Benjamin lost the IC title to Carlito on his first night on Raw, lost to him again on PPV, and hasn't been seen on Raw since (his most recent match was a dark match with Rob Conway).

You'll have a good chance of that happening if Regal being a close friend of HHH's doesn't have any effect on Regal's job security in WWE. If Benoit somehow gets released, Rudo will most likely try to blow up WWE headquarters.

I hope that Holly, Grenier, Candice, and Scotty are included in those cuts. However, I'll unfortunately be wrong and they'll probably release someone like Shelton Benjamin instead.

I was thinking about that just two months ago before I read about them appearing in OVW and showing up at ECW: ONS. Of course, Vince will probably still release the Dudleyz even after they showed up at ONS, knowing him.

I hope Shelton's not suddenly on WWE's release list, or jobbing on Heat, because it seems like he's been heavily depushed since losing the Intercontinental Championship to Carlito for no reason. Chavo's new character is an insult to everyone's intelligence. "Denouncing my Spanish heritage" and basically acting like he's suddenly white (no pun intended) now. WTF?! Shawn's heel turn was surprising to me, but the outcome of the whole Shawn/Hogan feud's going to be very predictable and boring. *cough cough* Hogan wins at Summerslam, does his silly cup to the ear shit for 10 minutes, blah blah blah *cough cough* The Jericho/Cena promo was good, but it's sad to see Jericho still getting his ass handed to him by Cena even after 3 years of their feud on Smackdown in 2002. Has Jericho still not renewed his contract with WWE? The Raw Diva Search segment was, as always, the worst part of the show tonight.

As sloppy as Petey's hair looks now, I'd have to agree with you, because when he had it short, I thought he looked too much like a Jamie Noble wannabe.

In all seriousness, though, if WWE really wanted a match to be called a "Street Fight match", the match should actually take place out on a street like the name suggests. Otherwise, it's just one of WWE's 100 names for a No DQ/Hardcore match.

Does that really matter? No DQ, street fight, no holds barred, hardcore, and ECW-rules matches are all the same thing in WWE. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why can't WWE just call every match with no dq's in it a "No DQ match" and be done with it? No need for any other special name for it.

This will probably get off-topic, but I'm thinking it's because Eddie found out he was tapping out clean to Benoit at ONS, got pissed about it, and therefore gave him a bad match on purpose. I already posted that in the "One and Only ECW One Night Stand" thread a while back.

Yeah, it's been giving me problems on dial-up so far with the skipping of the frames throughout the show. I may have to get it taped tonight like I said, or maybe find a download link somewhere (it may not be likely this time around, though).

After all the hell I've had to go through with my PS2 twice, if the same things plague the PS3, I'm certainly not buying one.

Wow. That would be such an anticlimatic conclusion for a feud. I wouldn't put it past WWE to do that, since they've been having wrestlers who once hated each other suddenly team up for a while now.

The only other face Cruiserweights on Smackdown that could team with London to go against the Mexicools would be Shannon Moore (doesn't have a good chance), Funaki (possibly), and/or Nunzio (see Shannon Moore). Knowing WWE, they'll probably just turn Spike Dudley or Billy Kidman face and team one of them up with London along with Funaki even though both Spike and Kidman suck.

The WWE Crusaders' involvement wasn't necessary, anyway. Now RVD definitely has even more reason to be pissed about that. Stone Cold's involvement was pointless, too. Yeah, he was in ECW at one point, but the Stone Cold character is WWE alumni, and Austin's been played-out and overexposed for so long. It's too bad TNA wouldn't let Raven show up at ONS, since he was a major ECW star during the mid-90's. Benoit and Eddie should have had different opponents, since they never had a series of matches against each other in ECW, and Eddie doesn't seem to be on good terms with Benoit anymore to the point of giving him a bad match. Aside from all of that, I still liked ONS, but there were so many things on the PPV that probably led to the underwhelming buyrate.

Candice, Jindrak, Kenzo & Hiroko, and Grenier definitely should be on the chopping block. Also, if WWE never plans to turn Simon Dean back into Nova or give Richards a significant push due to being injury prone, those two may not serve anymore purpose on the WWE roster, either, especially with Velocity being cancelled this fall.
