Yes. The "suspension" was going to happen anyway, but TNA had Raven "quit" on the air. The next week, because Raven had "quit", he was free to attack anyone (hence the segment with Raven almost running over a cameraman) until TNA finally gave him a title shot around the time of the Jarrett incident off the air, which led to Jarrett attacking a Hardy fan, being "suspended" by Larry Zbysko, and Raven replacing Jarrett in the Slammiversary KOTM title match.

The best way to tell that a topic was from a few years ago that gets bumped up to the first page is by noticing that the poster who created the topic has an unclickable name like they're "unregistered". I'm thinking that there was a board glitch a while back.

He probably has, because otherwise he'd know (if P-Any really has been here for a while) about most of the posters who used to frequent this folder just a few years ago that have stopped watching WWE (and possibly wrestling altogether) due to how bad the product's been for the past several years.

The connection of Benjamin now wearing biker shorts compared to the singlet from last year sounds almost similar to Jericho being a clean-shaven Undisputed Champion-turned long goatee-sporting jobber in 2002, or Tazz going from wearing a singlet like he did in his ECW days to suddenly losing most of his ECW persona by wearing "thug" attire and using a new, shitty catchphrase in 2000 that went: "Thug life born, thug life bred, and when the time is right, I'll be thug life DEAD!"

Oh, now I remember, because with Raven being "suspended" in storyline terms, it meant that he wouldn't have made the Slammiversary card that night until the Jarrett situation came about. I thought Rodz might have been talking about the story about TNA not being able to book 3LK and Raven on a TNA PPV not too long ago (not sure if it was Unbreakable, actually) due to money issues.

Raven was actually the Champion when that happened. I think it might have been before Unbreakable, too.

Ever notice how Yukes decreased the number of layers for CAW parts, though? I hope the same thing doesn't occur with CAW slots every year, because in the case of SVR 2006, there are some notable wrestlers left out that could have easily been added to the game like MNM, Simon Dean (yeah, I know, but he was a featured character on Raw a while back), Nunzio, and Rosey since several wrestlers/divas in the game have been gone since July (Joy, Spike Dudley, Jindrak, etc.). There are also those wrestlers who just debuted only a few months before SVR 2006's confirmed roster (Mexicools, Cade & Murdoch, etc.) who wouldn't have made it anyway, so I would have been fine with that, but not when the wrestlers I've mentioned above that were in WWE for a while weren't even included in the game and/or still aren't at the same time. I'm just saying that it would have been nice if THQ had some back-up wrestlers to go along with the ones released in July so it wouldn't almost look like a Warzone/Attitude-style roster.

Which is basically a rip-off of the Trish/Molly feud, except WWE had Trish make fun of Molly's "fat ass" instead of a "mole".

I'd say that voiceovers definitely need to be taken out of the next game. It's probably starting to affect the slots of CAW's now. Either that, or Yukes cut down the number of slots just to piss us off. Another thing: To be able to have an even better chance of having an updated roster, since Yukes can't seem to do the Legends right anymore, I think the Legends need to be taken out of the next game so that other cruiserweights who are usually seen on Velocity like Brian Kendrick/Spanky can finally make it into a WWE game if he's still around by next year. I'd like to have a nice blend of main-eventers, upper mid-carders, tag teams, and undercarders again much like the older wrestling games.

I wonder if that explains why Danny Basham hasn't had a match on Raw yet? He only appeared on Heat one time, and so far, that's it.

Shawn Michaels would just kip-up like nothing's wrong with him, as always.

They got the "tranny" name for Massaro from R.D. Reynolds on Wrestlecrap Radio, I'm assuming. That being said, though, I don't think Massaro is that hot.

I was thinking that Matt Hardy isn't going to last any longer in WWE if he's traded to Smackdown, regardless of his relationship with Ashley. Either that, or WWE's going to have him return in 2 months and do his ridiculous "Angelic Diablo" shit on Raw and continue his stale feud with Edge. Then, he'll probably be released after the feud is FINALLY over with.

You could on SVR. I've got pretty much dead on CAWs for every slot. You just need to find yourself a CAW making site and search for accurate ones. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Most of the faces for SVR CAW's that I've looked at are too similar due to the lack of different face models that were found in previous Smackdown games like SYM and HCTP.

The boxart is now considered false advertisement since Batista is shown as the World Heavyweight Champion instead of HHH. As for the Tag Champs...that's what happens when Yukes leaves out notable wrestlers like Rosey and MNM.

They probably chose him and Hassan for some reason as Rosey isn't in the game this year. Otherwise, maybe the reviewer's took him through a match and won the title? dunno.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> From what I saw, Daivari's on Smackdown. Hassan probably is, too. Unless Sylvain's on Smackdown in the game, I guess he and Rob Conway (despite the new music) would be the default Raw Tag Team Champions.
