With Joe being as over as he is, this heel turn will most likely backfire at TNA. I also think Daniels is going to be awkward as a face once again like he was last year.

Does this game have enough replay value for me to want to buy it after it comes out in the US? Titles not being defended in GM Mode really sucks if that's true. The ladder match sounds like shit this year, and I'll probably end up losing most of them if I can't push the ladder down with the opponent on it anymore. The Season mode is still linear and I can't play with certain wrestlers from what I've read. Bleh. I may rent SVR 2006 if it isn't that great. The only problem is that the rental stores in my area are too slow to get in the latest games (from what I noticed last year, anyway) that I do end up buying them, only for them to collect dust within a few weeks if they don't hold my interest for too long.

Yeah. I don't think SVR last year even deserved anywhere in the 8 range because it was so disappointing because of the crappy Season mode, lacked the good features from HCTP (roster editing), weak roster, etc... As for the "waiting for another fleeting moment of conditional control", did GamePro actually mean to say that there are too many menus to go through just to get into the in-match gameplay?

That's the most half-assed review I've ever seen from GamePro. Didn't they give Mortal Kombat: Deception a 4.5 in Fun Factor?

As for Cena, him losing his overness lately is exactly why WWE shouldn't keep changing good heel characters from what got them over in the first place when they turn face. Since WWE's been doing this shit since either 1998 or 1999, though, I don't see it stopping anytime soon.

How about TNW: Total Non-stop Wrestling? That might sound lame, but at least no one would ask you if it meant "Tits 'N Ass" anymore. They could go with Total Impact Wrestling, possibly. However, the World Heavyweight title is still called the "NWA World Heavyweight title" since that's the NWA belt that TNA's had all along. Weird considering that IIRC, TNA had cut ties with the NWA a long time ago and that's why TNA isn't called NWA-TNA anymore.

Damn, as soon as I call Lance Hoyt a "Test rip-off", TNA is suddenly in talks with Test for a one-shot match. I hope TNA doesn't hire Test full-time, though.

BTW, on a pointless note, I just wanted to let everyone to know that whenever you go to the forums (and possibly the site itself, too) now that there are pop-ups showing up even on the Firefox browser that can only be turned off by turning off Javascript. Aaron Rift's apparently been getting a kick out of pissing people off this year. Anyway, back to the topic. The heavy scripting on just about everything just shows how restricted every wrestler is in WWE, and not just in their movesets, either.

Knowing WWE, they'll wait all the way until sometime in the spring of next year just to turn him heel like when WWE waited so long to turn The Rock heel after he had become really stale in 2002.
