    What To Do With Goldust??

I hope Goldust/Dustin Rhodes wrestles like he did before WWE released him in 2004 instead of the same guy that had one of the worst matches of his career against Raven in TNA earlier this year at either Final Resolution or Against All Odds.

The OAO RAW thread - 10/31/05

I know he looked to be in terrible condition when I saw him in TNA (moving slower than he used to). Now Vader can't even balance himself properly.
  3. Ever since the first Ultimate X match, I've noticed an obvious flaw with the X falling down rather easily when the wrestlers try to grab it, then the ring crew has to make them wait so they can put the X back up on the cable before resuming the match. This takes up too much time and takes the crowd out of the match. Not only that, but it makes TNA look bush-league when something unplanned concerning a gimmick match happens frequently.
  4. Yeah, that feud Shane had with Kane apparently was a precursor to WWE fucking up Kane's unmasked character in later feuds/storylines (Matt Hardy, Snitsky, the Lita/Edge feud which involved Kane crying over Lita "divorcing" him) much like they did with his masked character earlier in his career. I'm not a big Kane fan, but I read that Kane's unmasked character in 2003 (before Shane did the damage to it in their feud) gave Raw some decent ratings, and the Shane feud was just another example of WWE ruining interesting characters.

    iMPACT 10/29 thread

It's BEEN stale this year. I'm tired of always seeing TNA tease B.G. James joining Kip by having B.G. and The Truth always approve of Kip's help against Team Canada, for example, and then Konnan always questions Kip James and almost fights with him every time. Get it over with already, TNA. It's obvious that B.G. James is leaving 3LK sometime to join Kip James, just DO IT. It's a waste of everyone's fucking time.

Two Stars Suffer Serious Injuries at RAW

Are you sure they'll even be wrestling by then?

    Smackdown VS Raw 2006

If Yukes actually did the GM mode right (such as wrestlers not leaving your show too easily just because they lost only one match or something), then hopefully you won't be disappointed. Keep in mind that Yukes did have a high-priced create-a-belt on SVR, so don't get too excited yet.

    Jerry Jarrett at WWE Headquarters.

I find it amusing that WWE decides to keep a wrestler who's EXPERIENCED and a former wrestling trainer like CM Punk down in OVW for a while to get re-tooled (as in forced to wrestle boring matches in WWE) while WWE continues to call up the green guys immediately.

    Eugene Breaks Character

The original Mankind character (up until the summer of 1998) was based on Hannibal Lecter from "Silence of the Lambs", which meant that Mankind would suddenly go crazy and attack anyone by using the Mandible Claw on them after acting calm for a while (Hannibal Lecter, however, would bite on his victims). The original Mankind loved pain as much as he loved dishing it out on his opponents. I hope that explained it.

TNA finally gets a videogame deal

As stupid as it looks, at least Konnan actually does that in TNA, unlike the possible morphing-into-a-cheetah shit from Monty Brown that Midway would probably include in the videogame.
  11. Yeah, that makes me wonder who's going to be the fourth member of the heel X-Division team.

    TNA Genesis PPV

I highly doubt it. They NEED to go with Daniels/Joe at this ppv, as I've been dying to see that match in TNA and it just makes sense with the contender structure in TNA right now for the X title. The winner of Ultimate X gets the shot at Styles at this same ppv, so have a contenders match with Joe/Daniels with the winner taking on the champ at Turning Point. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh. I think Daniels vs. Joe should happen since I hoped it would at Unbreakable, before TNA stuck AJ into their business (good match from what I saw after I downloaded it a while back, though, but AJ being involved was still pointless). I'm still wary about the Survival X match, like I said, due to TNA possibly doing something ridiculous like having Bentley, Dutt, and/or Sharkboy being the sole survivors and having someone like Sabin and/or Aries eliminated early.

And my love for wrestling has just died...

The Cena/Bischoff feud needs to die. I've been tired of heel authority figures vs. rebel workers storylines for quite sometime now, as probably everyone else has.

    TNA Genesis PPV

Either Matt Bentley or Sharkboy will be the sole survivor of the face X-Division team. Edit: Wait, won't Samoa Joe and/or Christopher Daniels be in this match? If so, I'll have better hopes about the outcome at least.

TNA finally gets a videogame deal

Raven throwing Edgar Allen Poe books at his opponent... Monty Brown morphing into a cheetah and giving someone a POUUUNNNNNCE... AMW decapitating their opponents with beer bottles... Sounds like fun.

    TNA Genesis PPV

Styles vs. Williams for the X-Division title already happened at last November's PPV (Victory Road). I really wanted a fresh AJ/Sabin match in TNA, since they've probably only wrestled each other once in their careers (ROH in 2003, but AJ was sick that night, so it wasn't that great). I guess TNA thinks they can't do X-Division title matches without having it be face vs. heel for some reason. Either that, or TNA still has such a hard-on for Petey Williams, even though he's the best wrestler in Team Canada right now by default (unless TNA ever brings Johnny Devine back), because Bobby Roode only does a bunch of restholds and growls, Eric Young only knows how to bump, sell, and look like a joke in segments, and A-1 is absolute shit.

    Wrestling lookalikes

I guess wrestlers looking like other wrestlers counts... Edit: Thanks for the find, alfdogg.

And my love for wrestling has just died...

Bullshit like last night's skit is one of the reasons why indy promotions still shoot on WWE every once in a while. I read that Steve Corino did a "5-bell salute" for CM Punk's WWE career because Corino claimed in his promo that WWE had "trademarked" the "10-bell salute" not too long ago in ROH.

    WWE Open U.S. Tryouts

You should give it a try. What's the worst thing that could happen? A WWE contract? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hint: It starts with an "I".

    Bound For Glory OaO thread

BFG wasn't too great, which isn't good considering it was TNA's biggest PPV of the year. I know Nash became ill recently and TNA had to scramble for new booking plans because of it, but they still should have had a "Plan B" since Nash is always too much of a risk for a main-event, whether it's unreliability or sudden health problems. Sadly enough, the MOTN was on the PRE-SHOW instead of the PPV. I hope TNA gets their shit together for Genesis.

Should TNA do away with Ultimate X?

The only "really good" Ultimate X match I can think of is the one that had Daniels and Low-Ki in it a year ago. Other than that, if TNA plans to continue Ultimate X, they should find better material to hold the X up, or do away with the X and replace it with some other object.

    WWE Power 25 Rankings.

Speaking of which, how did one of those teams not get on the "Power 25" and yet MNM, who have been jobbing for a while now, get on the list?

    WWE Power 25 Rankings.

If John Cena hadn't lost last Monday to Angle (and John Cena obviously hasn't lost often since 2002), then it would have been a different story.
