    Velocity Report *spoilers*

Last Saturday on Velocity, Nunzio beat London for the title after Vito handed Nunzio a baton/billy club (not sure what it's called) and hit London in the back of the head with it. Then he pinned him. This led to London's current angle of being "screwed over" in his matches and possibly in the process of a heel turn.

    Smackdown VS Raw 2006

Does SVR 2006 have Powerman 5000 songs in it, too? That's fucking sad.

DA, you have potential. Keep up the good work.
  4. About Jericho and Edge: There was a news item a few years ago about HHH not wanting anyone to copy his look. It started with Christian and Test, who also had long hair at one point, but someone in management told them to cut their hair because "long hair is out", yet HHH has still kept his hair long because of his political power and the fact that the McMahons like him. HBK has also avoided getting his hair cut because of always being HHH's real-life close friend. However, Christian didn't seem to mind according to an interview a while back because he said he's able to fix his hair himself now that it's short. Then, sometime after Nova/Simon Dean had joined OVW, Stephanie told him to cut his hair because he looked too much like HHH. This hair-cutting epidemic then spread to Shannon Moore, Bradshaw/JBL (except he wouldn't look right with long hair for the JBL character, of course), etc. After all of this, HHH and HBK have still kept their hair long, obviously. That's where I got the HHH and Stephanie references from. About Burchill: I do wish WWE would let him use those moves and impress me and other wrestling fans with his work, but like I said, with the WWE style still being in effect and the banning of top rope moves like the 450 and the SSP, Burchill's moveset will definitely be watered-down like everyone else's, unfortunately.
  5. *cough cough* HHH and Stephanie *cough cough* *cough cough* Same reason for Edge possibly *cough cough* As for Burchill, he seems promising in the ring, but of course, with WWE cutting out SSP's and 450's, his offense will probably consist of mostly restholds and a shitty finisher.

If the fans ever turned on Cena

Exactly. It's just really sad that this has still been going on since Stone Cold and The Rock first started the trend, The Rock especially. I remember the criticisms we and other smarks gave The Rock for a while (saying the same damn lines every week, limited to 5 or 6 moves almost every match, etc.). Then the marks turned on him in 2002 because even they knew he was stale by then because of WWE taking away what got The Rock over in the first place a few years before as a heel.

    *Smackdown Spoilers*

To anyone who says WWE is trying to make Smackdown suck because of their upcoming Friday death slot this fall, what about Raw for the past 4 weeks? It hasn't been any better because the writing is just as bad as Smackdown's, especially when they hired a fucking "Nick-Nick-Nick-Nick-Nick-Nick-Nick, Nickelodeeeeooonnnnn!" chick who doesn't even know how wrestlers bleed.

You turned on him in one-half of a year? Damn, most of us had already turned on Cena after last year's Royal Rumble when he said the infamous "WORD MOTHAFRICKIN' LIIIIIIIIIFE!" BTW, that nursery music-sounding (and looking) rap video did suck. I agree. Next week on Raw:"'Dis is real....recognizin' REAL! Ah grew up on da streets!" *Crowd boos Cena over the fact that he came off NOTHING like a "thug" in his "Right Now" music video*

Benjamin has officially become the black version of Jericho because WWE has buried him beyond belief lately. This fucking sucks. Next week in Montreal will probably be some of the loudest boos ever in wrestling when HBK shows up there for sure.

    Unexpected title changes

It actually was a shock to some people that did have Internet, since WWE wasn't really booking Jericho like a favorite to win the Undisputed Championship heading into Vengeance. Sure, he turned on The Rock and had a major feud with him back then, but I still don't think Jericho was being booked strongly at all back in 2001, which is why I think it shocked even a certain amount of Internet fans. Of course, most of the Internet fans figured that WWE put the title on Jericho (in unclean fashion, of course) because WWE had no other alternatives for title holders since Angle, Rock, and Austin had already had enough title reigns by then. Also, Jericho was clearly booked as a transition champion so that HHH would win the title at Wrestlemania X-8 only 2 months after he came back from his quad injury. That's how Jericho was labeled by some as the "New Ronnie Garvin".

    Anybody else growing weary...

Yeah. Aren't the DVD sales the only thing that's helping WWE with their money right now?
  14. Well, I guess you're right. If that's the case, I hope WWE doesn't go to any of those cities for Wrestlemania or it'll indicate that WWE is financially worse off than they've ever been.
  15. Hah. I should have known that. It's just that Noah made a sick joke about Hogan body-slamming Andre's corpse at a future Wrestlemania on his audio show, Xtreme Mayhem a while back. His co-host, however, told him that Andre was cremated. Oh, and "bootyface" is Noah Donish's crappy catchphrase, that's why I called you that. Getting back on-topic, with WWE constantly having Wrestlemania in the same areas since the beginning (except for Detroit, where Wrestlemania hasn't been in a while), how slim are the chances of WWE taking Wrestlemania to newer cities like Charlotte, Atlanta, Las Vegas, etc.?
  16. Are you Noah Donish from nodqforums.com?

Paul Londons Promo On Velocity *spoilers*

I understand what you're saying. I just hope that if this new heel character turns out to be a success that WWE doesn't turn him into another John Cena or Rock later on by turning him into another catchphrase-spouting, play-to-the-crowd face with corny gestures ("You can't see me!", 5 Knuckle Shuffle, and "Just bring it!") and a 5-move moveset.

    Smackdown VS Raw 2006

I did that too in HCTP. I also played as Steven Richards and Tajiri so many times in Season mode that I was able to get a HIAC World Heavyweight title match at Wrestlemania with Tajiri beating Richards for the title. It was some of the funniest shit I had ever done.

    Antonio or Romeo?

Antonio and Orton have similar-looking faces. The hair's different, though. As for Antonio being compared to GMS, he does annoy me sometimes when he attempts to act "pissed off" much like GMS did in TNA a few years ago.
  22. You're right. After that happened, the news came about on many wrestling news sites about Vince banning/toning down piledrivers and other head-dropping moves due to HHH receiving a stinger from The Undertaker's Tombstone at Judgment Day 2000.
  23. Silence

    Antonio or Romeo?

That's what I thought when I saw him and Romeo debut on WWE TV against Tajiri and Regal on Raw in a match for the World Tag Team titles a while back. Anyway, I don't care for the Heart Throbs too much. The fact that they're on Heat or jobbing out to Viscera on Raw most of the time doesn't help, either.

Paul Londons Promo On Velocity *spoilers*

Actually, the crowd would probably fall asleep after seeing him now, no matter if HHH is a heel or a face.
