I can't take the ridicule much longer!
Silence replied to The Czech Republic's topic in General Chat
I was wanting to grow my hair out longer than it is right now, but since 3 boys in my English IV class keep on talking about it (things like "If you want me to give you a haircut, call me", "Braid it.", and "You look like Jon Bon Jovi". Yeah, my grown-out blonde hair does unfortunately look like his, and I hate being compared to a pop rock singer), I'm thinking about getting it cut short tomorrow and I probably won't grow it as long again until maybe college next year or after that. -

Don't give Vince any ideas! He'll make London a GM instead of a wrestler! -
The One and Only SMACKDOWN! 10-09-03 Thread

Paul London gets squashed, the McMahons have a LONG starting segment, Benoit's going nowhere in a stupid feud with A-Train, and Eddie's in a feud with the Big Show over sewage, shit, and burritos. TERRIBLE Smackdown tonight. -
Thumb war-Kevin Nash would get his thumb broken in one of the thumb war matches on Raw, then WWE would have to ban it. Rock, Paper, Scissors-HHH would tear his hand out of place when playing the game, so WWE would ban that too. So yeah, it'll be just interviews with the way WWE's going right now.

If certain WWE wrestlers feel Chavo isn't deserving of a push just because he's the nephew of Eddie Guerrero, then those wrestlers should take a closer look at Randy Orton, who got pushed into a major stable on Raw called Evolution just because his father and grandfather were in the wrestling business, and isn't as talented as Chavo Guerrero is.

I think that already started with the Angle vs. Lesnar Iron Man match because that's all that sticks out in my mind about the match. Now we'll unfortunately be seeing it even more, and not even Jericho, Benoit, Guerrero, or Angle are safe from getting their movesets limited even more. I've got a question: Does that also mean that future WWE video games will only include a limited number of moves for realism or will they still have a lot like in the Smackdown games?

How do you know? He might be just as bad as Russo from what we know currently, even though he implied that his philosophy of booking is much different from Russo's. I've yet to see that judging by tonight's poor show.

Josh Matthews: *squeaks* "Coming up next on Velocity: SPANKY teams with Paul London to take on Chuck Palumbo and Johnny Stamboli, so don't go away!" *cue to match, with Paul London throwing way too many backflip dropkicks that make Mark Jindrak look less generic and not changing up his offense whatsoever* Matthews:"Wow! Paul London has some skills!" Tazz:"Beautiful backflip dropkicks by London!"
-
I sure hope Paul London's thinking "Fuck WWE" now instead of the "It has been my dream to be in WWE since I was 11" bullshit.

On the pic to the right, Goldberg looks more like Brock Lesnar and Scott Steiner looks like a fat Jeff Jarrett.

I guess this spells the end for TNA. It could have been WWE's biggest competitor starting in 2002, but Russo, Gilberti, Jarrett politics, and the hiring of old stars like Dusty Rhodes and WWE rejects like Ekmo/Jamal have sealed this promotion's fate, and with Hogan about to appear on TNA shows, TNA's future now seems more bleak than ever.

And Undertaker burnt Stephanie's teddy bear, yet he's protecting her. Strange logic...

Undertaker:"'Cause ah'm in the main-event at No Mercy and ah WEEL win tha dubbya dubbya E tahtle, 'cause ah'm not feelin' lahke puttin' Brock Lesnar over agin!"

I've actually hated HHH since late 1999 because it seemed like every week he always got the upperhand over Foley and Foley NEVER got his revenge on HHH at either the Royal Rumble or No Way Out for that matter. I knew HHH had to have been playing politics at that time, however, I still praised his wrestling ability around that time up until 2002 after his first match back. He looked too big, moved around REALLY slow, and used a pointless moveset with choking, a spinebuster, punching, kick, and the Pedigree. After he won the Royal Rumble when it was obviously too late for him to be at 100% for the Wrestlemania main-event, I began to hate him even more, and felt that Angle would have been a better challenger for Jericho's Undisputed title. After noticing HHH and Steph getting the attention put on themselves while Jericho was playing second fiddle, and then Jericho losing the title to HHH at Wrestlemania, that's when I REALLY began to hate HHH, and have ever since.

Ever heard of sarcasm? You should look it up sometime. However, I never would have guessed that Russo wanted to push Benoit back in WCW, though it would be for bad storyline purposes instead of his wrestling ability, unfortunately.
-
Wasn't that the skinny, Jeff Hardy-like black TE 2 contestant who was lazy and Al Snow got pissed at him for it?
-
Yeah, TNA needed shit booking like the heel World Heavyweight Champion playing second fiddle to his manager, didn't they? If TNA loses Russo and he goes back to WWE, then I guess we all would LOVE to see those awesome 3-minute main-events and Sable stripping like it's 1998 all over again, now don't we? Screw Benoit, screw Jericho, screw Guerrero, screw Angle, shock TV is where it's at!
-
Expect to see Scott Hall return to shock Goldberg with a taser again, which leads to yet another nWo reformation. Yay! Ratings!
-
I hope this past week's show wasn't his doing. However, didn't he say something about that with the "building process" comment? No, it couldn't be, because that's what Linda McMahon always says about building stars in WWE and the right ones are never built up. Instead, it's the green rookies who get pushed to the top in WWE, so I'm not getting my hopes up yet for Mantel unless I see noticeable improvements for TNA within 1 or 2 weeks.

The ONE and ONLY SmackDown! 10-02-03 Thread
Silence replied to BifEverchad's topic in The WWE Folder
At least he'd have more character, though. Not in the best way, but it would be better than his yellow short tights-wearing rookie gimmick. -
As much as I like them, their current theme sounds too racist to me, just like anything WWE does with Eddie Guerrero (speaking in the Cheech & Chong accent, riding in a lowrider down the ramp, etc.).
-
Eh, I don't know, Jericho might do well (even though I'd rather see him wrestle), but HBK would bore me to tears...think about it: Jericho:"Austin has to be stopped! He throws his weight around and gets to attack wrestlers even though they can't attack him because he's retired! All that ever 'physically provokes' Austin is when one of the wrestlers bumps into him accidently or pats him on the back!" HBK:"I beat you at Wrestlemania earlier this year, boyyyy! You only beat ol' HBK on Raw with the help of Randy Orton!" Jericho:"Just shut the hell up, I'm trying to focus on the topic at hand on Raw tonight!"
-
Not until Russo is ousted from the company, though.
