I forgot which thread it was (possibly the Raw thread from last week), but you said something along the lines of "WWE has bad shows every once in a while", meaning that most of them are good (according to you) when they really haven't been lately, nor have most of the shows been good in the last few years. It's just that recently, the shows have gotten worse than usual, I think.

Carlito's on Raw now, so now it's called "AWWW DAMN IT!! THIS MAKES ME SICK, BAH GAWD!! KICK OUT, DAMN IT!! KICK OUT!! GOD ALMAHGHTY!!"

I know. It seems odd how Conway would be better off looking like a French/Canadian sympathizer again than an even more flaming version of Buff Bagwell that WWE recently came up with.

If WWE fills it with Chavo/Kerwin restholds and Tajiri's usual spots, it won't be too above average, unfortunately. BTW, Zack, how are you recovering from last night's Raw?

That's probably what most people mean by Stephanie taking WWE away from its roots and decreasing the wrestling even more. You may be wrong.....but I doubt it. Sorry, had to say it.

I thought WWE was going to do that last year based on his purple trunks and boots as opposed to Rick Martel's pink trunks and boots, but now it looks like WWE's changed his look into that of a stereotypical Frenchman, with the black mustache and slicked black hair. I guess within a year, though, that'll be changed into WWE going all out with "The New Model" character for Rene Dupree, knowing them. I wonder if WWE's going to keep having Rob Conway looking like a gay Buff Bagwell within a year...

I unfortunately noticed the lack of heat for that match. Great, now Stephanie's going to cut down the number of matches per show to 2 every week just because of a horrible crowd!

It's still weird that Jericho hasn't even wrestled a match for quite sometime now, like you said. Because of that, WWE's build-up of Jericho for a title match has been piss-poor, of course. So RedJed, where did your "once in a while bad WWE shows" argument go after tonight's Raw?

How do you know that WWE won't just give Kurt Angle that character, considering that WWE turned him into a Sharmell rapist earlier this year, along with Angle saying that he wanted Brooke Hogan to "tap out" to him?

A 2.5 will be considered a good rating for Raw or Smackdown.

I think I remember reading about Ultimo being frustrated with the way WWE used him that he just decided to go back to Japan. It's sad that Ultimo's dream of competing at Wrestlemania is going to be remembered by him tripping at the entrance.

Oh. WWE still might not utilize the Cruiserweight division properly on Smackdown, though.

...And WWE's STILL cancelling Velocity this fall? Bleh, unless WWE suddenly starts showcasing the cruiserweights more on Smackdown, which I unfortunately doubt except every once in a while. Aside from that, it'll just be the Mexicools that we'll probably still see regularly by September.

Anyone that tries to get an interview with Flair next time is probably going to have to take note of this. *mumbles* Sheesh, Flair's a cranky son of a bitch these days....

With the news about Stephanie most likely wanting WWE to move away from its "roots", the chance of seeing good matches and MOTYC's may decrease before the end of this year. Also, there could be an increased amount of horrible angles, characters, etc. due to Steph's current direction, and if that becomes the norm, I may not be watching too much of Raw and Smackdown like I still am. Hell, on Velocity, I refused to watch any Orlando Jordan US title matches against Jindrak and Holly earlier this year because I knew those matches would have sucked because neither of those 3 are/were interesting in the ring or have any redeeming qualities about them. I could watch to see CM Punk, Gibson/Noble, Spanky, Benoit, Eddie, Benjamin, London, etc. unless they're being really misused on the shows, but aside from that, Stephanie moving WWE away from its "roots" still has me thinking that the shit angles and characters will continue, while good matches become even more scarce because of that and the WWE style. Seriously, the rice krispies/M & M's (no pun intended) tumor on Jillian Hall's face being with MNM, Animal & Heidenreich as WWE Tag Team Champions, Benjamin jobbing out to Chris Masters, JBL still main-eventing, OJ still being the US Champion, John Cena still being his annoying self as a face? Ugh.
