachievement for everyone! Kash-Dutt was a little short. X Title was a match with 3 heels (though they're all popular to an extent), and wasn't nearly what it could have been. Tag Title match was decent, with some inexplicable referee ignorance. (Gilberti beating someone down on the outside in plain view isn't a DQ?) AJ gets jobbed, more poor ref booking (Low blows ho!), and the double turn lacked punch, probably because it was already two-thirds there before the show even started. Etc, etc. All that said, though, I don't regret ordering. It was good enough. I for one can't wait to see the BatB rematch, with some lovely exchanges of shots as stiff as the ones these smilies are displaying. And I'm lying real good. Sign of the night: "Don't Let The Cancer Invade TNA", or something to that effect.

To show how much JR loves Austin
AnonymousBroccoli replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
I would've been willing to forgive the Steiner beating, because it was as if Austin was serving as a condoit for Stacy's pent-up frustration over being treated like shit for the past month or two. They were even playing up that angle, with the camera cutting to Stacy smiling, and her egging on the "Austin!" chants. The whole thing was kind of sweet, in a way. Then he stuns her because she doesn't like beer? Hello? Did they not learn anything from the Mae Young silent treatment? They covered their asses a bit with the Jericho/Trish segment, which was pretty cool. But if they're trying to portray Jericho as a heel, and Austin as a face, they're not doing a very good job. -
Urgh. I got some bad advice from the Torch TNA guy. They didn't have any matches I really wanted to see, but I ordered it anyhow. Probably the worst of the 6 or 7 shows I've ordered.

It seems like I'm in the middle class of fan here. The casual naturally won't like it, because it was too long and boring, and the hardcore want to tear it apart. I really enjoyed the match, and the show as a whole. Accidentally ending up with a spoiler in my face wasn't much fun, but I think most people had the title change figured out anyhow. As far as the legitimacy of the falls goes, you have to consider that in a typical match, there's only one fall to be had. So naturally, there's going to be a little more motivation to get yourself out of the situation. Whereas in an ironman, you have a limited freedom to say to yourself, "It's alright. I can rest for a minute, and get it back." With the superplex fall, consider this: A 6'4" 300 lb. dude brings you over and down to the mat, from 5 feet up on the ropes, after having wrestled for 45 minutes. Not to mention that whole ring breaking thing a few months ago. Sounds alright to me. It may be a lot to ask after nearly an hour, but I think Kurt should have thrown in some other power moves in the last 2-3 minutes, while trying to get the tying fall. A fisherman's suplex, a single German with the pin, maybe a pile driver, or safe tiger or dragon suplex. Rolling Germans, while impressive, just don't get the crowd going. The last 20 seconds for the leglocked ankle lock was good, but it didn't seem like Angle was as desperate as he should have been for the rest of the finish. The format of the show and its network hurt a little bit. The commercials were necessary, and I think they were spaced out well enough. Anything we missed was covered in replays, though they really should have shown the aforementioned Lesnar superplex as it happened. As much as Cole was selling the possibility of OT, I could just picture the head honchos of UPN affiliates thinking, "I'm not cutting into my news for this shit." The match airing in Raw's slot on Spike, with the legit possibility of an overrun might have helped. The WrestleMania match let me down in the sense that it couldn't have lived up to its hype. Major injuries and Brock almost pulling a Foley IYH: Revenge of the Taker spot with the ring kept it from being really great in my eyes. I can appreciate and respect the effort and undoubtable suffering, but I don't have to love the match. This one lived up to my expectations. This is my favourite match of their feud to date, easily top 3 WWE MOTY, and top 5 that I've seen overall. Since I'm not totally familiar with the apparent intricacies of the star ratings, on a scale where 2½ would be average, I'd easily give this a 4½-5/5.

WMX8's was "18". If you don't get it beforehand, try something like "NYC", "MSG", "XX", etc.

I'm curious if he just wanted it for the heck of it, or to make a signature. I dunno. Here it is again anyhow: http://www3.sympatico.ca/terry.dalke/rvdtitle.jpg

I'll do it. [email protected]

To aid him in his new mega-push, Kane will enlist the managerial services of one Jackie Chiles, as well as his funky new sidekick, and personal saviour, the Chinese Balm. Wacky hijinx will ensue when RVD confuses "balm" and "bong", and attempts to get high by inhaling CB's fumes.

I visited his website for the first time the other day, while trying to figure out how to spell his name, and he said he's looking at mid-July for his return. That may be too long to wait. Besides, if AMW is ever going to beat XXX, this would be a great (if predictable) time to do so.

Seems like she's sucking up to the right people. I've got that beat. http://divasearch.wwe.com/ne_canada/raeann_ma.html

I wonder what's on TNN this Thursday night.

Maybe he could gain his own shadow first.

That's not bad at all. I thought it'd be a discount sort of thing. At this rate, I should be in the Xtreme Club by the end of 2007.

Could've been either of the two, but I picked the tag title match. I hope I can see the cage match somehow. Did Sabin vs. London get more time last week?
-
Excuse me can you explain? I might've missed this. "In fact, in two weeks, I return to Japan. And if these are the last two weeks that you people are gonna see me, then you'd better believe Triple X is gonna celebrate in a blaze of glory!" I'm a TNA noob, so I have no idea if it's legit, but that's what he said.

This was my second TNA PPV (May 14th being the other). My satellite service only shows it once a month, unfortunately. The show was pretty good overall. The matches were short, but I guess that's somewhat forgivable, given the celebratory nature of the event. Saturn didn't look very good in his match. Neither did the disappointing mystery partner in the main event. I guess there was some storyline involving Waltman saying he'd never work for Russo again, but for anyone who wasn't around for that... it was X-Pac not working very well. Shark Boy rules. Amazing Red wasn't there, but Vince Russo was. Sting did well, and got a strong reaction from the crowd, of course. I really, really wish I could see that cage match next week, especially if Chris Daniels is leaving. Maybe I'll get lucky, and ExpressVu will pick it up.

I really didn't like Backlash, and it's led to me not ordering anything until I've read some reactions. I don't have the funds to pay for a live feed of performance shit.

I'm still pissed, but that's funny.
