    Bound For Glory

Especially Nash, who only drew in WCW because of the NWO angle in 1996.

    Blame it on Beergut's brother.

    October 8th Velocity

It also looks like WWE forced Spanky to cut his hair when I first saw him start wearing the purple/pink attire that he wears now.

I wonder if Vince punishing him for speaking out about the toning down of the Cruiserweights has something to do with that?

    Smackdown VS Raw 2006

The Legends list gets more disappointing every year. THQ just HAD to feed Hogan's ego even more, didn't they? Jake Roberts and Ted DiBiase being in are OK with me, though.

    The OAO Raw Homecoming Thread

For some reason, I WAS predicting the Ironman draw this past Monday because I thought that by WWE's track record in recent years (DQ's in title matches on PPV's, etc.) that WWE would be stupid enough to do a draw for a supposed "rubber match" and unfortunately I was right. I was still just as pissed as anyone else was about it, though, since finishes like those bullshit the fans every time.

Jim Ross possibly leaving RAW announce team

Judging by what I've read about Mike Goldberg, I feel like I'm going to hate him as much as I hate Todd Grisham and Steve Romero.

    Burger King guy TV commercials

Winner fights Hootie. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "Spicy" would lose due to outside interference from his boss that hates him so much.
  9. Could be another release from WWE if they don't decide to put Doug back on Velocity anytime soon. Sad, too, because he's always been the better Basham. BTW, why has WWE shortened CCC's name to just "Carlito" for a few months now? Did they think "Carlito Caribbean Cool" was too long?

    Smackdown VS Raw 2006

Sounds similar to the "Self-High Five" taunt in the Smackdown series with the hands not connecting together like in real life.

    Jarrett Interview

Jarrett has never been over enough or good enough to warrant a main-event spot in any company he's worked for. His ring skills have only been decent-OK at best in the past. Otherwise, his matches have mostly been boring unless he's being carried. His promos are predictable and repetitive every time. Casual fans will only remember Jarrett as a career mid-carder in WWE who lost to a woman on his way out before suddenly receiving a megapush in WCW for the World Heavyweight title all because of Russo when WCW was on its last legs.

What year did WWE start to lose their edge?

You know what the truly sad thing about the necrophilia angle was, besides the angle even happening in the first place? It was on ChrisMWaters' birthday that year.

    Oh great, another Ahmed Johnson.

What year did WWE start to lose their edge?

Since then, WWE and "missed/blown opportunities" have become synonomous with each other. This has already been stated by other people, but the year I think WWE lost their edge started in September 2000. HHH screwed Angle over in the Love Triangle in what people were expecting to be Stephanie joining Angle after he beat HHH at Unforgiven. The aftermath of Fully Loaded 2000 is somewhat debatable, as Jericho, Benoit, and Angle were about to be the new main-eventers in WWE, but WWE chickened out and had all 3 of them lose against HHH, The Rock, and The Undertaker, which killed their momentum. In addition, the aforementioned "Who hit Austin" angle, especially when Rikishi of all people was revealed as the driver. November 2000, however, is really when creative took a nosedive when Stephanie took over in Kreski's place (Austin dropping HHH from a car), and she still hasn't improved in her several years of being the head writer for WWE.
  15. WWE's going to try to turn Matt Hardy into the new "Crow" Sting? It would be even more laughable and sad if WWE actually went all out by making him wear black and white facepaint, a black trenchcoat, and had him hitting the other wrestlers with a black baseball bat during the Rumble. I don't think WWE would have Hardy lowered from the ceiling though, due to the Owen incident from 1999, of course.

    Velocity/SmackDown! Spoilers

On top of that, Piper probably wore trunks like he did the last time he wrestled in WWE in 2003.

Jim Ross possibly leaving RAW announce team

One mention of "ROH" and WWE will fire him after his first night on Raw, since WWE only wants pretty-boy announcers who don't know anything about wrestling.

Jim Ross possibly leaving RAW announce team

Another one of WWE's ways to make one of the crappy announcers' cliches sound good. Nice try, WWE, but I wasn't entertained.

Tony sounding like he was calling a match to Mike Tenay while cutting a heel promo seemed a bit awkward, though.

    Smackdown VS Raw 2006

Once again, my crutch word for Yukes comes into play: Laziness. At the rate Yukes is going, SVR 2006 is going to have a data-erasing glitch that rivals No Mercy's on the N64, or the freezing glitch on WM 21 for the X-Box. I hope I'm wrong, because so far, all I've noticed is lazy programming and audio glitches ("Introducing, introducing....").

    Smackdown VS Raw 2006

I really hope the face models aren't one of those "never-to-be-seen-again" features in the Smackdown series much like roster editing most likely is because of those damn voiceovers. Edit: I just looked at the link for the CAW page on IGN and it looks there aren't any different face models like in SYM and HCTP, for now. There are only 7 face types, so I would think there won't be anything different-looking with the faces except for scars, etc. once again like on SVR.
